Hello, When the customer subscribed to our Trial subscription, He/She accepted our terms of agreement which stated that they would be receiving our subscription services and that the Trial would auto-renew into a Monthly subscription on a specific dateOur services are not a one time purchase,
but an ongoing subscriptionThey had the option to cancel at any time during the day trial period to prevent the auto-renewal and in order to avoid future charges. The cancellation process is very simple: Log in > My Account >> Plan Information >>> Cancel This will confirm that the account was successfully canceledThe customer will continue to have access to all of the features of our website until the next month at which time the access will be limited to the features of our Lite Account or Free Account. To download a digital copy of the resume for free they have the option to choose the TEXT format which will not require them to make any paymentsHowever, all other services require a payment as stated above and according to our Terms of Use. No additional charges will be levied against their credit card as long as the account remains canceledShould they reactivate the account, the credit card will be charged accordingly. When the customer purchased the account we provided instructions on how to cancel, along with the specific date and time at which the billing cycle would take placeWe informed that it needed to be canceled on a timely manner. We recognize that the account is now cancelled, however, the cancellation came after the billing cycle had already occurredThe information regarding our Subscription Service is NOT in fine print and can be located in our Terms of Use, Plan Comparison, Sales Receipt, Plan Information and Alerts. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This business knows that it does not make the terms and conditions clear on the website, it's only in the receipt that they email that it's clear that you've 'subscribed' to a service. On the website it says 'get access for days', $1.99. I didn't read the receipt, why should I it was just acknowledging the $charge. On top of this their 'service' includes sending supposed jobs in your area related to your skill set. The bulk of the job listings are telemarketing and or out of date, there has been nothing related to my field They have a great service for helping you to format your resume for $1.99, the rest is completely bogus and they know they are misleading

Hello,We have checked the customers account linked to the email *** and from what we can see it is a Lite subscription, where no charges have been incurred because the customer did not give their credit card information.The reason why our customers receives an activation

I did not use the site because I did not know I could or that I was paying for itI guess what I am getting at is that it feels like their terms and conditions are a way for them to continue what they have been doing in ast complaints to rip off their client baseI have never encountered a business that was not OK with returning money for something you didn't useFor example did not know I had amazon prime called them up and they refunded me since I never used their service, it took minsI feel like this is how they make their money and and they use there terms and conditions to deny people fair treatmentIf this was a respectable woman they wouldn't mind returned money for someone who didn't use the service, because they didn't do anything to earn the money.

First off my understanding when purchasing the monthly membership was that I will pay $a month The second issue is the total purchase amount of $does not equal $times I was not appropriately charged and the company is refusing to address the issue of charging for an annual membership when I requested a monthly membership and they are not addressing the issue of charging more than the $ I have attempted to resolve the issue with their customer service and these are the steps I have taken and the response received I emailed a screenshot from my credit card provider per the on duty customer service managers request to them showing the overcharge and the response I got was the same response verbatim that they responded to this complaint They did not even read the context of the message or acknowledge the charge over and above an unauthorized pay up front for the entire year charge

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Resume Genius has stated that:"Resume Genius has completed processing the refund for $on February 12:PM ESTYour credit should appear on your account within business days; however, depending upon the practices of your financial institution, the process can take as many as days to show on your credit card or bank statementIf you do not see this credit after business days, you will need to contact your financial institution for further details regarding this transaction."As proof of Resume Genius refunding the transactions, they have attached a generic spreadsheet which appears to show that the items in question have been refunded, then places the onus of obtaining credit for the refund as somehow being the responsibility of my financial institutionI have spoken with my financial institution at length regarding this transaction, and they have stated on multiple occasions that there has not been a charge back/refund processed from Resume Genius.I refuse to accept Resume Genius's response because they continue to egregiously withhold funds for their fraudulent services, and will now seek legal remediation for their actions, and would ask to continue the Revdex.com complaint against them until they actually refund the charges in question in full.
