Just had Ben and Tom from UptownPlumbing come out to look at my air conditioner and furnaceBoth were extremely polite and professionalThey took the time to explain the issues and made sure I understood my optionsI am not savvy in the HVAC language, but they were able to explain the situation to me so that I could understand and make an educated decisionWould highly recommend them!

Uptown Plumbing and heating is one of the best companies I have ever worked with They are first rate in ever thing that they do in my opinion If things aren't correct they will do everything in their power to make it correct

Terrible customer service and serious concerns that we were tricked into purchasing a $13,boiler we did not actually needWe scheduled Hero to come out to do a regular boiler tune-upThey reportedly found "unsafe" carbon monoxide levels, despite the fact that our carbon monoxide monitor is located right next to our boilerThey red tagged the furnace and said it couldn't be operated after bringing in a second opinion-- from their own companyI should have known better and requested by own second opinion, but as a new homeowner with a baby in the house and weather dropping below freezing, the fear tactic worked and we purchased the boilerThe installation seemed okay except for the fact that they ran a pipe right in front of the boiler so there is no way the cover can actually be lifted up for when we need to have routine maintenance doneWhen we had the city inspector come and told them about our experience, he informed us that there was no actual code related to how many PPM

Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling, Incinstalled a new high-efficiency boiler & water heater and added baseboard heating to our finished atticThey were efficient, totally professional, pleasant to deal with and did a great job all aroundAfter we'd had them in for the estimate on a Thursday our old (very old) boiler went out on SaturdayI called and let them know we wanted to go ahead with their bid and they quickly had a technician out to our house to get our old boiler back up and running within minutes of my call, and at no charge to boot since we were going ahead with their bid on the bigger jobEvery single interaction has been excellent - scheduler, estimator, office staff and the 5-man crewThanks

Ali was very helpful during the Heater checkup we had w Hero Plumbing and Cooling He took time to explain the options for additional service and also showed me how to do a check on the room heating radiators He was able to fix one of the issues we hadThe other one we decided to address later Overall a very helpful and positive service call from Ali

Despite being a "happy home club" customer for a while, Uptown Heating and Cooling has let us down for the last timeThis year, our "happy home club" AC inspection didn't come until August despite temperatures hitting the 90s in JuneWe've also had two occasions within the last two months to need emergency serviceIn both cases, Uptown's "Fast Service, Hours" and "Fast, same day service" was non-existentIn both of our emergencies, we ended up calling other services for help and received same day serviceThe first emergency involved a leaking toilet that resulted in a collapsing ceiling belowThe earliest Uptown could send someone was days later (apparently the priority service guaranteed by being a club member doesn't really exist)The second emergency involved the on demand water heater that serves both our hot water and our radiant heatThis is the system that was supposedly inspected each year as part of our "happy home club" heating inspectionWe called three times on Sunday when we discovered we had no heat and didn't get a call back until p.mSunday nightThe Uptown Heating caller still couldn't guarantee service that eveningThank goodness it's not the middle of JanuaryWe've now learned that our water heater had three internal filters that had not been inspected or cleaned as part of our "happy home club" maintenanceThe resulting water clog may have affected our ignition system, which is being replacedNeedless to say, these happy home club members are no longer happy

All I can say is AWESOMEI had requested a new toilet to be installed and I wanted something that would work better than the one I hadKasie, the customer service rep took my call and was greatShe told me about the Happy Home club and was able to wave trip charges, get my furnace and AC tuned up and a nice price on the new toiletShe relayed all the wants I had told her so when the Technician Emanuel came to install, he had several options ready for meHe even showed me something that was just as good as what I asked for that was LESS expensiveTalk about building customer loyalty and trust
Emanuel was extremely professional, he was on time to the minute and I even got a text when he was on his way so I could be ready for himLove itI've done a few plumbing jobs myself in the past, but Emanuel made me really understand why you hire a professionalHe replaced a bad valve, the feed line and got the new toilet in under hours, all while keeping me informed of the process and even letting my daughter watch from time to timeI swear my bathroom is cleaner than when it started too (not counting the toilet)
In total, Uptown Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is now my go to plumber and HVAC placeI'm so happy

Dwight from Uptown Plumbing and Heating was courteous, thorough and did superb work on my heating system checkup I absolutely recommend calling Uptown and asking for him to do your service work

Sean did an excellent jobHe was kind, caring and courteous
He was also respectful of my needs based on what I could afford

Uptown replaced my furnace a while ago, and I woke up this morning and it was not working correctly I called Uptown at 7am this morning, and they had a service repout here by 10:30am Chris Farmer was the Service Technician and he did a thorough inspection and found that the problem was something that I had done He fixed it and everything else checked out fine He could have charged me a service charge since it was my error, but he did not He said it would be no charge since I had just recently bought the furnace from them, and he said he wanted to thank me for being a valued customer This was great customer service and I recommend Uptown as a company that takes care of it's customers

I currently have a service plan with Uptown Plumbing and Heating After my only furnace went out yesterday they sent a technician who in hours couldn't get the issue resolved, but bought and replaced the wrong part which did not fix the issue They then sent a second technician since the first tech couldn't resolve the issue He identified the problem in minutes but they can't come back out to fix it for many more days meanwhile it is -degrees and my pipes are going to burst Meanwhile they charged me $to not fix my problem Terrible service and terrible customer support Would not recommend to anyone

I've been using Uptown Heating & Cooling for the last couple years Each time I've had someone come to the house for my Happy Home Owner check-ups the techs have been very professional and accommodatingThis morning, I had the pleasure of meeting Chad *** Chad was happy to explain all the steps he goes go through to ensure a thorough furnace and hot water heater inspection I was very impressed with his willingness for me to watch & learn and get to know a little about himselfChad is a great asset to the Uptown team! very prompt, polite, fixed the problem quickly, was stunned about how inexpensive the fix was-will absolutely call them again if need not used to getting such good service!!!

Excellent experience As a first time customer, I was very impressed They’re communication was thorough and timely Not only did I receive a confirmation call the day before the appointment, but also a text the morning of the appointment along with the technician’s name and photo Dave, our technician, was prompt, professional, and very personable He finished the job thoughly and quickly

When my Inspection company failed to note several plumbing & venting issues I was left with illegally vented furnace/hot water heater, low water flow and unable to take a shower for the 1st 6wks of owning my homeWith no help from them or the home warranty that was part of my purchase agreement I was at my wits end

On Thursday morning Daniel & Austin showed up exactly as scheduled and got to workAfter they had conducted their walk through & testing they gave me a list of issue they had foundSome I was aware of and some I was notThey explained exactly what was wrong, why it was wrong, and what they could do to fix itThey gave me options to choose from for work they could perform with no pressure to purchaseI choose my option and they started workThey kept me updated through out the day of their progress and when they were completeI arrived home to a clean house w/no trace of them being there except all my issues where gone!!
I have now recommended them to every person I work with and all my family membersI believe I have found a company that I can trust and will use them for any plumbing, heating, and cooling needs I have in the future
