Uptown is great! My wife noticed a small leak in the ceiling of our recently remodeled bathroom and so I called Uptown to have one of their plumbers come to diagnose and fix the issue Now, in hindsight, it makes perfect sense to me, but I was initially pretty surprised by how polite and cheerful Shannon, the Uptown employee who took my call, was in getting the appointment scheduled Just a nice person who clearly takes pride in her job and does it well.\r\n\r\nLuckily, they had a plumber available the same day and so the plumber, Bo, showed up a few hours later I suppose all I can really say is, wow, like the girl on the phone, Bo was extremely polite and took quite a bit of time to diagnose the somewhat unclear issue properly As it turned out, a toilet (not the shower as we suspected) on the floor above and a bit over hadn't been installed properly and started leaking Bo pinpointed the issue for us and clearly told us how it should be fixed and the charge to do so As the charge was reasonable we told him to proceed \r\n\r\nAfter an hour or so I came back to check in on Bo and he was finishing up Embarrassingly, he was actually cleaning the toilet better than it was before he had arrived I told him that I was impressed by what a nice job he was doing and he told me the story about how, when he interviewed with Uptown a couple of years previously, he was asked many questions about how much he believed in giving customers "world class service." He said he was surprised by these questions but excited to be part of a company that put customers first He said that keeping customers happy is a core part of Uptown's philosophy and that it makes working at Uptown a lot of fun Bo asked two or three times to confirm that I was happy with everything and then made clear that they stand behind their work and that I should call if there are any future issues Who expects this kind of service? Not me.\r\n\r\nI've had quite a bit of work done in our home, and I am probably more price conscious than most That being said, Uptown's prices are particularly reasonable given the quality of work and first-class service.\r\n\r\nIn any case, it's rare to run into a company that does business like Uptown They are good people who treat customers as they'd want to be treated and do top-notch work for a fair price Importantly, they stand behind it \r\n

Bo and Austin did a fantastic jobThey were personable, professional, and conscientiousThey did the job right the first time and answered any questionsWe would not hesitate to call on them again or recommend them to others

Dwight was very dedicated to complete the tune up completely He provided the service on three furnaces

Mike *** from Uptown Plumbing Heating and Cooling worked on a plumbing system that had a valve behind the toilet sheared off He was very efficient and now everything works great

I am an Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling customer having had them do plumbing, heating and cooling work at my house Most recently, Allan Motz, a service technician, came out and "tuned up" my AC for the summer He was courteous and knowledgeable, explaining what he did and what he found In my several experiences with various Uptown technicians, this has always been the experience I would recommend Uptown to others

The process started with a visit to their website and within a minute I received a chat from Uptown Plumbing & Heating and within a few minutes after describing our need, I received a phone call and we were on their docket for same day serviceSean West was our technician and he is awesomePrior to his arrival, I added items to our need list and when I shared them with Sean, he noted he has the time to take care of all of our repairsHe explained the process in detail and when he completed the repairs, he took the time to walk through all threeIn addition to getting the repairs done right the first time, his listening skills are 2nd to noneBottom line, Sean and Uptown Plumbing and heating are our go to people for all future needsHe also brought up their fall and spring service (boiler, AC and draining hot water heater) and w/out a blink we signed upI have been talking about a do it yourself drain the hot water tank (never done) and now it will be done twice a yearCan't say enough about the level of service and we are a raving fan!

This place is the BIGGEST SCAM ever! They used to be Uptown Plumbing and are now HeroWhy didn't I do my due diligence? Read the reviews online and you will see lots of folks with my same complaintsThey get you with a $tune up postcard or online offer and then come up with hundreds of dollars worth of repairs to your "unsafe" systemThey will also pitch you on their monthly maintenance plan which is an excuse for them to come back in months to "clean" your system and come up with hundreds of more dollars worth of repairsOf course, all the repairs are needed for your system as it is at the end of its lifespan and it's "unsafe"I checked the parts they wanted to replace and their markup is well in excess of over 400% for just the parts, not including the labor Do your self a favor, build a relationship with a small neighborhood, reputable company and use them And your already smarter than me - because you are reading the reviews

Once again we were pleased with service from Uptown Ben Swas the service provider who did a great job of explaining the current condition of both our Water Heater and our A/C unit Water Heater was great but we'll be saving for a new A/C within the year!

Justin and his team just installed a new boiler in my home They were efficient, explained in detail what they had done, cleaned up (leaving my basement cleaner than when they started) The entire process was a great experience, from the furnace tune up yesterday, explaining the problem with the furnace to the installation today I am so impressed especially since *** *** *** had done a tuneup the end of May and did not find the COleak Everyone at Uptown has been very pleasant and helpful and has gone beyond what I expected I'd give them an A+ I have already referred them to a friend
