We ordered a Carolina Carports, Incproduct on July 3, We were told it would be to weeks before it would be installed After weeks had passed, we called the company and were told it would be installed the first week in October Although we were not happy with the additional delay, we made our vacation plans accordingly Around September 6th or 7th the company called us and said they had a cancellation and the installation would be in days We informed them we would not be home then, but would be home by September They said they would call us to schedule the installation the first week of October By September 28th we had not heard from the company so we called them At first they said they could not schedule the installation the first week of October I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for over minutes Then the same person came back on the line and said it would be scheduled for either October 4th or 5th and that she would call me back today to confirm which of the dates it would be When we did not hear back from her (or anyone else with the company) by 4:p.m., I called their number and was informed they were closed According to your website the company has a C+ rating That is too high, should be a D- or F

This is a terrible company to do business with They could care less about their customers and the Secof State in NC should do a full investigation of their business practices Do not wast your money buying from them! You have been warned!!!!!

After seeing Diamond Dave's Portable Buildings in Cottage Hills, Illinois, we reached out to the dealer, David B*** (618-258-7999), to get more information on the product There was only one example of a building on-site, but we were confident it would meet our needs So we ordered, putting 10% down on the building ($666.00) That was on October 5, Dave told us that the building would be ordered once the paperwork was sent along and the local office would contact us for delivery We told Dave that we were still prepping our area for placement and he said it shouldn't be a problem, just let the company know when you're ready and they'll schedule delivery
The local office called about a week later to set up delivery; we stated we were not ready and was told then that the unit

First of all I am extremely pleased with the building I received along with the installers*** Installers were very professionalMy only issue is that my order was delayed and for five weeks I was told it was on the truck and would be here next week weather permittingTruth be told the installers are waiting to get several orders in the area to make it worth their timeI understand that and think Carolina Carports should just be honest with customers so they don't take time off from work expecting a structureMy only complaint is that their customer service needs some workWe are adults and can handle the truth

After five months of waiting, Carolina Carports finally showed up around five pm, just as darkness was taking over to install the carport Enough has been said about their poor performance with respect to delivery, their terrible customer service and the overall bad attitude to the customer that has made the down payment and now is at the company's mercy My problem in addition to the above is with the contractor who CS said was an excellent installerDon't misunderstand, the quality of material was overall very goodHowever, the trim work was basically atrocious with bare metal protruding all over as a result of poor workmanship in the installation I had ordered the additional side panel to be placed at the bottom They placed it at the top and I had to tell them it was wrong Contractor says, "good thing you said something or you would have all these screw wholes everywhere instead of the ends on the one side I said it's on the order that way He said that it's not on his copy, even though it is on the copy he gave meWanted to know if I wanted the scrap, I said no and they left the two biggest pieces of scrap The next morning I went out to look it over in daylight only to find somewhere around a hundred screws strewn on the top of the gravel driveway Fortunately I pick them up prior to getting a flat tireI think I picked them all up, but I still find one or two hanging up in the gravel
Stepping back to the ordering, the dealer I dealt with completed the form including signing my name (incorrectly spelling it) and giving me my copy after I paid the down payment Little did I know the signature represented acceptance of all the terms of agreement on the reverse This being said, I can only conclude that this company, Carolina Carports, leaves a great deal to be desired in a company Perhaps they spend too much effort on mfg process and none anywhere else I would not, not recommend this organization for anythingI wouldn't even ask them for the time of day, I'm sure it would be wrong I have to go out and find some matching paint to cover the bare metal in the trimIt's not bad enough that the contractor caused bends in metal on installation, a matter that could have been avoided, then they screwed up the trim which is almost the most important in appearance and finally the screws everywhereI cannot in good faith give them even a one star but this does not offer a zero even if deservedI waited six weeks before writing this in case I might mellow my impression, I still do not have a good word for them and tell everyone I can to not deal with them

I placed a deposit with Carolina Carports to finish the rear portion of my carportThey told me it would be 8-weeks from date of depositI put a deposit in 7/ and as of 12/20, they still haven't completed my carportTwice they made an appointment with me to come and work but they never showed up nor did they give me the common curtesy to call and cancelThey then scheduled a third time and canceled due to a "injury" to one of the workers! I recently had a carport installed by CCI and had no problem with time of delivery, like most people are having, but had a MAJOR problem with the quality of the job and the finished project I refused to pay do to the carport being out of level by over 6" I had the pad properly installed and there was no excuse for how un-level the carport was except for the inability of workers to level an 18x36' carport At first they said they would come back to fix it because the pics I sent were ridiculously obvious Two days before they were suppose to come back they called to say they did their part (of installing the carport) and it was my fault that the shed looked the way it did They refuse to come fix their crappy work and said they are turning me over to collections This company just wants your money! We ordered a carport from *** which is a seller for Carolina Carports on 12/31/and was told at the time we ordered that it would be around 2/14/before installation which we were fine withThe problem was they called and wanted to deliver on 1/28/and I was not able to be here because I was summoned for Jury Duty and they wanted to come anyway but I refused because I wanted to make sure it was placed where we wanted it placedThey then called our house phone (they had both house and cell phone numbers) on Saturday Feb13, and said they could deliver it on 1/18/but we had to call them back in a few minutes in order to get it on the truck, we were out of town for the weekend and did not get the message until Sunday afternoonI tried to call and they were closed so I called on Monday and left two messages and no one bothered to call me back, I wanted to know why they did not call my cell phone since they had both numbers!! They then called to have it delivered on 2/25/and called the night before and cancelled because they said the weather was bad, which it was not!! They rescheduled for 2/29/and was supposed to be here by lunch or shortly after, they called me at 1:30PM and said they were not coming because the delivery and setup before ours was not able to be delivered that morning because they could not get up someone's driveway(why did they wait till 1:30PM to call then if they knew that in the morning), at that point she said she would call me back by the end of the week to rescheduleShe called on 3/4/and scheduled delivery for Thursday 3/10/and said they would be here late morning! Of course at noon they were still not here so I called and was told they were running behind and would be here by 1PM, of course they were NOT!!! I called again at 2:00PM and was told he was on his way and would be here around 2:They arrived at 2:45PM and came onto our property smoking cigarettes and throwing them on the ground, I went out and told them to pick up their butts, we do not smoke and I didn't appreciate them throwing them on the ground and to pick them up!!! They could hardly speak English and it was very hard for me to understand them!! WE WILL NEVER BY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!! We were going to buy another one for a work van but it won't be from this company!!!!!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
