I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The response indicated there was debt owed and that was not the issue.  During my conversation with U-Haul there was a argument between a customer and employee which could be a racial issue.  I would like to have a copy of the complaint. there are two sides to every story and I would like to know both.  My issue is that I am being attacked without just cause. I could understand if the other party was not allowed to drive, or be in a U-Haul store.  I would abide by that request.   Punishing me and anyone associated with me for the rest of my life doesn't sit well with me.

Turn the coupler handwheel clockwise…" RepWest Insurance Company advised our office that their investigation reveals the customer called in to say they were going to load the towed vehicle into the Auto Transport and it separated from the ball. She also stated she drove 10 minutes with the trailer to the towed vehicle location. This was done without incident. Based on RepWest’s investigation, U-Haul is not liable and the claim remains closed. Our customers are very important to us and we regret to hear of situations that cause problems for them. The response given to me from the business is ridiculous. Yes, I was presented with options, however, none of them were suitable. Again, two days prior I was confirmed with a 14' moving truck at my Carbondale location. The trailer option wasn't suitable because my vehicle wouldn't have been able to tow it and therefore I wouldn't have been able to pick it up on Wednesday. So, if I had accepted the trailer option I would be in the same situation, since I there was no Uhaul truck to pick up the trailer in Glenwood. Dotsero is an hour away from Carbondale and I had to work on the day I was picking up the truck, which is the reason I confirmed a 4pm pickup on Tuesday as I was picking it up on my the way home from work. Dotsero would have been one hour and thirty minutes from my place of employment and wouldn't have been possible to pick up on the day I had reserved a truck. Yes, I was given a 26' truck and that jeopardized my safety. As the store manager/owner at Sunburst said to me when I returned it, "I wouldn't feel safe on that truck, actually I don't feel safe in any Uhaul truck". I pulled into my driveway with the 26' truck and immediately contacted the store due to my safety concerns. So, yes, I was presented with options, but none of them were reasonable. How far is one supposed to travel to pick up a truck they reserved at their "preferred location"? How much should I jeopardize my own safety? How much is acceptable on behalf of this business sending people all over the place to pick up trucks that aren't the size that are reserved in the first place?

She informed our office Ms. [redacted] was given a $35 discount at the time of rental and then a $25 VIP Certificate because the air conditioner was not blowing cold air. The Certificate can be used toward a future purchase or rental on the many products and services U-Haul has to offer.
Ms. [redacted] spoke to Ms. [redacted] recently and advised her of a refund for $110.32 as a final resolution. The refund should post on her next [redacted] credit card statement.
In addition to our basic truck and trailer rentals, we rent pick up trucks and cargo vans. We rent storage units, garden equipment and steam cleaners. We sell boxes, bubble pack, rope, tape and propane. We also sell and install permanent hitches.
