Our devices save lives every day and I'm not sure how your mother was taken advantage of During a phone conversation 7/the client was informed the unit must be returned to us to cancel accounts and stop billing We recieved the unit back this past week and a refund is not due Our service manager has already spoken with [redacted] and while we sympothize with the request we recieve these requests daily and simply cannot operate a business without clients paying monthly while they are in possession of our equipment The account is cancelled and there will be no further billing but we do not see a justifiable refund due as our equipment was in the clients possession

Although this account is in agreement until July 5, 2016, Safe Home Security has agreed to cancel the account without penaltyThere is no further money due and the account has been closed with a zero balance

The client is under contract until February They have admittedly switched companies They paid through August and signals were present until that time They have never scheduled a service call or called in to say system was not working They have two choices for resolution They may pay teh buyout owed under section of the agreement or they may have us switch them back at cost and honor the remainder of the term

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This company took advantage of an year old woman, not explaining to her that the minute their device was delivered to her home, regardless if she opened the package or not nor activate the service, she would continue to be charged $every monthMy Mom [redacted] is a retired, handicapped woman in a wheelchair who fell prior to the medical device being received and opened, and went directly from a Hospital to a Nursing/Rehab FacilityShe lives on a very low fixed income on her Social Security and this $which was charged every month since May on her checking account, depleting her of any spending money left her, after the Nursing Home was paid, leaving her virtually pennilesswe are asking that this company please reimburse her for months of charges in the amount of $If they do not do so, I will also contact Consumer Protection Agency and the CT Attorney General about this concern Sincerely, [redacted]
