The absolute worst company to do business withI would not buy a dog house from them as my dog deserves betterOrder a car port on July 28th with a week lead timeweeks later, on September 4th, they called and want to install on the 10thAlready having made plans to go out of town, we had to declineAfter several more weeks of me calling them, each time their response was that nothing was planned to get my unit installed, will call you back, which never happenedEach time I called, a little more frustration set inThen finally on Sept 25th they called and wanted to install on Monday Oct 2nd in the afternoon, weeks after the original saleSince we have a fenced yard with a gate, so someone needed to be here and let them in, I made plans to take the afternoon offThen on Sunday, Sept 30, the customer service rep (Tabitha) called and said it was being moved to the on Wed Oct 3rd I moved my day off and came homeNo one ever showed to install, but I had to keep calling them to find out what was goingShe could not get the installer to respond as to what they were doing or where they wereSo around 4pm, it was moved to Wed Oct 4th at 1pmAgain, took the afternoon off and came home At 230pm I called the installer to see what was goingHe said they were on the job before me, had cut a pipe on, were waiting on a repair and would be over around I then called CCI, spoke with customer service mngr Katie ask for a 10% discount to help off set my lost pay for taking half days offShe told me that any discount would have to come from the installer and she would let them knowBut Instead of 10%, she told the installers to give me $100, but it would come out of their cut of the jobI called the installed back at to see where they were and he went off on the fact that they were taking the tiny little discount ($100) out of his payHe proceeded to tell me he could not give up that kind of money and would have to call CCI backAt I called the installed back to see where he was and I was told that since he needed to give me the $off, that HE has CANCELLED the job and was headed homeI then asked why he had the "power" to just cancel MY job and why he didn't think that I should get something for my lost payHe basically said he didn't care, could install it and give me a discount, so he went homeSo weeks after the original order, the building was close by, but because CCI and the installer could not work anything out, THEY CANCELLED AND LEFTThere customer service manger needs work on her people skillsNot sure how the schedulers take the constant customer calls asking about their building and would not hire this installer to hammer a nail in a boardThe rating is a C+, which is not correct, it should be a GIANT F

It has been months since I had ordered my carport and they can’t give me a date when it will arrive after they made me wait all day just to call and cancel after I called the day befor to make sure it was still scheduled and the tell me excuse why thay can not make it

Purchase carport on 8/8/and was told it would be four to six weeks have called numerous times and unable to get anyone to tell me when I would be able to be put on the schedule to be installed

If you want a completed carport in a timely matter then don’t choose Carolina Carports Wish I could say this company met the standards they say they meet but it just isn’t true They did call approximately six weeks after I placed orderMy fault that I procrastinated on my obtains a permitI told them that the permitting office said about a weekI conveyed that information and told them I hope I don’t have to wait another six weeks and they said it shouldn’t be that long I waited six weeks and called them to see if they forgot about meThey said they have in their notes there was a permit issue and I was supposed to call themNo one ever told me I was supposed to contact them They then told me they would call when they had a crew availableIt took only a couple weeks The crew was a few hours later than what they told me but no one ever called to say they were running lateThe crew shows up and they seemed knowledgeable about putting the carport together; however, the ridge cap was missing! Not paying them a dime until they completely finish the job!!!

Carolina Carports are nothing but a scam...You order the carport pay the deposit and then wait months for them to schedule delivery and then tell you oh we made a mistake and we need to charge you another Never again

This company put up my carport The construction crew did an OK job of cleanup but did leave behind some sharp scrap metal pieces around the site They also took my payment by writing my credit card information on a piece of scrap paper This didn't seem very professional, later I ended up with fraudulent charges that I was unable to identify and had to cancel my card A little over a month later we had heavy rain and a huge leak I contacted the company They stated that since it was over days since installation I would have to pay myself for the repairsI would beware if you decide to use this company, do not hand your credit card over to the construction crew! Make sure you fully inspect for leaks yourself with a water hose right after installation! I do not have confidence in this company

Buyer beware! There are other companies out there with better business ethics Carolina Carports does NOT do what they say No on time deliveries, no phone calls, no logical explanations Listen to these reviews, people Its been months and I've had to reach out and ask what the deal is on a regular basis The one time they did show up their trailer broke Scotts Carports is also bad I will be writing a review about them as well

Purchase building 7/7/Installed on 10/7/One door was broken and one panel was damagedListed the damage on receipt and withheld final paymentRepair was scheduled and no show times in Then told they would not fix due to weather (winter)In Apr called and was told fix was scheduledFour times in Apr they were no show and rescheduledThe last time I was told when the next truck/contractor was in the area they would fixFinally I called them back on 7/24/and told when the next truck/contractor available againNeed to secure building with foam/concrete before weather turns bad again

Earlier this summer, we entered a contract with Carolina Carports, Inc., via one of their authorized dealersWhile the dealer was happy explain our options and take our non-refundable deposit (over $200), he is now unwilling to even speak with us
CC eventually scheduled our delivery and building, and then rescheduled
When they arrived, they announced that the ground was not level, and we either had to pay more for additional metal - which would also incur an additional trip charge, since they couldn't provide extra metal that day- or level the ground and reschedule
The paper we signed indicated that they could install the building as is- no warranty- even if the ground was not level
Nowhere is there any range listed for what they can build on, regarding how level the ground isWe live in the mountains, dealer knows this
CC refuses to refund our deposit, claiming the dealer retains it
Dealer refuses because of 'conflicting information', and now refuses to even return calls or emails
We not only did not get our building, but we're out the depositWouldn't be an issue at all if the paperwork did not expressly state that they can build if the ground isn't level

I ordered my carport on 7/30/and was told it would be 3-weeks Within a week, I received call that carport had come in and they would call to set up delivery At least weeks later, they called and set up delivery Before the delivery date rolled around, they called to cancel and said they would call back to reschedule A couple of weeks go by and I don't hear anything so I start callingA few weeks later, they call to set up delivery for Friday, October I waited all day 4:pm they call to say they were running late and would be there first thing Saturday morning I waited all day, no call, no show From what I am reading on these reviews, I may never get my carport It's sad that they deal with customers this way I hear they do good work I , like most, do not like getting the run around I just want my carport 3-weeks has turned into weeks and countingDon't use this company if you are in a hurry or if you expect good communication

I placed my order with a local agent for my x workshop, over the following weeks I revived several calls making sure my order details were correct , When it came down to delivery they were on time and did a first class assembly job,
Value for money and service was excellent ,

my husband and I have been waiting over 3mos for delivery! we used this company approx 10yrs ago quick service bing bang and now??? I question if you people exist!!! except you have called over times to cancel pathetic no wonder the Revdex.com doesnot stand behind you we are getting our $ back come hook or by crook

CCI's contractor showed up unannounced on Sunday December 19thHe did install my carport that dayHe had an issue with not being able to install an anchor, which I did not complain aboutIt was easier for me to fix it myself
On December we had a rain storm come through and I found the roof leakingSense CCI was closed for Christmas, I had to wait until January to contact them
When I did reach Myra she asked what it would take to correct the leaksI told her that the metal will have to come off and the lap joints sealedShe told me that won't happenI didn't argue that pointI have since had another carport contractor to look at it and have been told that the joints need to be sealed, which I already knew
Didn't hear anything until I called on March 5thMyra said she would get someone up by the end of the month

I met with one of Carolina Carports' sales representatives to "build" a carport (color, size, shape), on 2/11/2017, and paid the representative the down payment for the buildingHe (Gene of Grand Bay, AL) informed me that I would pay the rest of the building cost at the time of delivery and installation On the contract it said to check and see if a building permit was required in the purchasers areaSo, I asked MrGene if I needed one living in our town, and he assured me I would notHe told me he has been selling these building for yearsHe also informed me not to waste my money on a certified building, and that it was just paying more money for the same thing

I hired Carolina Carport to build out the front of an existing garage so that I could install garage doors on it The frame out was done sloppy and the finished product is unlevel My garage door installation technician refused to install the garage door on one side of the frame outs because it was too unlevel I contacted Carolina Carports twice to resolve the situation The first time they sent the same crew back to the site when I told them that I would not be available The foreman determined, without my presence, that the concrete was unlevel and that the door could not be fixed The concrete is completely level and even from one side to the other The second time the same crew came back and said that now it wasn't the concrete, it was the beam that was unlevel The beam is fine There is an obvious bend in the portion that Carolina Carports installed and is visible to the eye It makes the door look crooked in the openingWhen I tried to explain this to them they told

I have a Carolina Carport for many years, just ordered side enclosure's back in July it's now November and still nothingWhen I call it's still the same excuse,"your an add on" and we have to wait for the same contractor! It's been years, does that contractor still work for them? No answerYou can't just put it on any truck heading north? No, has to be same contractorThis place absolutely has no customer service! Carolina Carports changed the price of our garage after we purchased it and sent us a bill for $ I spoke to someone in the office and they offered to give a 50% adjustment but this didn't even happen
