After 11 phone calls and a total of 5 hours on the phone I have been issued a refund and the order canceled.

I am rejecting this response because:
A picture of what was received was sent and the number of flowers received is NOT what this man is stating.  My phone calls are recorded and with the last call that I made to Avas, the representative stated that what I ordered is not what was delivered and there was an error.  Avas website also states that a full refund will given if you are unsatisfied.  Contact within 24 hrs. which I did and the item will need to be picked up.  I told them that this was fine, its not what I ordered anyway and they chose to not honor their "satisfaction guarantee."  This company is built on deception and false advertising and I am not the only person who has ever had a problem.  There are many, many complaints with this company doing the exact same thing and offering the same pathetic store credit that they know nobody will use.  I do thank you for admitting error on your part and stating it was incorrect.  That will greatly aid the chargeback I have filed with my CC company.  Its unfortunate that you did not simply issue a refund and now the CC company will and you will also be charged with a $35.00 chargeback fee.  Poor financial decision in my opinion to rather pay to issue a refund.

My name is Chris with the Avas Flowers customer service management and I’m very sorry there was such trouble with this order. In order to issue a full refund, we would have needed to retrieve the original arrangement. Since you were so disappointed in this, I have refunded $40 directly back to your card.

I am rejecting this response because:
I phoned customer service and voiced my dissatisfaction with the product and was not offered redelivery if a new product or a refund after retrieval of the item.  I would like this business to either pick up the dead flowers and issue a full refund or re-deliver a new, fresh product.  I called customer service within hours of delivery and it is still less than 7 days of product possession.

it shows what was orders and will be delivered. It does state on that invoice: please take time to review your order details and our terms of service. If the customer finds ANY errors, they are to call Avas customer service [redacted] or send an email to [redacted] as soon as possible in order to correct the problem. The order was placed on 12/03/15 and that was when the invoice was sent. The arrangement was delivered for the funeral on 12/4/15 and that was when we were notified, which would have been to late to correct the arrangement. The customer has also stated that their bank was notified and until that is done, we are unable to respond to this complaint. Thank you for your understanding.

If you do not provide us the opportunity to pick up the product(s) we may be able to issue you a store credit for future use or a redelivery instead of a refund.

review this and made a correction to the card message but did not let us know that the time was incorrect so delivery was made after 11 but before 12. This was delivered on 6/24 and we did not receive a notice of quality complaint till 7/14. [redacted] - We normally do not issue any refund for a refused delivery.  An exception was made to refund $32 of the $45.94 that was charged. We did need to keep the remainder to cover delivery cost and cost of goods for the designer. $20 of store credit was also issued.

I want to cancel my complaint my wife finally received the flowers on Wednesday and she liked them. It just took. 5 days I thought it was scam after waiting so long and poor customer service. Sorry for the inconvenience
