BlizzardWhite.com Reviews (165)

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]

Regards,

First, I never visited the website to order the product, and never checked a box saying I agreed to terms of a free trial that would tie me to a contract of automated shipments. I'm not that stupid to be willing to pay $94.00 for a product I have never used before. The only box I would check would have been in agreement to pay shipping charge for the free trial.

We recently received your complaint from the Revdex.com regarding your Blizzard White account. We take complaints very seriously and we hope this response will provide you with additional information. According to our records, we received your order on August 4, 2014 and shipped your...

package the same day.The terms of the offer that you agreed to at the time of your order clearly state that you were to have a one week trial period starting from the date of your order processing in which you could cancel your account to avoid further charges.  They also indicate that “youmust take affirmative action to avoid further charges or you will be charged in the amount of $94.31 eight days from the date of your order processing for the product.”  These terms were presented to you in multiple places on our website when you ordered our product. Additionally, you were sent an order confirmation email after your order was completed that provided a full written version of the terms you agreed to. When you ordered the product you also checked a box indicating that you had read and agreed to the terms of the offer. When a customer checks that box we must assume that they have actually done what they are stating they did. If there was any confusion with the terms you could have called our customer service team and they would have been happy to assist you.Since we did not hear from you during your trial period, you were charged $94.31 on August 12, 2014. The first time we heard from you regarding the cancelation of your account was on August 17, 2014 after you had already been charged. Your account was immediately canceled and you have not received any shipments or charges since then. You did not contact a representative to request a refund until August 30, 2014.At that time we reminded you of the terms of the offer that were agreed to at the time of your order which state that once the trial period has ended, product from the initial shipment is not eligible for a return or a refund. However, in an effort to maintain our standard for customer satisfaction we made an exception and allowed you to return your product for a full refund. You refused all offers to receive a refund and opted to file a frivolous complaint instead.  We emailed you return instructions outlining how to return your product for a refund, including your return deadline date. Please follow the instructions listed below in order to receive your refund.Dear [redacted],This email is being sent to confirm that your account is cancelled. You will no longer receive charges or shipments. The RMA number you requested is [redacted]. This is valid for one package. Under the Return Policy, you may only return one package for credit. Your package must be received by September 24, 2014 to receive a refund. We do not recommend doing a return to sender as they are a low priority for the post office and may not be received by the return deadline date. I apologize for the error in processing your return. I have issued a refund of $94.31 today, it may take 3-5 business days to reflect.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I did get a return authorization from the company, but I did not order their product from their website - I used a link through [redacted]. A company SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED hide a monthly membership in the terms and conditions knowing damn well that no one reads them. Plus, they gave me 8 days to respond if I wanted to cancel but I received the product after the 8 days! Yes they got me - they got me good, but my complaint is to hopefully have the Revdex.com stop companies from operating like this.

Regards,

I did not in fact order this item as I never clicked on "confirm" and I was charged anyway! Why do you have this step if you don't honor it? I truly believe this is fraudulent! I want my money back for this company "Blizzard White" to destroy any and all of my personal information and cc number from all systems! I DID NOT ultimately order this product and I feel conned into it, which I truly believe you all know that! I'm sure it is part of your ploy to sucker consumers to buy your product! Why can't I be refunded my money? Wouldn't it make for a good business process? Are you afraid everyone will do the same? If your system process is so safe, good and secure then you should have nothing to worry about. This is just not right! After all it's only $4.90! I did return the package as soon as I received it! Thank you for your consideration. [redacted]

by the way, the woman I spoke to tried desperately to get me to keep this $94 product all the way down to $9.99! Wow! What does that say???

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
I will say that the customer service they provided when I called to resolve this OUTSIDE of the Revdex.com I still have issue with. But as far as what I feel needed to have taken place within this transaction is in the process the resolution I had told the representative on the phone.

Regards,

Ms. [redacted],

We recently received your complaint from the Revdex.com in regards to your Blizzard White account. According to our records, we received your order on May 23, 2014.

The terms of the offer that you agreed to at the time of your order...

These terms were presented to you in multiple places on our website when you ordered our product. Additionally, you were sent an order confirmation email after your order was completed that provided a full written version of the terms you agreed to.

Since we did not hear from you during your trial period, you were charged $94.31 non May 31, 2014. Inside your shipment there were two products. One is labeled “Free Trial” the other is labeled “Complete Program.” The Complete Program is what you were billed $94.31 at the end of your trial period.

The first time we heard from you regarding the cancelation of your account was on June 6, 2014 after you had already been charged. Your account was immediately canceled and you have not received any shipments or charges since then.

At that time we reminded you of the terms of the offer that were agreed to at the time of your order which state that once the trial period has ended, product from the initial shipment is not eligible for a return or a refund.

However, in an effort to maintain our standard for customer satisfaction I have made an exception and am allowing you to return your product for a full refund. The following return instructions outline the steps required to receive your refund.

Dear [redacted],

This email is being sent to confirm that your account is cancelled. You will no longer receive charges or shipments.

I didn't receive the response from Blizzard White until 8/18/2014 which is after the due date of 8/15/2014 for the product to be returned. I would like to have an extension and will mail the items back in tomorrow's mail.

Although you can return product from an ongoing Constant Dazzler Club shipment, you cannot return product from the Web-Only Trial once the Web-Only Trial has elapsed and you have been billed for the product.Customers who cancel during the trial period and return the product are eligible to receive a refund on the Initial Trial entry fee as well as initial shipping costs.Customers purchasing BlizzardWhite through an incentive web site (qualifying for, as an example, a Free IPAD® through a third party advertiser) and initiating a cancel before the initial product shipment has been received by the customer will result in disqualification for  your free gift.As I stated previously, we are unable to issue a refund as you have filed a dispute with your credit card in the form of a chargeback. I am considering this matter closed.

The purchase terms state that a customer can cancel any time after receiving their first shipment. Our system is set up to be as efficient as possible so that customers may receive and evaluate their product quickly. Customers typically are very pleased with our fast turn around time. In fact, this is the first complaint we have ever received where the customer is complaining that we shipped their item too quickly. I apologize you're upset, but it sounds like simply reading the purchase terms or calling us to ask questions prior to placing your order would have avoided any issues. We have yet to receive your return. Again, if your product is not received back by January 17, 2014 you will be billed in full for the product.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,
