Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/10/15) */
Thank you for the opportunity to resolve this complaint from [redacted]. We have reviewed our files and our records show that [redacted] signed up for our Resume Builder services on February 3, 2015. The copy online clearly provided...
[redacted] with a choice of full access for 14 days at a discounted rate, which automatically renews to monthly access for a monthly fee, or an annual subscription that is pro-rated at a lower rate per month but which is paid upfront for access to the services all year long. [redacted] chose to accept our offer for 14 day full access, which automatically renews monthly. On the page where [redacted] made that selection, immediately adjacent to the choice of subscriptions, the offer clearly and conspicuously states that the 14 day premium access ''automatically renews at $39.80 per month on the 15th day''. In addition, on the purchase confirmation page it is also clearly disclosed that this subscription will ''begin immediately and renew on February 18, 2015 to our monthly service at $39.80 per month.'' This page also provides information on how [redacted] could cancel before this monthly charge. Finally, [redacted] was also sent an email to the email address provided to us on the same day confirming [redacted]'s access to our services and reiterating one more time that ''Your subscription begins immediately and renews automatically on February 18, 2015 to our recurring monthly service at $39.80 per month.'' Accordingly, on February 18, 2015 [redacted]'s card was charged $39.80 for the applicable month of service.
Although our monthly charges are not refundable, LiveCareer was willing to make an exception for [redacted] and provide her a refund of 4 monthly charge totaling $159.20. Our customer service team refunded [redacted] the amount of $159.20 as of September 30, 2015.
We have attached the product created by [redacted] to this response. The Resume was created on February 3, 2015.
We trust this addresses any concerns you may have.

The response is completely false. I found an email for one of their representatives on a forum where others were complaining about their service and emailed her. Her name is [redacted] B. She found my information and cleared up the problem satisfactorily for the time being. A full month has not passed ** I don't know if the problem is completely solved. For this business to say that they have no records of me is completely false and just reinforces the fact that they are doing shaddey business.

Although the company's explanation deliberately chooses to ignore the fact that I canceled my service the very same day that I signed up for the 14-day subscription, I accept their proposed resolution of refunding me the two months service (a total of $55.60.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did not sign up for this service therefore I expect a full refund of the $180.95. The information was not clear and I never received emails notifying me of this charge/service until I called them about the unapproved charges on July 9.

I only signed up for one time use, not a subscription. I will accept this when the entire amount has been refunded. To date, no money except one $35.80 has posted to my checking account.
