Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2014/03/17) */
Thank you for the opportunity to resolve this complaint from [redacted]. We have reviewed our files and our records show that [redacted] sharing the same address as [redacted], signed up for our My Perfect Resume services...

on February 6, 2014 (The attached resume made by [redacted] includes the same address that [redacted] provided on this complaint). The copy online clearly provided [redacted] with a choice of full access for 14 days at a discounted rate, which automatically renews to monthly access for a monthly fee, or an annual subscription that is pro-rated at a lower rate per month but which is paid upfront for access to the services all year long. [redacted] chose to accept our offer for 14 day full access, which automatically renews monthly. On the page where [redacted] made that selection, immediately adjacent to the choice of subscriptions, the offer clearly and conspicuously states that the 14 day premium access ''automatically renews at $35.80 per month on the 15th day''. In addition, on the purchase confirmation page it is also clearly disclosed that this subscription will ''begin immediately and renew on February 21, 2014 to our monthly service at $35.80 per month.'' This page also provides information on how [redacted] could cancel before this monthly charge. Finally, [redacted] was also sent an email to the email address provided to us on the same day confirming [redacted]'s access to our services and reiterating one more time that ''Your subscription begins immediately and renews automatically on February 21, 2014 to our recurring monthly service at $35.80 per month.'' Accordingly, on February 21, 2014, [redacted]'s card, which [redacted] provided, was charged $35.80 for the applicable month of service.
Although our monthly charges are not refundable, LiveCareer is willing to make an exception for [redacted] and provide her a refund of 1 monthly charge totaling $35.80. Our customer service team refunded [redacted] the amount of $35.80 on February 26, 2014.
We trust this addresses any concerns you may have.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 11, 2014/03/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I can show you my bank statement. There is NO credit for 35.80. I was never given a refund!
Final Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2014/03/27) */
Our customer service team looked into this issue and discovered there was a problem with the initial refund. As such, the refund was re-processed on March 25, 2014 and [redacted] should receive her refund 2-3 days from that date.
We trust this resolves this matter.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/01/29) */
Thank you. They have resolved my issue. I think that you should be aware that when you sign up on my resume, at the very end it said if you are interested in joining a membership. If you decline, they still put you on it but don't tell you until you look at your receipt, in little words, of course(I looked after this incident). It's just deceiving. You click no and they still put you some monthly membership. Thank you for your time and help.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/10/05) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am not accepting the response until we receive our money back. We have not received the refund of $79.60.
I do not agree with their response to my complaint. They wrote down the wrong dates, plus it is false that I did not close out my account. I did close my account within 9 days. I have it all documented. After closing I was unable to access my account. This company should be shut down. Hopefully Revdex.com will watch this company closely. We did NOT receive the 79.60.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/10/12) */
Thank you again for the opportunity to resolve this complaint from [redacted].
As previously mentioned, our monthly charges are not refundable. However, we value our customers here at LiveCareer and want to do all that we can to resolve any issues they may have. As such, our customer service team has provided [redacted] with 2 refunds in the amount of $39.80, processed on September 23, 2015 and on September 30, 2015, respectively. As of September 30, 2015, [redacted] has received a refund of 2 charges, for a total refund amount of $79.80. If [redacted] is not in receipt of these funds, she should contact her financial institution.
We trust this resolves this issue.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/10/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The reason for not accepting this resolution is because I have been paid for only 2 months when they have taken 3 months. If you look back in the first complaint information, it explains that I was waiting for a payment from them and asking for the rest of the money back, a total of 3 payments of 39.80 each.
LiveCareer has paid 2 months. They still owe me a month (39.80).
Thank you

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/05/19) */
Thank you for the opportunity to resolve this complaint from [redacted]. We have reviewed our files and our records show that [redacted] signed up for our Resume Builder services on September 11, 2014. The copy online clearly provided...

[redacted] with a choice of full access for 14 days at a discounted rate, which automatically renews to monthly access for a monthly fee, or an annual subscription that is pro-rated at a lower rate per month but which is paid upfront for access to the services all year long. [redacted] chose to accept our offer for 14 day full access, which automatically renews monthly. On the page where [redacted] made that selection, immediately adjacent to the choice of subscriptions, the offer clearly and conspicuously states that the 14 day premium access ''automatically renews at $39.80 per month on the 15th day''. In addition, on the purchase confirmation page it is also clearly disclosed that this subscription will ''begin immediately and renew on September 26, 2014 to our monthly service at $39.80 per month.'' This page also provides information on how [redacted] could cancel before this monthly charge. Finally, [redacted] was also sent an email to the email address provided to us on the same day confirming [redacted]'s access to our services and reiterating one more time that ''Your subscription begins immediately and renews automatically on September 26, 2014 to our recurring monthly service at $39.80 per month.'' Accordingly, on September 26, 2014 [redacted]'s card was charged $39.80 for the applicable month of service.
Although our monthly charges are not refundable, LiveCareer was willing to make an exception for [redacted] and provide her a refund of 3 monthly charges totaling $39.80. Our customer service team refunded [redacted] the amount of $119.40 as of May 13, 2015.
We trust this addresses any concerns you may have.
