I over paid by a thousand dollars on my credit card on 10-26- On 10-27-I requested a refund of the overpaymentIt is now 11-16-and still no refundI have talked to several supervisors and all have said it will be taken care ofmy last two calls resulted in no check sent money will be deposited directly into my checking account over night last call said it would take at least business days to complete the transactionI won't hold my breath on that one All this from a company that has a business motto that says "DO THE RIGHT THING"I thought it meant for the customer satisfaction but I was wrong silly me

Conflicting Answers, Condescending attitude and ill-trained agents are a few adjectives I would use to describe the "fraud and security" departmentsMy fault would be losing my wallet and credit cardsReporting my lost card was easy however getting a replacement is a horror storyDespite answering most the answers correctly my agent felt it wasn't sufficient enough, so he requested me to send in some documents to indicate who I amSure, I can do thatI was irritated however the agent was somewhat polite so I let goThe agent who dealt with me after him was horribleNot only did he give me conflicting answers but he accused me of being a fraud because I have lived in multiple dwellings in the past yearsThe address they have on file wasn't the one I updatedHe also claimed CapitalOne doesn't rush cards to their customers and "apologize" to me whoever provided me with the incorrect answerToday I received a phone call from another agent and she informed me my card should be here in 2-daysWHY WHY WHY are the agents not properly trained? The Fraud and Security Manager brushed off my complaints and backed his/her ill-trained staffI am truly disappointedI will pay off the remaining balance, close it and apply with hometrust or scotiabank

I've been a Capital One customer for over years, and on Friday 01/29/my account was hacked by criminals and NONE of the safeguards that Capital One had in place worked to protect my moneyThey were able to withdraw funds from my account using the ATM(Somehow obtained my PIN # or changed PIN # and also exceeded daily withdrawal limit) Hackers called Capital One Customer Service department and was successful in transferring funds from our savings and also from a second checking account into our primary checking account which they had the "dummy card" for and cleaned out all three accounts in one day(Our Daily POS limit is $2500, they far exceeded this amount as they cleaned out our accounts.) Capital Once became aware of the breach, cancelled the affected debit card, and sent a new oneThey NEVER called to advise/notify us of the problemWhen we received the new card, we had no idea why it was sentAs the owner of the account and a loyal customer for over years, no consideration is granted to us as it relates to replacing our fundsWe have been advised that it could take up to business days to replace funds and we must wait for them to complete their investigationMeanwhile, it's the beginning of the month and we need to pay our billsOnce this issue is resolve, I have no confidence in Capital One's ability to protect my money or personal information going forwardTo be told by several people that work for them, " This is their job (criminals), they spend all day thinking of ways to rob people of their money." My response is that as a financial corporation, is it THEIR responsibility to ensure that criminals are NOT successful in their quest to rob their customers of the billions of dollars placed in their banks on a daily basis This clearly their pathetic attempt to reduce their accountability in this situation
