Once again we were pleased with service from Uptown Ben Swas the service provider who did a great job of explaining the current condition of both our Water Heater and our A/C unit Water Heater was great but we'll be saving for a new A/C within the year!

Dustin was excellent he replaced my garbage disposal and gave me options with a list of the choices and the price difference and the difference between the choices He did a great job and even noticed that my sink was separated from my granite one one side and sealed it He did an excellent job

UPTOWN plumbing and heating have always provided excellent service and their employees are very knowledgeable and helpful

Mike *** from Uptown Plumbing Heating and Cooling worked on a plumbing system that had a valve behind the toilet sheared off He was very efficient and now everything works great

Ben was very knowledgeable and thorough in his assessment in his inspection of my furnace10/would use again

The process started with a visit to their website and within a minute I received a chat from Uptown Plumbing & Heating and within a few minutes after describing our need, I received a phone call and we were on their docket for same day serviceSean West was our technician and he is awesomePrior to his arrival, I added items to our need list and when I shared them with Sean, he noted he has the time to take care of all of our repairsHe explained the process in detail and when he completed the repairs, he took the time to walk through all threeIn addition to getting the repairs done right the first time, his listening skills are 2nd to noneBottom line, Sean and Uptown Plumbing and heating are our go to people for all future needsHe also brought up their fall and spring service (boiler, AC and draining hot water heater) and w/out a blink we signed upI have been talking about a do it yourself drain the hot water tank (never done) and now it will be done twice a yearCan't say enough about the level of service and we are a raving fan!

They recommended unnecessary work and then did price gouging for the unnecessary work or expanded the scope to charge more
We have been using Uptown for their Happy Home service where we paid a monthly fee and twice a year they tuned our furnace and A/C while also doing an inspection of our 101-year-old homeWe have been a customer for the past or so yearsI had been very happy with them for good customer service by the support team and the techniciansDuring last month's furnace tune-up, they recommended $(for the band-aid) up to $16,(for the platinum) to replace our water heater, replace our gas pipes and fix our cracked stand pipeBid seemed high so I called a highly recommended, licensed and bonded 30-year old company for a second opinionWe don't need a new water heater and only need spot fixes on the gas linesTotal for the gas lines and stand pipe by the new company: $Needless to say, we canceled our Uptown Happy Home serviceI don't know what has changed at Uptown but proceed with great caution and GET A SECOND OPINION!

Dwight was very dedicated to complete the tune up completely He provided the service on three furnaces

I hired this company to install a tankless water heaterPerson who did the install is a master plumber who has installed "dozens" of tankless water heaters across various brandsPlumber installed tankless water heater as per the manual, but did not read the informational pamphlet that was included in the box that specifically stated air needed to be allowed into drain tube to allow for proper drainagePlumber ran a drain tube straight from condensation tank without allowing for airThis caused condensation tank to backup and overflow 1-days after install resulting in electrical components inside the water heater to be exposed to waterI have tried working with the merchant and they will not refund any portion of the laborI have supporting documentation from the manufacturer of the water heater as well to support these claimsA master plumber with this level of experience should know how to solve these issues in the field

They showed up during the time that they said they wouldI received an email notice with a picture and info of the tech that would be doing the workThe tech was efficient, professional, and politeThis is the second time that I have used Uptown PlumbingThe first time (a year ago) there was an issue with scheduling, but this time there were no issues at all

They came out for an annual cheof our boilerTech told me there was a carbon monoxide leak after detecting ppm of CO inside the housing of the boilerHe told me he would have to “red tag” the boiler and shut it off unless I replaced the seal for $650-$I refused to have the work done and told him I would get a second opinion from another companyThen he had a second Hero tech come out to compare readingsUltimately they could not get consistent readings so they said the boiler was fineI did not get the impression he was going to have another tech come out to double check his readings if I had agreed to go ahead with the “repair.” I have seen several other similar reports on the NextDoor app about Hero trying to scare customers into getting unnecessary and expensive work done

First time using Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling and we have found our new exclusive plumbers They sent Sean *** and we could not have asked for a better expert We were extremely pleased with the courteous service and a job well done!

I had been having an ongoing problem with an unusual situation with my second floor furnace When Josh came yesterday, he took the time to analyse what was going on, went to get some replacement parts to fix the issue, and made a point of rechecking the situation before he left to be sure all was well Plus, he explained well what he thought was going on, what he had done, even showing me before and after photos of his work And he was very pleasant, too

Today Davis Pratt from Uptown Plumbing made a service call to fix a leaky shower faucetHe showed up on time and went right to workHe was honest and straight to the pointBecause of the age of our faucet and the water quality in our area he felt that his best efforts would not eliminate the constant drip we're experiencingAfter a long conversation with the young man I had to agree with his professional assessmentHis time and expertise was what I paid for and he deliveredUptown deserves a pat on the back for hiring people who put the customer first and not a quick sale

Sean Tdid an excellent job resolving our cooling issues in JuneHe was thorough, considerate of providing the best advise about the age and condition of our systems without a hard sell, which I greatly appreciated!
