I placed my order July and was told I should receive delivery with to weeks but most likely weeks Waited for a call for delivery but didn't receive a call I called Carolina Carports after weeks and was told I should be getting a call next week to schedule delivery Waited again After weeks I finally received a call stating they would deliver on September shortly after noon I called in the morning on September and was told they were in the area and delivery time was on schedule Around pm, I called again and was told if they were scheduled to deliver that day, they Would be there About an hour later I received a call from Carolina Carports stating there had been an emergency and the crew had been called back to NC I ask when I could expect delivery and was told by the person that called me that that wasn't a part of their job and someone else would have to call me with that information I feel Carolina Carports is a joke and should be required to close

I was leery of buying a building from Carolina Carports because of their dismal track record The dealer that sold it to me assured me that they are working on some issues and considering they install many buildings across the country you are gonna have some complaints I took the dealer on his work cause we found out we served together in the Marine Corp and in the same unit Process of building went great Crew showed up as I was told and hours later the 30xbldgwas completed The crew was organized and worked very hard and steady and answered any questions my site foreman had, (brother-in-law) I was not able to be their cause I had to work but I would give the out of stars for workmanship and only because I'm fussier than most people but two rows of screws on one side were crooked They should have snapped a chalk line to follow However, it was not a deal breaker and most people would not notice it Having said all of this I have not, at this point, looked for any leaks or seen any or other issues that would probably all under the warranty The office stall in Dobson, especially Mallory was very helpful and fair So far I've had a lot of compliments on the building So maybe they have turned things around and I would recommend and use them again

I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but this company is really bad, in my opinion, and I just want to warn you
Really, really bad customer service and communication
Will not deliver until enough orders in for your area...at their discretion
If they make a mistake in construction or are missing material to finish the job (like a garage door), you must wait until they have sufficient orders to send a crew...wait...THE SAME CREW, while your tools, equipment, whatever, sits outside waiting, for another month or more
WHEN you've had enough and start to complain, "scheduling" gets defensive and short with you
To top that off, even when they delivered the second door (BTW they said they only had one when we ordered, but paid for two) they are too cheap to furnish written operating instructions on their openers You have to download them
We just lost power...no cell service...computer down, of course Both doors wide open and no instructions on how to close them Am I unhappy...?

We purchased a carport in November it took months to have it installed and when it was it was installed in the wrong color It was suppose to be Burgundy and we got cardinal red We have talked to the company on several occasions and they want $to change it but we only paid $for it It is clearly red and Renee from the company along with Randy Sisk agreed that we were installed with the wrong color

Put 10% down on an $1,car port on November 8th it was not scheduled for installation until February 8th months after I purchased it and when they did call me to tell me it would be installed I already had plane tickets to go out of state those exact day and I told them that I could not change my plans and that I wanted my deposit back because months was too long to wait for the installation of my carport and they said because I signed a contract I did not get my deposit back I'm not the one that broke the contract they are three months is too long

My review is the same as everyone else...ordered building and still no delivery The people on the phone were nice, but the delivery is a nightmare They called on Friday April to schedule delivery on Tuesday April Took day off work NO SHOW NO CALL Nothing The factory said they had a problem and would come on Wed April Took day off again NO SHOW NO CALL I'm very angry and the lack of regard for the customers It is May and still no building and no scheduled install I would recommend going somewhere else for your building, but I don't know where else there is Seems Carolina Carports is the manufacturer for everyone in my area (West Virginia) BE WARNED The Carolina Carport staff are nice and helpful Their contracted install people are horrible and give Carolina Carport a horrible reputation

I originally went to one of the authorized dealers for a metal carport I took the slab measurements that is on my property to the authorized dealership and was advised that a carport could be constructed and installed with my 24xslab When I went to order my metal building I realized that my vehicle would not fit inside the building and the bed of the truck was protruding outside the building I was advised by the authorized dealer of Carolina Carport that we could have a building installed that would fit the slab already poured So I had the authorized dealership to come out and measure the slab, I drew up the structure I wanted, the authorized dealership submitted the plans to Carolina Carports for plans for the building to be installed I was told by the authorized dealership that it would cost more but I could have my structure done with some extra costs that I authorized weeks later the structure was brought out, but between the authorized dealership and Carolin

Ordered my carpet in Feb, never got a callback, because the contracted agent who I bought the carpet from said that they would contact meHe was a little shadySo we called him a couple times, he wouldn't return or callsFinally contacted Carolina carport and they were all over itThru stayed in contact, we hammered out a date, and then we cancelled on themThey followed up and we set a new dateThey contact our the installation and I have to tell you when the guys showed up, we were thier 5th bull*** of the dayWe ordered a really huge buildingThe company was MonteroThey went right to work and worked until dark.Stated that they would be back at 6am to finishThey came call at 6am to finish and were so cconsiderant of the time, that they didn't disturb anyone with thier construction noiseWe roles out of bed at am and watched them finish up the jobIt was perfect!! Looks better that I thought it would and these guys had us to walk around before they left and made sure we were happy with itWe are!!!!! This was the easiest and best planned job of any construction project we'd ever hired outI would recommend this company to anyone!!

Worst company I have ever dealt with Ordered a carport nothing special in april of this year Here it is almost july and still no carport They have drug me through the wringer with their bs Has been scheduled for delivery times and still nothing They call and cancel at the last minute making me lose days off from work Never ever use this company the will drag you along until they decide to get ready to deal with you Worst customer service everNothing but lies

The worst company I have ever dealt with Due to rescheduling, no shows and a lack of communication, this company cost me days of work having to wait for them to show When I call asking for a discount, I am treated like the bad guy If you have no where to be go ahead and buy from this company Everyone else run as fast as you can

Bought the carport in May received two phone call, July and September both because I call the dealer and complainedHad enough by the end of October called the dealer again and the dealer emailed several people including a top person finally got a response said the would delivered Oct 30-They called said the carport would be delivered on Monday Oct Now on Friday Oct I get another phone call they moved the date to Thurs Nov I have patently for months with ONLY a few calls needless to say I am Happy with this company and will NEVER buy againI had to put a star would have not put anything

I ordered a 24xmetal building with a price tag of over $10,The crew came out to do the job while I was at work because I was told by a lady in the office that I did not have to be thereLuckily, I decided to check on the crew during my lunch because I when I got there they had ran all metal galvanized screws in the building when I had paid for color matched screws..after a brief argument of the crew telling me I didn't pay for colored screws they checked receipt and realized I did pay for them and said they would change all the screws so I then went back to workWhen I came home that evening I saw that the crew had not finished the building and they told me they would have to come back the next day to install the 16xdoor because they were unfamiliar with how to do itI started to look over the job they had done and what I saw DISGUSTED meThere was beer cans laying around the building( Some of which I had to clean up), scratches and dents on every panel they had instal

On March 26th, we ordered a single carport garage from this company through *** mobile homes in East Dublin, GA Carolina Carport, inc contacted us around the 9th of April advising us that they would be there on Friday April 13th, to install the carportThey called Friday afternoon advising that they got behind because of the rain and will be here Saturday April 14th, On Saturday April 14th, I received a phone call from a guy who informed be that they would be at the center around 1pm to set up the carport, I told him that would fine, he never showedI still had the number he called from so we called him back on Monday morning April 16th, and he stated he ran out of materials and wasn't going to be able to come I then called the company and they said they had tried to get in touch with there worker with no success and that they would put us on rushThe female called back from the company on Monday April 16th, stating the earliest she would

Very Unprofessional Companywaited over weeks for delivery, was called and given a date for delivery which I had to take off work, no carport showed up, no phone call, no emailKeep you're deposit, I'll do business somewhere else....I don't know how there still in business

We purchased a cover from Carolina Carports It has not been a good experience, if you have any other choice I would certainly use it even if you pay more
Once ordered it took several weeks to get the building and set up the date for installation, this all went ok, however the crew that put up the building left metal shavings over the yard and we picked up over screws they left on the ground and we are still finding them, due to this we lost a tire on our boat trailer
Then we decided to have more panels put on one side of the building, this took a very long time, then when a date was set to have this done I contacted them times to verify the appointment since I had to plan to be home, I was assured all times they would be there, well never heard from anyone that dayAt 6am the next day someone is banging on my door(got in bed at 2am) no phone call nothing
Last we just had some fairly high winds, 45mph, the supports they used where so weak they pulled through the cheap metal on one side and crumpled on the other allowing the building to lean almost onto the boat
When we contacted them about the damage they said not there problem contact our insuranceWe have their email....can share
So they are not accredited, I did not research good enough, but if your researching stay away from this company

Horrible Communication , Horrible They are very good at cancelling install dates If you enjoy waiting forever your carport to be installed , this is the company for you If you enjoy zero communication and endless excuses then look no further I would not recommend them to my worst enemy One of these days my carport may be miraculously installed

This has been the worst experience ever I wanted a carport before winter but after two no-show cancellation on the deliver and installation, I canceled my order out of sheer frustration dealing with poor customer service and unreasonable business practices I ordered a carport through the website at the end of September, hoping for installation by November at the latest The contractor was switched to Carolina Carports, Inc(CCI) without my knowledge, but I went along and signed the purchase/installation contract on September 26, anyway (because I understand how American businesses like to use subcontractor or have other business under their umbrellas) I had to call the company (CCI) because once I signed the contract I didn't hear anything for several weeks Several attempts later, I was scheduled for delivery and installation around October Then, no show/no call The following Monday, I called and was told the wrong item was loaded on the truck and they would need to reschedule Okay, so after loosing it on a phone call to the company, I finally received a call on November for installation on November (Whoopee!) But low and behold, I get a call on the morning of November to be told that (LOL) the truck broke down in route and could they reschedule to November (UGH! Guess I should have known) Definitely a bad omen, so at this point I have had enough with the excuses and poor customer service Funny thing is that the contract states if the customer cancels within day installation process they won't get a refund Why????? The customer is put through all kinds of excuses, no-shows, no calls and delays, but the company is allowed to keep my $100+ dollars they clearly did not earn HUH? For *** *** (who have the audacity to tout God's name in their recording) and Carolina Carports Inc(who are definitely not customer friendly) my rating is ZERO!!!!

Buyer beware! I purchased a x carport 6/6/knowing it might be 4-weeks for deliveryI called several times to get a status on this carport but never got a real answer, only that they would callI even had the dealer call, without resolveFinally got a call 7/26/to set up an appointment to install the carport on 7/31/She said it would be daybreak! Fine with meOnly thing is no one shows up at daybreak and I received no callI called the company after they opened only to find out they aren't coming, want to make another appointment for 8/4/late afternoonWell, can't do so they have to take me off the scheduleSo, went to the dealer and got our deposit backWill never deal with them again
