After being rescheduled multiple times, and after calling countless timesI have a building that I have sunk tens of thousands into that still leaks, and it looks bad because it's not trimmed out fullyAnd when I purchased the building I was told one thing and I got another....after calling in and requesting it to be fixed I was told that's how they do that type of building, well if I would have known that I was buying a building that was not going to be fully trimmed out and leaked then I would not have bought it, still waiting in trimming to be replaced( not all of it just pieces, they will not install the).....But when you purchase the building from a 3rd party and then Carolina carports uses a 3rd party to install the building every one just points the finger and blames someone else.....at the end of the day I would not recommend this outfit to build a dog house....poor customer service, poor craftsmanship and just a overall bad servicea modern-day carpetbagger type of co

I was told by my salesman that my carport would be installed with in weeks of my purchase dateI called on the 6th week to find out what day they would be installing itI was told that I wasn't even on a work order yet and that there employees take weeks off for Christmas and it would be after thatI was told they were backlogged and wasn't sure when I would be scheduledThe person I talked to didn't seem bothered in the least bit that They weren't going to install it in time or that she knew when it would be installedI wish I had known all of this a head of time because I would not have done business with this company!

I was told 4-weeks for delivery, just started week and still no wordI have called twice and was told next truck out I would cancel order if I could get by deposit backShould have read reviews first

I ordered a carport and the official time was to weeks for deliveryThe person selling it said it would be more so I looked on line and it seemed more like weeksThe problem is, that was 10-24-today is 2-16-So it has been more like weeks Now when I call they say they are not there because of weather so I am a little concerned that they are out of business, since the weather there is fine

the building structure is great; poor communication from company; rescheduled times, then when contractor came to install, charged $extra for labor; when I contacted company, they stated that "they had nothing to do with contractors" --- refused to split overage cost/stated "it's in the fine print in the contract that we can charge extra when we deliver"; contractor wanted "cash only" for the overage --- watch out for this company --- very suspicious contractors; my inconvenience is okay, but their inconvenience is a charge!!

I purchased a 30’x30’ shed from Carolina Carport in May During the installation, there were several issues Carolina Carports called in September about the remaining balance and I stated I would not pay until they corrected the issues I missed worked twice because they schedule to repair the installation but did not show I even paid $towards the remaining balance out of blind faith that they would honor their commitment They stated in September that installer was on vacation The next called from Carolina Carport came in July about repairing my installation They tried to give me a two-day notice to repair my shed The installer finally arrived on Aug @ 7:p.m., and he completed only a portion of the repair He stated that one portion of the repair the main door was installed incorrectly from the begin, now this was the same that installed the building initially He stated that the 8’x8’ doors could not be repaired now, unless he allowed me to d

I placed an order with Carolina Carports on July 19th, I have made numerous calls trying to see when or if they had any intentions to come out and install the carport I emailed, but received no answer Every time I've called they have told me that they don't get a lot of orders in my area so they can't come out to install It's now been over months which is utterly ridiculous For over a month I've been told that I am in the next batch but cannot be given a date as to when that might be They also will not refund my 10% down payment just to cancel the order and quit worrying with them Do not use this company!

I purchased a carport through Carport Central in the form of a garage with automatic garage doors (extra $1000) after waiting nearly two months for the garage to be built, the crew up and left after a days work - leaving it nearly finishedI ended up finishing the last few things myself and cleaning up hundreds of small pieces of sharp metal and screwsHowever the garage doors never worked rightFrom the beginning they would open and close themselvesOften times we would come home to an open garageUnfortunately, the door decided to close while I was exciting the garage recently and damaged my vehicle, this is after the company sent a crew out months ago to remedy the problemWe are getting two new garage doors installed today (if the installer shows) and I am hoping they can speak english as it is difficult to explain a problem when they cannot understand youNot a company I would recommend

I ordered my Carolina Carport from *** Factory OutletBoth the dealer and manufacturer were excellent in their communication and helpfulnessThe installers did an excellent jobI could rave about their expertise all dayThey were that good ! I am pleased with all aspects of the transactionVery satisfied customer

Buyer beware if you are buying from Carolina carports/carportyou will experience a lot of issue with them regarding delivery dates and warranty issues if you are planning on running electric to your carport/garage beware you void any warranty issues they treat you terrible and put you through the hoops I would never recommend these people to anyone so beware when dealing with them I spent nearly 5,on a garage and had a professional electrician run electric throughout the garage didn't change any of the structure but my roof started lifting up at the seam where the metal is supposed to overlap and I called for a repair and was denied saying I put electric in my garage it voided my warranty what a joke these people are my attorney will be in touch just beware of them

Purchased a garage, cannot use because they broke the door during installation and the othe door they lost off the truck on the way to the locationI have called repeatedly about them bringing new onesThey call back and schedule a day then they do not show upI have lost close to 400$ in lost wages because someone has to be available when they comeThe company is not cooperative and the people that they sent to build the garage laid on a dirt pile in the shade for a good part of the dayThey also charged me in full for the broken door and charged me sales tax on the door that never made it to the location

Delivery and install scheduled for Monday 2/ I ask are you sure, they are predicting a winter stormhigh in the 30s and precip Answer is yes I informed them several times I have to drive miles Sunday night and take a day off work to get to the install site If they are going to cancel, I need to before I have to go out The woman I spoke with assured me they would call Sunday if they were not going to be there Monday On Sunday, the forecast for Monday is a high of and 70% chance of winter mix with accumulations less than an inch No call, so I go out to our property Sunday nightThe sleet starts about 3:am as predicted and we had about a half inch by morning Monday morning at 9:00, they call and ask if they can reschedule for Thursday Then they drop the bombshell The first scheduled install for Monday was supposed to be near Tyler, TX Then, they were supposed to come install mine How the heck are they going to install a structure in Tyler in the morning and drive miles to my location near Breckenridge and install a 20xbuilding the same day? .Even if the weather had been good, it would have been impossible to install it when they told me they would So, I wasted a day of vacation and got to drive miles home on icy roads because 1) they did not do what they said they would and 2) they scheduled two jobs miles apart for the same crew on the same day We'll see what happens when they reschedule

Earlier this summer, we entered a contract with Carolina Carports, Inc., via one of their authorized dealersWhile the dealer was happy explain our options and take our non-refundable deposit (over $200), he is now unwilling to even speak with us
CC eventually scheduled our delivery and building, and then rescheduled
When they arrived, they announced that the ground was not level, and we either had to pay more for additional metal - which would also incur an additional trip charge, since they couldn't provide extra metal that day- or level the ground and reschedule
The paper we signed indicated that they could install the building as is- no warranty- even if the ground was not level
Nowhere is there any range listed for what they can build on, regarding how level the ground isWe live in the mountains, dealer knows this
CC refuses to refund our deposit, claiming the dealer retains it
Dealer refuses because of 'conflicting information', and now refuses to even return calls or emails
We not only did not get our building, but we're out the depositWouldn't be an issue at all if the paperwork did not expressly state that they can build if the ground isn't level

I put a deposit of $on a Carolina Carport on 5/27/with the understanding it could take up to weeks to get an install dateAOK, moving forward weeks to 6/30/still no schedule date and call CC for explanationRenee said due to bad weather they moved install date forward to 7/14/I ask my management for the 14th off and guess who calls 7/12/17? Carolina Carport wanting to move the install date to 7/15/ I explained no as I rearranged my scheduleThey offer a $off install incentive as my bonus for poor management and obviously not enough installersI return to the place I made my deposit with and they refunded my moneyI will never do business with Carolina Carports againBUYERS BEWARE !!!!!!

In looking for someone to replace a damaged carport, I googled for companies available, then looked them up on the Revdex.com website I specifically did not call Carolina Carports because they had an “F” rating with multiple negative reviews I chose another company that did not have any negative reviews
I called the second company for a quoteI was quoted $for the carport and $for taking down and hauling off the old carport, plus tax The total was $ A down payment of $was paid that day
I received a message the next day that the job would be sub contracted out to Carolina Carports I called the sales person back and was put through to his voice mail I told him I was greatly concerned with Carolina Carports doing the work and why-because of the “F” rating with Revdex.com
After the carport was installed, I went out to inspect and noted that the old carport was still stacked in the back yard I called and talked to Customer Service at the first company to let her know that the old structure was still in the yard She informed me that they do not remove the old structure I relayed that I was told it would be removed for the price I was quoted She talked to the sales person and then apologized that I was given incorrect information, but they would not remove it We went back and forth quite a few times – me saying my quote included the removal and she apologizing that I was given incorrect information
Then Josh *** from Carolina Carports called me He does not care what I was quoted, they were wrong He said the balance is due to Carolina Carports and will be paid in full The balance is to be paid immediately or it will be turned over to a collection agency and he advises that we do not want to do that
I did send a check for the full amount and then had to hire and pay someone else to remove the old carport
I have multiple rental properties with these carports, but I will never use either of these companies again

Carolina Carport installed garage building on June 4, The rogarage doors were not installed properlyThis allows for water to seep up under the doors into the building and the doors are difficult to close because of the small holes that were cut for the latchEspecially at nightI have contacted them numerous times to be constantly transferred from one individual to another They have constantly lied about coming to repair the tracts on the doorsI have sent them pictures of the doors and the latches that don't line up with the doors holesI purchased the certification of the building which should give me the right for them to resolve the issuesI hope they would quit lying and honour their word The purchase cost me $

In November I had a building installed30x35xThe installation went wellOne dayAbout weeks after the build I was working in the shop when I noticed a leak in the rooof close to the ridge and in the backUpon inspection it looked like it was leaking in two locationsWhen I touched the roof I saw water appear along a seam of the roofI contacted Carolina Carports was was told they would schedule someone and let me know when they would be outI called back today, about two weeks later and was told that they would have to schedule it when someone is in the area and it could be 6-weeks from nowI find that unacceptableA happy customer should be importantIt appears that it is notA better system to address issues should be in placeI will note that this is my second building built by themI never had an issue with the other oneThat is why I chose them againI am now regretting that decision

I ordered a Carolina Carport on July 16th and was told delivery would be to weeksIt was first scheduled for delivery on 9/15, cancelled on 9/18, rescheduled for 9/22, cancelled on 9/26, rescheduled for 10/It is 9/They just called and rescheduled for 10/Each time it is a different reason: bad weather, running behind, contractor out of stateI wanted to make sure to add my problems to the listThey finally came on 10/6, late in the day, and completed the installation The finished carport is great However, scheduling and delivery are very poor

The absolute worst company to do business withI would not buy a dog house from them as my dog deserves betterOrder a car port on July 28th with a week lead timeweeks later, on September 4th, they called and want to install on the 10thAlready having made plans to go out of town, we had to declineAfter several more weeks of me calling them, each time their response was that nothing was planned to get my unit installed, will call you back, which never happenedEach time I called, a little more frustration set inThen finally on Sept 25th they called and wanted to install on Monday Oct 2nd in the afternoon, weeks after the original saleSince we have a fenced yard with a gate, so someone needed to be here and let them in, I made plans to take the afternoon offThen on Sunday, Sept 30, the customer service rep (Tabitha) called and said it was being moved to the on Wed Oct 3rd I moved my day off and came homeNo one ever showed to install, but I had to keep calling them to find out what was goingShe could not get the installer to respond as to what they were doing or where they wereSo around 4pm, it was moved to Wed Oct 4th at 1pmAgain, took the afternoon off and came home At 230pm I called the installer to see what was goingHe said they were on the job before me, had cut a pipe on, were waiting on a repair and would be over around I then called CCI, spoke with customer service mngr Katie ask for a 10% discount to help off set my lost pay for taking half days offShe told me that any discount would have to come from the installer and she would let them knowBut Instead of 10%, she told the installers to give me $100, but it would come out of their cut of the jobI called the installed back at to see where they were and he went off on the fact that they were taking the tiny little discount ($100) out of his payHe proceeded to tell me he could not give up that kind of money and would have to call CCI backAt I called the installed back to see where he was and I was told that since he needed to give me the $off, that HE has CANCELLED the job and was headed homeI then asked why he had the "power" to just cancel MY job and why he didn't think that I should get something for my lost payHe basically said he didn't care, could install it and give me a discount, so he went homeSo weeks after the original order, the building was close by, but because CCI and the installer could not work anything out, THEY CANCELLED AND LEFTThere customer service manger needs work on her people skillsNot sure how the schedulers take the constant customer calls asking about their building and would not hire this installer to hammer a nail in a boardThe rating is a C+, which is not correct, it should be a GIANT F
