My name is Chris with Avas Flowers customer service management and I'm very sorry that this arrived in such poor condition. While most of our items are hand delivered from a local shop, anything marked as “Next Day Only” or “Farm Fresh” are delivered directly from the farm via UPS/FedEx. We can...

certainly have a fresh arrangement sent for free. If you let us know what date is best before 4:00 pm EST, we can have a delivery made the next day from Tuesday-Friday. If you would prefer, I could also change this to a full store credit if you wished to order a hand delivered item.

In order for a website order to be processed, the customer "MUST" check our TERMS of SERVICE prior to placing the order. At that time, the customer has the choice of viewing those terms and policies. Whether they read read them or not, they are bound by those terms. The customer MUST approve the acceptance of those terms of service before finalizing the on line order or the order will not be placed.Consumer must review company policies/guarantees: When is the deadline to place an order for it to arrive by a specified date? If something were to happen to your online order, would you be able to receive a full refund or replacement? Read the company policies for returns/exchanges and the fine print associated with your order to understand your rights as a customer of the company. We are located in Mahwah, New Jersey, but we operatenationwide by working with local florists. We also often use FedEx and UPS for delivery, which we will cover inmore detail below.  All of the above mentioned policies are shown within the Avas website.

DeliveryWe cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date for busy floral holidayslike Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, [redacted]tmas, and Valentine's Day. Tomaximize the likelihood of delivery on one of these busy floralholidays, please place your order at least four days in advance. Orders placed within 4 days of Valentines Day and Mother's Day DO NOTHAVE GUARANTEED DELIVERY DATES. Neither cancellations nor refundswill be issued on orders placed during the Valentines Day or MothersDay holidays if the order was placed within 4 days of the holiday,and subsequently delivered within 4 days after the respectiveholiday.

Revdex.com: The main complaint I have is that the business in question did NOT inform me for 4 weeks that the delivery was not made.  Had they informed me asap I could have used a different business that could have guaranteed my flower delivery.  I am embarrassed that my receiving party did not get the order. ..it hurts my reputation!

As per our previous response, which still stands and conveyed to the customers bank too; Mr. [redacted] placed the order on 2/12, 2016 after visiting our website. The customer received an order confirmation via email that also provides a link to our delivery and substitution Policies as published on our website. The customer contacted us on February 12th to express his dissatisfaction on the arrangement that was delivered, claiming for incorrect product, wilted and not filled to value. We apologized immediately and conducted an investigation to resolve this matter. We have requested a picture of the arrangement delivered to corroborate his claim of incorrect and wilted arrangemenr. We never received that photo. Our substitution policy states that the flowers and Products shown online are representative of color scheme, look and feel, overall style, and value rather than a literal interpretation of the delivery. Specific containers and/or flowers will vary in some cases due to designer interpretation, availability, or need to meet our quality standards. While substitutions may be necessary, a great effort will be made to keep the same look and feel of the arrangement, using flowers and products of greater or equal value. Product description: Our Blooming Love Bouquet is a classic arrangement of stunning red roses in a beautiful red vase. The florist used this recipe to fill the order to value; 12 long stem red roses in a red vase w/greens. No baby's breath 10. Substitution Policy: The flowers and Products shown online are representative of color scheme, look and feel, overall style, and value rather than a literal interpretation of the delivery. Specific containers and/or flowers will vary in some cases due to designer interpretation, availability, or need to meet our quality standards. In dish-gardens, blooming plants may be substituted with another type of a blooming plant, while green plants may be substituted with another type of a green plant. In the case of fruit or gourmet gift baskets, please keep in mind that many fruits and other products are seasonal in nature and we will only utilize the freshest available produce and gourmet items. As a result, the components to create your fruit or gourmet basket may vary based on market availability. Substitution of some keepsake items will be made only with another novelty keepsake item of the same nature, theme, or occasion. Avas Flowers Satisfaction Commitment, Cancellation, Returns, And Refunds Policy: In the unlikely event you are unhappy with your product(s), please notify us within 24 hours of delivery and you may return the arrangement for a refund, request an exchange of products, or receive store credit. To receive a refund, non-perishable products may be returned unused and in its original state within 7 days of delivery for a full refund of the cost of the item, less any service fees. Hand-delivered floral product or perishable goods may be returned in its original state within 24 hours of delivery and may be subject to a 50% restocking fee of the cost of the product. To receive an exchange of goods, notify us within 24 hours of the issue with the delivered arrangement and we will pick up and re-deliver another product(s) of equal or greater value at no additional cost to you. We will need to be provided the opportunity to pick up the product(s) you are dissatisfied with prior to processing a re-delivery. If you have a complaint about a delivered product but do not want or cannot provide an opportunity for us to pick up the original delivered arrangement, we will provide you with a courtesy store credit for future use. Refunds or credits given for orders that have already been delivered or have had an attempted delivery will only be for the partial or full cost of the arrangement(s), less any service, handling, or restocking fees. We are willing to go above and beyond our obligation to provide additional options in order to satisfy the customer, such as partial store credit or a partial refund, however, a charge-back or full refund is unacceptable and very much outside of our terms of services. A full refund could not be issued since the arrangement that was delivered was never returned. Accordingly, we disagree with the customer claim.

an agent on 2/14 who reiterated this as well. The order was delivered on 2/15, well within our flex delivery period, but the recipient actually refused the arrangement.
