Hello, The refund is pending on your account. The store you purchased your merchandise would have to refund it to you. I have notified them and I am going to give you their phone number so it can be handled. Unfortunately my office does not handle refunds or I would have made sure you had already received it. The check was mailed and made out to the customer. Our company was never returned any money. If the customer is claiming that the check was fraudulently cashed then they must speak to either the banking establishment or file a police report. The customer has been informed of this.

Simply to maintain you informed. Value City called and then I called them back yesterday.  The next opening they have is June 5th to pick up the Sofa and take it to their shop to be fixed, which they say will take 5 to 10 days to fix….Well, we will see….hard to believe after almost  6 months of trying to get a response from them.I want to thank you, because every time you contact them they actually act.Thank you again,

Good afternoon,      We see that the customer called a month after delivery, unfortunately we can not pick her furniture for a refund as we do not know if customer had bugs before furniture was delivered to her home. Value City Furniture does not have bed bug.

Good evening,       we will replace the sofa for the customer.

As a courtesy we will give the customer credit to our store in the amount they paid for the sectional so that they can select new furniture. When the new merchandise is delivered the remaining pieces of the sectional will be picked up

I am rejecting this response because:
When I spoke last to [redacted] from the store in Greenbrook on April 2.  She said that the 'money was noted to be back in my account' and she placed a new request for a refund to be sent to my address via Certified Mail.  [redacted] acknowledges I am not their customer and have not been for quite some time.  The check must have been sent to them from Crest Furniture by error.

Our final offer is to replace the table. As explained prior to this the leaf itself cannot be replaced as leaves are made specific for each table and a new leaf would not fit the customer's table. Replacing the table with a brand new table would resolve the issue the customer is experiencing.

I am rejecting this response because:
I want another opinion and I want someone else to come out and hear what I am hearing! If you run your hand over the top of the one sectional you'll hear what seems to be plastic under the fabric! If this is normal why don't ANY OF THE OTHER 4 pieces to this sofa make that noise????

I am requesting that you reopen the case [redacted].  The couch is still not repaired.  Two screws broke inside of the couch so it is sinking in the middle.

I received my new item and I am satisfied.

We will attempt to clean one piece at a time in our shop as a courtesy. The customer will be contacted to schedule the pick up.

I did call Ashley Furniture, the person I was suppose to call Tonya at [redacted].   Tonya left a message...

6/1/16 at 9:15 am.   I returns her call on 6/2/16 at 2:15pm and left a message.  I waited until 9:30am  6/3/16 to see if she would return the call, no response was made, I left another message.  On 6/6/16 I called at 9:34am and finally reached Tonya.   Tonya said she was going to put a voucher in the system to replace the chair and advised me to wait a day then go to the store I bought the chair and purchase another using the voucher.   Any additional fees would be paid by me.  Once the furniture was delivered they would pick up the damaged chair.  I did agree to the delivery charge, but if they want the damaged chair back, the delivery charge should have been waived.  I would have picked the chair up at the store.
