this response because:
Well.. I would guess that when you have a busines that has an "F" rating with the Revdex.com and over 1,100 complaints with the Revdex.com it would only hurt them even more with an lame response. It I find it interesting that they had no problem responding to the Revdex.com but would not return any of my 9 phone calls , or any of the 3 scheduled call backs. Again, very , very poor busines ...

Due to a high volume of orders, we decided to deliver our best designers choice that the recipient would surely love. We wanted to make sure that your effort will be recognize in this special day. To ensure that your loved one receives their special arrangement, there may be a few alterations. Due to the volume of the orders for Mother's day, we ran out of mug which is hard good for your chosen arrangement, we will substitute it with a vase. As mentioned, this order was placed on the website and we are unable to determine how much the florist needs before hand to make and deliver the fruit basket ordered. All fruit baskets are for next day delivery, not done same day since the florist needs time to get fresh fruit. We did request for additional money to have the fruit basket delivered and the customer refused. We were going to cancel the order but the customer accepted the additional $11.00 needed. Since we do not keep the customer's credit card information, once the order was processed, we needed the customer to provide that information which he did. He has a choice to either provide the additional funds or cancel the order. Each florist has their own rules and monies needed, once the order was placed with them. These are affiliated florists and this one is in Hawaii, where all flowers and arrangements are more expensive. CUSTOMER REFUSED DELIVERY. The Avas policy regarding attempted delivery:Attempted Delivery:In the event a delivery attempt was made but the recipient is unavailable, we will do our best to deliver the product to the customer when available. In some cases we may need to charge an additional fee to re-deliver the product depending upon the location. If you choose to cancel the delivery and the order after an attempt has been made to deliver the product ordered, we are only able to issue a refund to you for the cost of the arrangement. My name is [redacted] with the Avas Flowers customer service management and I’m very sorry there was such trouble with this order.  As an apology, I have refunded $20.00 directly back to your card. I have also left the $20 store credit in place if you  will give us another chance.

As mentioned, since the customer has disputed the sale with the bank, we will no longer respond to the complaint and will respond to the bank when contacted by them.

I am rejecting this response because:I want a adjustment for this order as it is a insult to me to say I excepted a agreement .  It doesn't make it right! The flowers were awful and to use this as an excuse is just wrong.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  The entire process with this business was full of deceptions, false statements, and frustration.  It was unfathomable some of the statements, suggestions, and remedies offer by the staff of AVA's.  I will not allow this situation to consume anymore of my time or energy.  I wanted others to be aware of the situation to possibly avoid the frustration I experienced.  A refund of any sort is acceptable to never have to deal with this again.  I take some consolation in the process that hopefully the flowers brightened someone's day just not my designated recepient.
