Your credit should appear on your account within 5-10 business days; however, depending upon the practices of your financial institution, the process can take as many as 30 days to show on your credit card or bank statement. This is word for word phrasing from a legitimate company that has the customer at heart... "Important: This is NOT a trial or subscription. You will NOT be automatically renewed. You made a one time purchase of the class and you can watch the class at your convenience.   Warning: Any company that charges you a low dollar trial and then auto-renews your card at a much higher price are frauds and should be avoided!" I want this company to act on the best interest of its customers. I know that these thieves will not refund me any portion of my funds without continued effort on my part. Therefore, I will continue my dispute through my bank and then with attorneys if needed. While I understand that ResumeGenius.com clearly stated terms and conditions for subscription to their services, I still hold that their customer service could be vastly improved by customer notification of montly renewals and/or email receipts for each transaction.  Other monthly subscription services that I have used have had significantly different customer service practices that didn't leave the customer feeling fleeced in the end.

I called to cancel as soon as i realized there had been a pending charge on my credit card. They can check to see that I never intended to use the product after that one day when I subscribed to the trial version (for which I was charged $1.95), because I never logged in. They claim to refund if dis-satisfied.Why don't they have a refund policy for this dis-satisfaction of mine? Genuine businesses like amazon.com have a refund policy for auto renewal of their prime subscription because they don't intend to rip-off customers with witty mechanisms like this.I have made no use of their service for which they charged me $39.95, they can check my login details of the date & time of my log-ins. A good business practice is to have a refund policy. They may prove things by showing their policies in fine print, but that does not make for good business practice. I am one of about 100's of aggrieved customers.I consider myself careful and yet I got scammed.It is a boon that bodies like Revdex.com help consumers fight against such practices.Please check the following link and see how many people have suffered. It is not the just the happy customers and the 5 star reviews that matter. It is the 100's of scammed  customers that need this kind of practice eradicated.Hope for you to help me get this resolved[redacted]

 Same canned response from these clowns - the same one they gave the other people who were ripped off. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE them to charge me $39.95. if they claim that their terms of service was in PLAIN SIGHT, then they are most likely LYING, because I, along with other people, are complaining about the EXACT SAME THING. didn't see anything referring to a $39.95 charge and if they say that its plain view, their web master better fix the problem on the website.....although judging by the number of complaints against them, I would say they are being shady from the start. Give me my $39.95 back u jerks

The business does not clearly state that the auto renew will take effect at hourly increments during the 14th day. The advertisement is for 14 days of service implying that on the 15th day you will be charged. I was charged on the 14th day. This is false advertising. I called to cancel on the 14th day. I should not have been charged.

Should they reactivate the account, the credit card will be charged accordingly.When the customer purchased the account we provided instructions on how to cancel, along with the specific date and time at which the billing cycle would take place.
