Thank you for the opportunity to assist with this complaint from *** *** (“***”). We have reviewed our files and our records show that *** signed up to our Resume-Now portal in October 10,
Our portal provides a
14-day full access to its services for the amount of $1.95; afterwards, there is a $weekly fee billed every weeks for a total of a monthly fee of $39.80, that customers may cancel at any times by contacting us. The latter is part of our Terms of Use that all of our customers agree to before creating the account; just like *** had to do before creating this account. Please see the attachment with Resume-Now’s checkout page that validates this information.
On February 18, at 5:03pm, *** contacted our Customer Service team account and requested cancellation of her account as well as reimbursement. We usually do not reimburse for these charges due to the customer’s agreement to them before creating their accounts; however, we want to please our customers as much as possible. Therefore, as of today, the Customer Service team has reimbursed charges for $39.80. Her account has been cancelled and she will not be billed in the future.
Finally, considering that the *** had to agree to our Terms and monthly charges after the 14-day period for ($1.95), we trust this brings light to this complaint and resolves it

Being that the customer provided the correct email addresses, we were able to pull up both accounts that that customer was referring to
For email address ***@hughes.net - account is a Cover Letter Builder subscription which was started April and the customer was charged with $once
For the email address ***@hughes.net - account is under LiveCareer which was started April 10th and the customer was billed $twice
Both accounts are already cancelled and since the customer said that they diidn't know it was supposed to be a monthly subscription if they failed to cancel, although this was clearly stated on the sales page, I went ahead and processed refund of $for the Cover Letter account and refund of $for the Livecareer account
