They came out for an annual cheof our boilerTech told me there was a carbon monoxide leak after detecting ppm of CO inside the housing of the boilerHe told me he would have to “red tag” the boiler and shut it off unless I replaced the seal for $650-$I refused to have the work done and told him I would get a second opinion from another companyThen he had a second Hero tech come out to compare readingsUltimately they could not get consistent readings so they said the boiler was fineI did not get the impression he was going to have another tech come out to double check his readings if I had agreed to go ahead with the “repair.” I have seen several other similar reports on the NextDoor app about Hero trying to scare customers into getting unnecessary and expensive work done

Uptown recently completed installing new furnace and a/cFrom scheduling initial consult appointment thru install, everything has been handled with professionalism and without issueTechnicians were polite and communication throughout the project was excellentI would highly recommend them

Our kitchen faucet broke on 7/20/and needed replacing We bought our replacement faucet and contacted Uptown Plumbing on 7/21/because of the Revdex.com rating Unfortunately, our experience with them was disastrousTheir plumber flooded our basement and they refused to pay for the clean up Here are three major complaints:
Pushing unnecessary products and services
Once their plumber, Jason saw that we had already purchased the Moen replacement faucet, he told me that he could reduce their installation price by $from $to $ However, he would not let us use the $online coupon that their scheduler said we could use That means he was only giving us $off by supplying our own $parts I agreed for him to go ahead since we needed the work urgently

Yesterday the plumber quickly fixed the bathroom old problem of not enough waterThe shower head had enough waterHowever, I notice when it shut off, water dripped, and I thought it would stop soonBut after a day, there are still water dripping from the shower head
