Uptown Plumbing's 4x a year furnace and A/C maintenance is a great value! Also, the technicial, Joe V was extremely knowledgable and courtious

I believe I was grossly overcharged
they were here on 3/3/re: complaint of the heat won't turn off they said it may be a zone valve, "I really can't tell, but if it is, it would be $to replace."
on 3/5/they were here, in fact, to replace the zone valve - $899.00!!

Good Company We had them do many different projects

I wanted to leave a ZERO star rating for HERO but the Revdex.com site doesn't offer itI had HERO out for an anual tune upThey did what seemed to be a very quick maintenance on my boiler and proceeded to tell me that my seal was crumbling and leaking about 2ppm CHe stated that most other companies would "red tag me" which caused me to be fearful of having other techs out for a second opinion!
He told me I could "try to do a reseal on it but it would cost about $800, often doesn't work and has no warranty so I would be better off putting my money into a new boilerHe also said "he's seen the crumbling seal completely fail in as little as a couple weeks" causing more fear and urgency! I scheduled with their "Engineer" who was very charming but really a fast pitch salesmen!
I am so glad I trusted my instincts and went on nextdoor to read about others opinions of this company and their recomendations of reliable onesI called two other contractors to get a second and third opinionI am having it resealed next week for $with a high heat silicone that the contractor states he's "never had a problem with in all the years he's been in the business"He also told me as did the other contractor that I have a good boiler and all the parts and components of my boiler are replaceable and repairable and that they see no issue in expecting me to get another years out of my boiler!!!!

Had repairman visit for a furnace and water heater tuneupHe was prompt, courteous and thouroughWalked me through what he was doing and left the site as he found it I'd call Uptown again for service

Sean was very polite and helpful in talking through what was going on with my AC and Hot Water heater

Scheduled appointment was right on time, courteous and great work done on our water heater and boiler

Niall Ebbs was our technician and he did a wonderful jobHe was polite, friendly, clean but more importantly fixed our furnace that has not been operating correctly since we built our house years agoHe was knowledgeable and kept me informed throughoutAnd it all cost me nothing as we are on their service planI would recommend Uptown to anybody

We had a cracked angle PVC joint from our sump pump and Eric looked at various options and was able to implement the most efficient and cost effective one Very pleased with work and cost Will definitely use Uptown Plumbing for future plumbing needs

Chad did a great job He was timely and efficient I will ask for him every time I schedule a boiler inspection Unlike his predecessor on the job (also from Uptown) he was there to provide SERVICE not make HIS day with an inflated bill which included services which I do not believe warranted the amount he wanted to charge A complaint reduced the invoice by about 50% but even then the 'reason' for the work (input water valve had mysteriously stopped working - hmmmm - whenever did that happen before) was suspect and I will always have a suspicion with regard to motives of 'techs' Uptown sends out Note that I have done over $20,of business with Uptown yet one bad experience will forever tarnish my opinion of them Mr *** should be more attentive and not try to employ a new 'plan' without making sure it meets the business model that he used for so many years to build a reputation of reliability at a reasonable price

They went downhill very fast for meI was a member of their happy home club based on senior technician good first visitSecond visit was by a newbie who did a crap job and left me with no hot water based on him fumbling around on my H2O system to run a diagnostic test [long story]Now I had an issue with my humidification system on my furnace, made appt Monday and got call two hours before their service window on Tuesday that they are putting my appt on hold since it is not an emergencyI know what you are thinkingit's not that badWell here is the icing on the cake - when I called to reschedule, I was offered a first appointment in mid-January Today is November 20, I am done with Uptown or Hero or whatever they call themselvesMore like a Zero to meCrappy, crappy service from these clowns
