I called this company when I had problems with my kitchen sinkI called them on Monday morning and I spoke to the customer service person who will take and schedule the callI asked the person how much would they charge to unclog my sinkHe said, that there will be no upfront charge until they assess the problem (make is sounds like they are cheap compare to other plumbing company but they are not!) He said, I will be scheduled for 8:00am the next day (Tuesday) and that a technician will be there at my houseI waited for the technician to arrive at 8:00am but nobody showed up so I went to work l have my son at home to open the door for the technician just in case he will show up The Technician arrived at 8:(mins late) and work on my sink for less than mins and charge me $for less than mins work removing the grease from my sinkI called the Uptown Plumbing an asked them why they charge me too much for less than mins workThe person refer me to the General Manager Mark [redacted] This guy called me at work and tells me that they did not do anything wrong that the price is reasonable and that I should not complainI told him about the entire scenario and I told him that it's very expensive for less than mins jobHe sounds like its my fault and that my son should have called me when their Tech is telling him the priceTo me, I think they are taking advantage of the situation because I was not there to tell the Technician not to work on my sink because the quote was very expensiveThe General Manager Mark [redacted] is not a good person to talk to on the phoneNot a good listener and I have to tell him to let me speak He should not be in that position if he cannot act like a professional to deal customer's feedback So overall, I am very disappointed with this company and will not recommend this to my company and friendsNEVER use Uptown Plumbing!!!

During our annual HVAC inspection under the Happy Home program a couple of concerns were identified which led us to a discussion with the technician regarding repair versus replacementThe technician was very thorough and showed us the issues he was concerned aboutWe decided replacement was appropriateOur and their schedule was such that they were able to install the new furnace the following day during very mild November weatherThey also offered a special promotion so we replaced the air conditioner as well The workers were all prompt, respectful and competentIf they ran into any glitches they discussed them with us and did a good job of problem solving the issues We were very pleased with the whole process

As HappyHomeowner club members, and owners of a year old home, we have had more than our share of learning experiences with our house and plumbing, water heater, furnace, air conditionerToday was another great experienceAn original pipe had deteriorated and resulted in water in our bathroom wallBo came to check it out and within a few hours we now have the plumbing repaired, preventative measures taken, are fully up to code on what was an original part of the homeBo was another in the line of very knowledgable and capable Uptown employeesHe was professional, efficient, and wonderfully personable, working with me AND my very curious kids! I had a great experience with Uptown heating and plumbingSean and Chad came out and spent several hours reviewing our water heater, furnace, and ACThey took time to answer every question I could come up withI feel much more knowledgeable about my home now If you plan to work with Uptown, know that they provide a high quality service, which comes at a high cost

Today Bob [redacted] of Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling repaired our gas fired garage heater He was prompt, friendly, courteous, and clearly explained the technical issues in a way I could understand them He successfully repaired the heater and we are delighted

I had Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling come out to our house on 3/to repair a pipe on the outside of the house where the sump pump empties into a drainage tile to move water away from the house The repair was a fairly simple fix to attach a couple of new plastic parts to the existing pipe and attach to our drain tile system This was a fairly simple repair that I probably should have taken care of myself, but was out of town and it was fairly urgent to get fixed Note that my complaint does not have to do with the work completed, but with the exorbitant price they charged for the work The technician was at the house for a total of hour and minutes, which included a minute run to get partsHe quoted a price for the work of $and unfortunately my wife agreed to the workI was appalled at the cost of the repair, based on the fact that it was about $of parts and minutes of labor to repair itIf you even take a very high end plumber's rate of $150/hour and round it up to hours, this work still should have cost only half ($320) of what they charged us I called the company to discuss and was told repeatedly that they are a premium services company who is not for everyone They were not willing to work with me at all on the price because we had agreed to the fixed bid They offered a $coupon towards future work, which I declined as I will never use their services again I learned a lesson the hard way here about not agreeing to work until you have challenged and questioned exactly what they are going to do My point in writing this is to hopefully prevent someone else from falling into their predatory pricing tactics in the future Buyer beware on the cost involved with working with Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling

Heating system tune up very professional, arrived on time and work very competently and cleanly

Michael [redacted] from Uptown was great! He addressed the cause of the plumbing fixture issue immediately, and did the research while still at my home to find the replacementHe was proactive in setting the follappointment, friendly, quick, and knowledgeable

Uptown did a wonderful job putting in a new boiler & tank to replace our year old boiler Professional, courteous & thoughtful, Rob made a complex set of decisions understandable The crew of Justin & Wayne (and Mikan) started at 6:AM and worked until PM on a Friday night to make sure all was working well This winter will be the true test but so far their dedication to making it work it has been impressive Tom Helling 11/7/

All I can say is AWESOMEI had requested a new toilet to be installed and I wanted something that would work better than the one I hadKasie, the customer service rep took my call and was greatShe told me about the Happy Home club and was able to wave trip charges, get my furnace and AC tuned up and a nice price on the new toiletShe relayed all the wants I had told her so when the Technician Emanuel came to install, he had several options ready for meHe even showed me something that was just as good as what I asked for that was LESS expensiveTalk about building customer loyalty and trust Emanuel was extremely professional, he was on time to the minute and I even got a text when he was on his way so I could be ready for himLove itI've done a few plumbing jobs myself in the past, but Emanuel made me really understand why you hire a professionalHe replaced a bad valve, the feed line and got the new toilet in under hours, all while keeping me informed of the process and even letting my daughter watch from time to timeI swear my bathroom is cleaner than when it started too (not counting the toilet) In total, Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is now my go to plumber and HVAC placeI'm so happy

Chad [redacted] came to my house for a furnace and water heater tune up He was extremely thorough, but I really appreciated all of the education in home maintenance He was courteous, clean, and extremely professional I had another company coming to tune up a 2nd furnace and I have cancelled this visit as it would not be able to compare to the service I had today

Chad [redacted] performed a cleaning and tuof our old boiler Thursday, Oct6, He was very thorough as he checked out the operation of the boiler after his cleaning and adjustmentsHe left me feeling confident in the safe operation of the boiler with no trace of carbon monoxide or other unsafe conditionsWhen done, he cleaned the area thoroughlyChad impressed me as a positive, intelligent, ethical, up-right person who knows his tradeHe is a credit to his employerI cannot recommend him too highly

This is regarding a recent water heater installation service I had with Uptown company on April 27, Invoice # is [redacted] I called and requested a service on Apr because my water heater's pilot light kept going off and we got no hot water Uptown then sent me a technician (name's Sean) and we decided to have a new water heater installed (because he said the water heater is years old and needs to be replaced) He said the cost for the installation is $and he mentioned something about a buy one get one deal which includes installing a 2-gallon expansion, and that after the job is completed it will be up to code We agreed to have him do the job, the installation was completed between 10:30am to 12:30pm After I wrote him the check, he apologized for not able to give me a hard copy receipt/invoice at the spot, but promised I shall receive a proper invoice via email, plus details about setting up an inspection from the city Then, he mentioned about some pipes not

We have used Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling in the past and I finally decided to write a review Your service tech Austin [redacted] was very knowledgeable and helpful He explained everything and fixed the problem I would recommend Uptown Plumbing anytime

On a routine chemy furnace was found to be in very bad shapeUptown diagnosed the Problem and was able to schedule a repair and replacement he next day

My first experience with Uptown was very positive I initially received a flyer in the mail for an AC Tuand Water Heater Tuall at a good price compared to the competition The Field Tech that came out to my house was very professional and had years of expertise He was courteous and appeared comfortable as I asked him a variety of questions regarding the work being doneWhile the cost for replacement parts were on the higher end, as long as a company is willing to work with their customers on price then I am fine in justifying the difference it may be in procuring the parts myself I highly recommend this company, and especially Bob Dof their field team, for anyone in need of HVAC work
