Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] If your company fails to see the injustices it has done to myself and the literally THOUSANDS OF OTHER PLAYERS, then I hope your company rots in hell It is beyond corrupt, you delete posts made by your players, not because the topic is inappropriate but because you don't like the truth they speak about your greed and what you've done to the game I was not asking for excessive compensation, just a refund From here on out I will do whatever I can to see that you lose business well beyond the dollars I was cheated out of due to your horrible, unmentioned changes.Good luck in deleting posts that are on dozens of other websites about your now terrible gameRevdex.com, thank you for time and effort but it obviously is falling upon a company with no morals

Hello! We definitely understand your concern In many cases our own security procedures will detect suspicious charges and we will automatically not claim the funds In those cases any pending charges you see should return to you in hours, based on your financial institution's policies If that is not the case, and the charges remain on your statement after hours we will happily investigate and see about refunding the purchases This medium is not secure for payment information, and we do not have enough information now to locate the charge and provide a refund You can request a call from our Customer support at https://us.battle.net/support/en/help, select Battle.net in the first section, then Payments in the second section In the drop down that comes up select 'Unauthorized Charge' then hit 'Select a channel' The option for a phone callback is there Once you hit that, a representative will be in touch, usually within minutes We do it this way to eliminate hold times They can search on the payment information, find the charges and assist with the unauthorized purchase If that does not work, reply here and we will be in touch by email to set up a good time to callRegards,Customer SupportBlizzard Entertainment

We understand that ongoing in-game harassment can be distressing which is why Blizzard Entertainment’s Customer Support Department has policies and procedures to address harassment of this type These policies focus on penalizing the person who has violated our in-game policies and Terms of Use It is not necessary, recommended, or encouraged to transfer or rename a character if one is the victim of harassment This is because it will not dissuade or prevent harassment from occurring Instead, we ask that the customer report any ongoing in-game harassment to our Customer Support staff and ignore the offending player This prevents any communication between the two parties across the entire account If this ignore is somehow bypassed, we encourage our customers to report this as soon as possible as this circumvention is not tolerated and can merit stiffer in-game penaltiesIf this customer decides to return to playing World of Warcraft and they are harassed in any way, we ask that they please utilize the aforementioned avenues to report the harassment and protect themselves from further in-game harassment

Greetings ***, I have looked into the statements made on the forum post in question. In this post, I found a few statements of concern. - Multiple statements indicating another user of the forums had below-average intelligence. ... - Defamatory, ‘callout’ language towards another user. - Implying another user was illiterate. None of the above statements are conducive to a constructive environment, and such nature does go against our Terms of Use. If you’d like, I can provide specific statements that violate the Code of Conduct, but as the RevDex.com posts these reply publicly, I will send them to your email if desired. With that in mind, this forum suspension is in line with Blizzard’s policy; we will not commute the penalty. I also reviewed the contacts you had with our staff, and I will follow up with their supervisors with any coaching points I found. Thank you for your understanding.

We have reviewed the matter again and we have arrived at the same conclusion According to Blizzard’s internal logs, the records show that an unauthorized third party program was detected when the account logged into the game server Upon review of the logs for the account, Blizzard has discovered that the access matches the customer’s play patterns Additionally, several in-game tests were performed by Blizzard’s staff that showed that the actions on the account were automated by a third party application Blizzard has determined that the account shall remain closed on the basis that the account was not compromised and its subsequent use of the unauthorized programThis action is taken in accordance with the Battle.net End User License Agreement ( [redacted] ) which all users must agree to upon creating a Battle.net account

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Again, I appreciate that you’re trying your best to clear the situation, but my issue still stands, as I have been banned unfairlyIf I were some punk kid cheating and causing trouble in games, I assume I’d move on to purchasing a different account at this point, and wouldn’t humiliate myself trying to defend my innocenceLiterally, at this point, the only reason for which I’m still here trying to plead for myself is because of my friends and loved ones in WoW, as I wouldn’t want to drift away from them or find a different hobby, because if it wasn’t for them, I would’ve stopped after seeing you have no interest in helping me recover my legitimate account.I have offered anything from my perspective as to why this could’ve happen, and furthermore, as to why this happened, namely that phishing fake Heroes of the Storm promotional mail that got ahold of my information, which for some reason, my antivirus did not trigger, as it didn’t install anything on my machine, so probably the website itself was the scam. So, in the end, I understand you believe I’m guilty, although I don’t agree, obviously since I’m not, but I just wish you could leave your prejudice and somewhat tunnel vision when it comes to the faith you have in your systems to look into my actual concern, that if anything shady took place on my account, it was not done by me, nor with my knowledge or blessing Regards, [redacted]

Greetings,Our policy of all digital purchases being final can be found at the link, http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/about/termsofsale.html under Section B, article There is no time limit in which one can ask for a refund, all digital purchases are considered final the moment they are made We can sometimes make exceptions if there is an issue that is reported quickly, but such requests are considered on a case by case basis We have reviewed the matter again and we have arrived at the same conclusion In this case, I'm afraid too much time has passed since the initial purchase for us to be able to assist with a refundWe hope that that this clears up any concerns regarding our stance on refunds

An investigation into the allegations contained in the complaint of the customerhas revealed the Account was found to be employing a thirdparty program that modifies the actions in the game When the account was logged into the gameserver, Blizzard’s system detected a third party program that has been prohibitedfor use in conjunction with Hearthstone (the “Game”) by Blizzard The use of these programs harms the gameenvironment and gives the player unfair advantages over other players.According to the Battle.net Terms of Use Agreement which all subscribers agree to uponregistering an account to play Hearthstone, “You agree that you will not, underany circumstances: (A.) use cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-partysoftware designed to modify the Service, any Game or any Game experience.” For additional information on the Battle.netTerms of Use, please visit: [redacted] Even if this behavior is the result of a third party accessing theaccount instead of the registered user (for example, a friend, family member,or leveling service) then the account can still be held responsible for thepenalty because of the impact it had on the game environment TheBattle.net Terms of Use is located at [redacted] which was accepted when the Game was installed and theaccount(s) established states that, “You are responsible for maintaining theconfidentiality of the Login Information, and you will be responsible for alluses of the Login Information, including purchases, whether or not authorizedby youIn the event you become aware of or reasonably suspect any breach ofsecurity, including without limitation any loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosureof the Login Information, you must immediately notify Blizzard by emailing [redacted] .”Due to use of the third party program, Blizzard terminated the account on 2/6/ A notice of Account Closure detailing theTerms of Use violation was sent to thecustomer’s registered email address on that day Any disputes of this action or furtherinformation on exploitive activity, please visit the Account AdministrationOverview and contact page here: [redacted]
