I called this company when I had problems with my kitchen sinkI called them on Monday morning and I spoke to the customer service person who will take and schedule the callI asked the person how much would they charge to unclog my sinkHe said, that there will be no upfront charge until they assess the problem (make is sounds like they are cheap compare to other plumbing company but they are not!) He said, I will be scheduled for 8:00am the next day (Tuesday) and that a technician will be there at my houseI waited for the technician to arrive at 8:00am but nobody showed up so I went to work l have my son at home to open the door for the technician just in case he will show up The Technician arrived at 8:(mins late) and work on my sink for less than mins and charge me $for less than mins work removing the grease from my sinkI called the Uptown Plumbing an asked them why they charge me too much for less than mins workThe person refer me to the General Manager Mark ***This guy called me at work and tells me that they did not do anything wrong that the price is reasonable and that I should not complainI told him about the entire scenario and I told him that it's very expensive for less than mins jobHe sounds like its my fault and that my son should have called me when their Tech is telling him the priceTo me, I think they are taking advantage of the situation because I was not there to tell the Technician not to work on my sink because the quote was very expensiveThe General Manager Mark *** is not a good person to talk to on the phoneNot a good listener and I have to tell him to let me speak He should not be in that position if he cannot act like a professional to deal customer's feedback So overall, I am very disappointed with this company and will not recommend this to my company and friendsNEVER use Uptown Plumbing!!!

My first experience with Uptown was very positive I initially received a flyer in the mail for an AC Tuand Water Heater Tuall at a good price compared to the competition
The Field Tech that came out to my house was very professional and had years of expertise He was courteous and appeared comfortable as I asked him a variety of questions regarding the work being doneWhile the cost for replacement parts were on the higher end, as long as a company is willing to work with their customers on price then I am fine in justifying the difference it may be in procuring the parts myself
I highly recommend this company, and especially Bob Dof their field team, for anyone in need of HVAC work
