I applied for a personal loan to help with some extra funding I needed to buy a home after receiving a mailer. I applied through the website and they offered me $7,500 at a 29.99%!!!!!

You've got to be kidding me!

I called to negotiate and the agent just said this is the offer. Over the last few they call without leaving a message 2-3 times a day.

Review: I had been receiving info from them about being "pre-approved" for a loan. I had call the Revdex.com to check this company out and was told by the local (New Orleans) affiliate that they were reputable. I finally decided to call on about the third request. I was then told after giving them my info that they were sorry, but they could not make me an interest rate offer. I told they lady what I thought of them and told her to make sure that they NEVER sent me any more information.

Lo and behold, about a month after that, I received another offer that was "pre-approved". I called and went off on the employee who answered my call. I got a supervisor and made it VERY CLEAR that I wanted no more of their crap sent to me. This man assured me that he had taken me out of their system. Well, he must be a liar because today I received another "pre-approved" offer. I called and asked for a supervisor. The lady would not transfer me to a supervisor until I told her the problem. After I went through the whole story, she was supposedly connecting me to a supervisor. I was on hold and she never came back. Needless to say, a supervisor never came on the line. I had told her I was going to file a Revdex.com complaint. I hung up the phone and now I am spending time to do this.Desired Settlement: I want them to STOP sending these lying letters to me. They said they don't want my business so I don't want any more of their mail. They can all die as far as I am concerned. They gave me a glimpse of hope to my situation and they slapped me down. They are just a bunch of lying [redacted] I want something put in their Revdex.com file also that they do not do what they say they will do and I have no idea what they did with my Social Security number.

My experience with Best Egg could not have been more pleasant. I did some reach on the company with Revdex.com and other sites, read the complaints and concerns. I completed my application online and was given two options for a loan, a 3 year, 8.99% and a 5 year, 11.97%. Further research, I went onto bankrate.com, contacted my own bank and my tax advisor for the options to handle paying off the debt. Unfortunately my situation of too much credit card debt is not a quick fix. The best way out, is to change my spending habits, consolidate the cards to lower interest rates and pay as much as possible.

I never spoke to anyone at Best Egg, After I received the loan offer with the two options, I took 3 days to review, research and discuss with my spouse. During this time, I received one email a day, letting me know I still had an offer open. I only received two emails after accepting the loan offer; one to verify my email and one to request documentation.

My loan was funded and in my bank account in 48 hrs. At no time did I feel pressure or felt hassled.

It seems like the people who have negative experiences generally are just upset that the quote they received was higher than expected. If that's the case, you don't need to take out the loan, so I'm not sure why that would reflect badly on the company. They were a great choice for me - I had several credit cards with high interest rates, and received a loan with an 11% rate and paid them all off. I now have only one payment a month, and am paying less interest. The process was fast and easy and I am able to check my account, make bigger payments, etc. with ease as well. I would recommend this company - for once I'm glad that I paid attention to my junk mail!

I was able to work with an individual personally and move through the process quickly. My experience was very professional and I always felt at ease discussing my concerns and questions with my consultant.

Applying for and receiving the loan through Best Egg was a very quick and easy task. They were able to offer me the rate that I was happy with, and had the funds in my account electronically in less than 2 days. If you need an unsecured loan without a lot of hassle, Best Egg is the first place I would go.

WOW. This took me all but 15 minutes to complete, get approved and accept. Payment auto dep to my bank acct.

I recieved a pre-screened offer in the mail from Best Egg, and was interested in their offer to consolidate some debt. I went to the website, filled out my information and this is what came up: Application Complete

What the heck?! Don't send out pre-screened offers only to deny people. What a waste of my valuable time!!!!!

They sent mail with pre-approval code. I gave them my sensitive information to get evaluation by web. In final step, It appeared "No offer is available for you this time." My credit score is not bad. They got my information only, It is a kind of scam. Best Egg, you are not best, you are just horrible egg! Don't waste your time and stop giving information to them.

I have a decent credit score with 32 years in the same job field and 8+ years in my current job. I have always received credit in the past with no issues. I make very, very good money. Probably more than 99% of the people they deal with. I was using for consolidation so my Debt to Income ratio would actually be lower. I received no offers. Who does this company lend to??????

Unable to contact these people about my loan. No papers received with account number, website has no record of my email address, phone number to company's customer service doesn't work or you're placed on eternal hold. (have been on hold for up17 minutes this time).

They do deduct from my checking account every month on schedule just impossible to contact them.

It was easy to get the loan but extremely difficult to contact anyone since. Not seeing a written contract with details makes me suspicious. I just want to pay off my loan. Does anyone know how to contact these people?

Review: When I apply for the loan offered in my name, I am immediately denied. When I apply in my husband's name, he is immediately accepted. The income reported either way is the same, so why does Best Egg have a problem with the female applicant but not the male??Desired Settlement: I would like an explanation from Best Egg via email, in response to my complaint listed above.

I'm very satisfied with my experience so far. Was a quick and easy process for me. Applied online and was accepted for a 3 year loan at 5.99% as advertised, . within one day, the funds showed up within three days. It was easy to setup direct deposit/automatic payments through my checking account and the account dashboard helps me keep track of my current balance. No problems, very favorable experience.

Very quick and easy access to funds deposited directly into my account! Easiest process I've gone through.

This company sent me a pre-approval letter in mail. I call them and the rep ask for my personal information which includedy ss#. Assuring me this would be a soft pull. The submitted my information only to inform me nothing was available at this time. He requested I try back at a later time. I think this company are scam artists just collecting ppl personal information to use elsewhere. I am gonna check my credit report and see if a sp was done and if it wasn't. Review: My husband and I recently applied for a loan through this company. We were not going to be approved for the amount that we were seeking. Therefore we did not complete the loan process. Mybestegg.com called to go over the loan. They were advised that we were no longer interested in the loan and requested that they discontinued calls to us regarding a loan application that was not completed. They have called at least 4 times since then and are refusing to quit calling.Desired Settlement: Please stop contacting us. We no longer wish to pursue a loan with your company and based on your continued harassment we will not EVER contact your company for a loan.
