For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe business continues to use deceptive language in their responseThis matter has only been rectified by contacting my credit card companyThe credit card company was able to secure a refund for three months of the service Resumes to Go charged me, even though the company said this would be impossible as no refunds are offeredI have received documentation of account cancellation and regarding the refund, but have not yet received a refund to my account as it takes 5-days to postReading through many reviews of Resumes to Go, many individuals have had very similar experiences with the deceptive tacticsI want this complaint to remain to help others avoid these same problems

Hello,When the customer subscribed to our Trial subscription, He/She accepted our terms of agreement which stated that they would be receiving our subscription services and that the Trial would auto-renew into a Monthly subscription on a specific dateOur services are not a one time purchase, but
an ongoing subscriptionThey had the option to cancel at any time during the day trial period to prevent the auto-renewal and in order to avoid future charges.The cancellation process is very simple: Log in > My Account >> Plan Information >>> Cancel This will confirm that the account was successfully canceledThe customer will continue to have access to all of the features of our website until the next month at which time the access will be limited to the features of our Lite Account or Free Account.To download a digital copy of the resume for free they have the option to choose the TEXT format which will not require them to make any paymentsHowever, all other services require a payment as stated above and according to our Terms of Use. This company is very deceitfulThey do NOT clearly state that the consumer will be charged more then the monthly fee until AFTER you put in your credit card and see amount chargedIf you read the google reviews, you will see this is a common theme of complaintsMy bank then charged me an International Transaction Fee due to this company (that is in the USA) uses an international bank to process chargesWhy would any legitimate business do this? The phone number doesn't allow you to talk to a person eitherNo refunds? You have people falling victim to their misleading charges day after dayI don't care what the 'screenshots" say when you orderIf you go to their website and get to the payment screen, it does not state the full amount that will be charged and no refundsThe "tiny" print that you agree to the terms of service does not justify the outlandish charges and unfair business practicesThis business needs to be shut down.

We thought the subscription had been canceledResume Genius refuses to acknowledge that they are billing a monthly subscription fee without notifying the customer with a courtesy emailThere is no question of why a company would choose to do that when so many complaints have been filed in regard to this standard operating procedure of theirs No legitimate business that wants to have a reputable image would refuse to refund monies that they know were paid unknowingly....basically stolen since somehow the account didn't get canceled even though it was done according to their instructions
