Dealing with Best Egg has been a miserable experience. My husband died and I have been trying for over a month to get someone to speak with me. I got through once and was told to fax his death certificate, which I did. I heard nothing from them and when trying to reach someone, told them that I kept getting cut off and was told, "we're a big company." Now that they have tried to take money out of his bank account they took me to legal. I tried to talk to someone, they are out of the office and do not want voice messages. Really, a "big" company that has only one person in legal to speak with. I would never use this company.

I must admit I was skeptical, but I was hoping for some quick help. The offer seemed too good to be true. However I decided to take a shot and I was pleasantly surprised. The loan was quick and easy, and was funded within 3 days. I can payoff credit cards and enjoy financial freedom!

I tried to pay off my balance for more than one hour first online and then over the phone! I tried over and over to pay off my pay off balance and received an error message online. I called the 844-825-2608 and 855-282-6353 phone numbers over and over. I get a busy signal and when I connect with the new accounts extension was on hold for more than 15 minutes three times, and was hung up on twice.

If you are dealing with people's money and have access to their checking account YOU NEED TO BE MORE ACCOUNTABLE! I have no confidence in this company and feel that even though my account balance is zero, they will charge me my previous monthly payment.

I have an above average credit score, but yet the interest offered to me was higher than my current credit card.

Review: when I first contacted best egg I was told I would have a certain percentage rate but when I started the process the interest rate went up over 4 percent higher and then was told to have the lower rate I would have to pay over 50 more dollars a month.I should have been told this from the beginning before I gave them my personal infoDesired Settlement: MY INFO SHOULD BE REMOVED IMEDIATELY.I SHOULDNT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY INFO BEING ON THEIR SITE OR IN THEIR FILES FOR TWENTY ONE DAY LIKE THEY SAY.BE HONEST WITH ALL WHO REPLY BEFORE OTHERS GO THROUGH THIS PROCESS.

Great easy process.

Terrible, I had a conversation to discuss the loan and was told it was a simple interest loan. Found out after making 10 Payments a loan of $10,800 has a balance of $10,400. They have lied to me as a consumer. I know they recorded the conversation and it would clearly state that information was disclosed to me.

I have been in the Financial Institution for well over 25 years and my experience with Best Egg has been greater than what I expected. In reading all the negative reviews I was hesitant in applying for a consolidation loan. But, my husband and I decided to give it a try. Upon our submitting the appliation online, we received a instant reply with an approval and the request for the paperwork to finish the deal. With filling out the application, submitting the paperwork and receiving the funds in our account, it was less than a 3 day process. I would hightly recommend Best Egg for all your loan consolidation needs.

Boy am I soooo glad I found this site. I got a pre-approved, but there are more negative reviews than positive which is telling. Sometimes you have to read the writing on the wall.

Review: I am filing a complaint against Best Egg Because I filled out an application and was pre-approved for a personal loan for 35K. I was asked what documents to upload and I uploaded all of my documents.

I received a call from what sounded to be a person with an Australian Accent. He told me he is calling me to verify my information and that we needed to contact my bank WellsFargo if I had a problem with that? I said no problem. He called I verified all of my information with [redacted] He asked them if my account was opened within the last 60 days and [redacted] verified that they verified my Social, Date of Birth and my address. Everything checked out to being I am who I say I am. He then proceeded to ask me if I Knew a [redacted] and I told him yes I do that is my Sister In law and she was the one who referred me being that the whole we are in New York Visiting our family. I was then told he was sending my application for final approval. It turns out I got a decline, and coincidently so did my Sister in law. The reason for decline? Unable to verify identity. Mind you my Sister in law has lived in her home Since 2005 and I own my home and my bank verified all on my information. If they were to go on Orange County Florida Property Appraiser and look up my name they would see that the whom is under my name, but it is just easier for them to send a letter and state they were not able to verify me.Desired Settlement: To have someone re look in to my application.

Best Egg has a very quick and easy approval process. I should have used them sooner.

Review: was applying for a loan they approved me with no issue , 1st I was approved for a 26k loan then I talked to [redacted] ( a best egg loan rep ) I was little off on my income , so [redacted] said we had the cancel that loan and redo a different loan application with the right income ( my rental income didn't count because I haven't collected rent for a full yr yet ( I fully understand that ) so we redid the loan app it came back with me approved for 35k more then I needed but when you start a project unexpected things do happen so I was happy looking at it as a safety net , we did everything they called my bank to verify my account, I uploaded all the information they needed and wanted I signed all the loan paper work [redacted] said everything was good to go , money should be in my account Monday I asked him are you 100 percent sure I asked him is there anyway anything can happen where the money wouldn't come on Monday because I was going to pay the contractor his no refundable deposit. He said that is why we call the bank to make sure your bank account numbers are right so Monday comes ( it's a holiday) so I waited intill Tuesday still no money so I call [redacted] he will answer my calls or return my calls

I different lady gets on the phone and said she needs more information I say ok and give it to them then she wanted to call my bank again I told her [redacted] already did that she called to a lair I asked to talk to [redacted] she said no I am not allowed to but then she said just upload the other paperwork they needed then call her back

I did that then tried calling her back and now a different person gets on the phone saying I am a lair about everything I lied about me being retired ( I am retired) I filled out a lot of different apps with them I am fraud ect ect talked to me very crazy

So now after they got all my bank info account is setup for autopay for the Loan they refused to give me ( again after I was approved and signed the papers for the money )

And now I have to make payments on a loan I didn't get and also out of the money a paid the contractor because best egg promise money would be there Monday and wasn't

I have emailed best egg 4 times asking for update no response each time I try to call them they hang up on me or talk to me crazy and lie

And now the new person I talked to said I applied for a different loan with them and gave them a different email address and told them I worked somewhere eles

This is more Crazy then crazy . I asked to speak to a manager was told managers do not handle phone calls & can only contact them though email so I asked for there email & was told they can't give that information out they said I can leave a massage and a manager will email me backDesired Settlement: Can a real manager contact me and get involved someone higher up in the company???

It's not right for loan reps to lie & treat me the way they have not trying to be rude but how can a company treat people so badly and still be in business??? Does upper management know how people are being talked to and how they are lied cause as of right now I am out my deposit I paid to a company for repairs I need done because they promised money would be deposited on Monday

Review: Received a "pre-approved" notice from Best Egg. We have stopped using our credit cards and we have been paying as much as possible to pay them off. This offer to get the balances to $0 and make one payment at a better interest rate seemed like a decent idea. Went through their online process and was declined. Odd that you're pre-approved but then declined. I understand that the fine print allows them to write it this way and I knew there was a risk.Desired Settlement: I would like Best Egg to reconsider my situation. I'm sure their explanation letter I get in the mail will be fairly general so I would like them to take a closer look. We over used credit cards for a period of time due to cash flow issues but things are better the last year and we would like to get rid of the debt that we generated.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

With a FICO of 810, the actual APR was 3.1% higher than the APR quoted in the flyer for a personal loan for the amount borrowed for which I was supposedly pre-approved. This APR was however 3.9% lower than the best rate I found from local banks and credit unions. The online application process took less than half the time it took for my credit union online application (I did not submit the credit union application once I saw the rate and because I did not want two applications for credit on my credit reports.)

BIG waste of time !"YOUR PRE APPROVED FOR UP TO $40,000.00".Fill in the online form for $25,000.00 and submit only to be offered $2,000.00 with a 24.99% interest rate (that's even higher then my monthly credit card rate)!

My experience with Best Egg was horrible. They are very unprofessional and claim to deliver something they can't. After giving them all the information that they asked for, they still kept asking for 2 to 3 days over and over for about 3 weeks. I feel violated knowing that all my financial, and personal information is in the hands of individuals that can do whatever they wish with it. I went through constant phone calls from them for weeks. Got approved for the amount I asked for based on my credit and income, but they dragged it on and on till I said enough is enough. I honestly felt like they were frauds, taking into consideration the petty things they called about and asked me to do. For instance: they called my job for verification and told me that the company placed them on hold two or three times. That blew my mind. My question to them was : Why do you guys put me on hold multiple times and for long periods of time before I can speak to someone. My experience with them have been awful, and would never recommend them to my worst enemy.
