Buyer beware! I purchased a x carport 6/6/knowing it might be 4-weeks for deliveryI called several times to get a status on this carport but never got a real answer, only that they would callI even had the dealer call, without resolveFinally got a call 7/26/to set up an appointment to install the carport on 7/31/She said it would be daybreak! Fine with meOnly thing is no one shows up at daybreak and I received no callI called the company after they opened only to find out they aren't coming, want to make another appointment for 8/4/late afternoonWell, can't do so they have to take me off the scheduleSo, went to the dealer and got our deposit backWill never deal with them again

Horrible Communication , Horrible They are very good at cancelling install dates If you enjoy waiting forever your carport to be installed , this is the company for you If you enjoy zero communication and endless excuses then look no further I would not recommend them to my worst enemy One of these days my carport may be miraculously installed

Purchased a small carport online with Elephant Structures months agoOnce the order was placed it was subbed out to Carolina Carports because of the state in which I liveWhen I ordered from Elephant they told me I had beaten the winter time cutoff and my carport would be installed within 6-weeksAfter months I was told by Carolina that my carport would be installed that coming SaturdayI received a call that Saturday saying they would now be out at my house on Sunday morning insteadThen I received a call on Sunday at 1:in the afternoon stating they would not be out because the materials were wrongI made a few calls on Monday to Elephant and Carolina CarportsFor the next three days I was told I would receive a call back and all three days I had to call them minutes before the office closedEach day I was told "we'll get back to you"But every time I had to call themFinally I received a call about a week ago and was told that my carport would be installed this past Monday first thing in the morningI then got a call the Friday before saying they won;t be there because they are snowed in up in NYI was told I would receive a phone call early in the week and hopefully they would install by the end of this weekAfter no phone calls I called them on Wednesday and now I am told there are no longer any installers up in my area and they don;t know when they can install it or when there will be a crew up here in PA againSo I guess they finally were able to leave NY and instead of stopping on their way back through to install my carport (which they said only takes about minutes to install) they went straight back to NCIf they were able to leave NY why were they not able to stop by PA on the way home to install my carport, very disappointingSo now here we are; months later and they have no clue when they can install my carportI am supposed to receive a call tomorrow but if it's like every time before the only way I can talk to someone is if I call themVery poor customer service on their end; terrible communicationI guess I should have read other reviews on the Revdex.com website before placing my orderThe sad thing is that every time I call in they tell me that my order is a top priority; I would hate to not be a priority with themI was also told that since I ordered from Elephant that I receive a top priority as wellAgain; I would hate to not be a priorityIf I am a top priority WHY was this not installed this week on the installers way back to NCVery bad experience with this placeI am still hopeful it will arrive and be installed at some point but I am so tired of all of the excuses (like so many oters havhe stated)

This has been the worst experience ever I wanted a carport before winter but after two no-show cancellation on the deliver and installation, I canceled my order out of sheer frustration dealing with poor customer service and unreasonable business practices I ordered a carport through the website at the end of September, hoping for installation by November at the latest The contractor was switched to Carolina Carports, Inc(CCI) without my knowledge, but I went along and signed the purchase/installation contract on September 26, anyway (because I understand how American businesses like to use subcontractor or have other business under their umbrellas) I had to call the company (CCI) because once I signed the contract I didn't hear anything for several weeks Several attempts later, I was scheduled for delivery and installation around October Then, no show/no call The following Monday, I called and was told the wrong item was loaded on the truck and they would need to reschedule Okay, so after loosing it on a phone call to the company, I finally received a call on November for installation on November (Whoopee!) But low and behold, I get a call on the morning of November to be told that (LOL) the truck broke down in route and could they reschedule to November (UGH! Guess I should have known) Definitely a bad omen, so at this point I have had enough with the excuses and poor customer service Funny thing is that the contract states if the customer cancels within day installation process they won't get a refund Why????? The customer is put through all kinds of excuses, no-shows, no calls and delays, but the company is allowed to keep my $100+ dollars they clearly did not earn HUH? For *** *** (who have the audacity to tout God's name in their recording) and Carolina Carports Inc(who are definitely not customer friendly) my rating is ZERO!!!!

this company is horrible, we have been waiting months for our carport after ordering and getting an building permit, when you call they are so disrespectful, they will not give an date for delivery and every time you call they put you off weeks, and only give one day of their choice for delivery if you can not work to their schedule you are put offf for another weeks, please do not order from them, they are not reliable or dependable to deliver your carport within a timely manner we were told weeks now it s going on months and they still cant get us our carport we are looking at losing our building permit and going with another company that delivers on time and communicates and works with you I am disgusted with this company

The crew was to arrive mid morning on a TuesdayThey called at PM and said they were comingIt was dark and they were told not to comeThey called multiple times that night with last call at 11:PMThey arrived at AM the next morningDrove a truck with no reverseDid not have a drill to cut anchor holesTried to block the base beams with firewoodThe building quality is good but the independent service contractor was terribleThis is the second and last carport I will purchase from themCustomer service is irrelevant to them

Waited weeks for a carportUpon signing my contract I was told it would only be weeksThe first installer they sent out had me driving around my county to meet him and ended up turning his phone off and no longer answeringI spoke with management who then stated they would be here the following FridayI took a day off work because I (of course) do not want people at my home when I am not thereThey didn't show up and I went to another company because the carport was neededThey ended up showing up on that Monday with no noticeInstalled the carport while I was not there and cornered me to pay for it

I have a problem with a leak on the drain side of a 20xbuildingthe company has no one to talk to with some advicejust the girl at the desk (Abillee) who asked me what I meant by "the drain side" I needed help and they basically told me that after days I was on my own unless I wanted to pay $for an inspectionI wanted some advice how to fix the leak that is coming back up the roof and dripping onto the inside wallNot major but still wanted some help

We ordered a carport on March 24, At the time the company we purchased it through told us that Carolina Carport was on a 6-week delivery We were fine with that, it is now June We have called a number of times to check on a delivery date only to get the run around over and over againThey finally called last Friday to tell us they would be her on the 27th of JuneNow today they call and say it will be next Friday the 30thI asked to speak with a manager which I have asked everytime and have always been told we will leave them a noteToday I was not taking no for a answer, I was connected to Nichole, I explained my frustration and asked her for some tye of compensation her response was I am only able to give you 5% discountI asked her if they could through in the anchorsAgain she responded with she was only able to give us 5%I told her if the carport is not in my drive way completely set up by Friday the 30th at 5:00pm they could just cancel our orderHad I looked at thier Revdex.com ratings I never would have ordered from them.I have to give them a rate for this to post but is more than I would ever give them

I was quoted a price on April 27th on a large 24' x 30' building I had to have a concrete slab poured, so I was told to have that done On 5/the slab for my building was completed I then went back to my rep on 5/to order and pay for the building The price was $11, The day after ordering my representative called me and informed me that my quote was no longer valid and that the new price would be $more She told me that this was coming from Carolina Carports directly, not her No where on the quote does it give and expiration date The time between quoting and ordering was not excessive This is fraud plain and simple

First off, I wish I would have known that there were other complaints about this company, I would have never purchased the garage from themI paid for my garage in full...with this being said, I had to have Carolina Carports to come back out to fix the garage because it wouldn’t pass inspection & shotty workmanshipNow, the roof is leaking and called weeks before Christmas and was told it would be fixed, no update or call to inform me what was going on(...a leaking roof...really...who pays for a building to have a leaky roof...)I finally call back AGAIN the week before Christmas and was told that the company was closed for ChristmasNow it’s January 8th 2018, and I had to call customer service AGAIN to find out what was going onI was told that supposedly they were calling at the end of the week to schedule something for next week....TERRIBLE!!! I would NEVER recommend Carolina Carports!!!

Hi I ordered a x enclosed carport on 4/27/from Paul a sales rep of *** a partner company of CarportI was told about how long before it would be delivered and he said about weeksI got call from Carport on May from Carport and was told they got my order and would call me back about days before deliveryThe last week of May I called Paul back and he told me to call Carport which I did and got told they was running behind and date now is week of 6/which I called Paul back and he said he see what he could do, I never heard backOver past few days I have left Paul several messages and he did not call back till I contacted his manager on 6/He contacted Carport and we got told it be probably more weeks when I told him I thinking to cancel order he informed me it would be at least months before I could get my deposit backHow does a company treat customers this way and stay in businessRick F *** FL

This company is the biggest bunch of liars I have ever encountered in the retail fieldI purchased a carport last year, within a few months someone damaged one end, so I called ordered the parts the 1st week of May 2016.....and like the other I am told they will be in the "area" in 3-weeksWell the last week of June they called, they are staging the order (one sheet of metal, one post, and one finish trimthe girl ask if I want installed...surprised that they would install I said yes! I asked how much, the girl put me on hold came back and said no extra charge...but instead of being delivered on July 1, it would be the following week, agreeing the week came...no call....I called and got the run around that they were trying to get a "truck" together....they called August 2, said they will be dropping off my material the following, I explain it was to be installed....I go round and round with sales girl, she puts me on hold comes back and said "management" is requiring a site visit (I had already provided pics on the building to make sure they understood the damage) At this point I requested to speak to a member of management, I was told they were not there...when I questioned the girl on who she asked...she then replied that all management was in a meeting....I told her to just drop it, and I will install...so my delivery date was August 18....no call..no materials, I called late in the afternoon, they "claimed" they could not reach the contractor, I called the following day....same story ...said they have been calling with no answer....I questioned this...why???? Ok today is August 31....I called again yesterday..now the story is ....let me get with management on when we can get it to you.....bottom line...THE ALL LIE!!!!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CAROLINA CARPORTS!!!!! Like me you might pay for the material but never get it!!!!! The time I have spent on the phone is stupid....they never call and I still have not received a call from management!!!! Jerks!!!!!!

Ordered my carpet in Feb, never got a callback, because the contracted agent who I bought the carpet from said that they would contact meHe was a little shadySo we called him a couple times, he wouldn't return or callsFinally contacted Carolina carport and they were all over itThru stayed in contact, we hammered out a date, and then we cancelled on themThey followed up and we set a new dateThey contact our the installation and I have to tell you when the guys showed up, we were thier 5th bull*** of the dayWe ordered a really huge buildingThe company was MonteroThey went right to work and worked until dark.Stated that they would be back at 6am to finishThey came call at 6am to finish and were so cconsiderant of the time, that they didn't disturb anyone with thier construction noiseWe roles out of bed at am and watched them finish up the jobIt was perfect!! Looks better that I thought it would and these guys had us to walk around before they left and made sure we were happy with itWe are!!!!! This was the easiest and best planned job of any construction project we'd ever hired outI would recommend this company to anyone!!

First of all, yes, it took two months longer than I was originally told, to get my carport installedAnd yes, they did cancel the first install dateHaving said that, the installed carport was of excellent qualityI was surprised at the strength of the steel, I could barely get my drill bits though it when I went to close up the sidesInstallation took only hour, and the total cost of the install was well below what the competitors were chargingSo I guess it's a trade off, if you want a high quality low cost carport, you are going to need a flexible installation schedule, and some patienceHope this helps

This is the worst company I have ever dealt withThe carport was installed crooked on the driveway and stacked on bricks taken from the customers back yardAfter installation of the carport the customer and myself inspected itIf you placed your hand on it and applied small amount of pressure the carport would sway 3-inchesWhen we had specifically ordered longer poles for this very reason of leveling the carportAfter calling them and alerting them to the safety issue with the carport they said it would be fixed, months later they had still not fix a dangerous improperly installed carportThe customer was scared to even go into his driveway from the fear of the frame falling on himAfter sending another company to reinstall it properly, because it was very clear they were not going toWe had a balance of $1,and we wanted to subtract the cost of correctly installing the carport from the remaining balance, they have repeatedly refused to make that deduction from the balanceThey have constantly called harassing for collections and even threatened to come take the carport from the customers homeWe have called constantly trying to work with them only to be met with hostility, rudeness, contempt and disregardEvery time we call and talk to them they imply we were in the wrong for fixing something that they installed incorrectly and was very DANGEROUSMultiple times they have told us they are turning it over to a manager and would get back with us and never haveWeeks later we hear from the collections department againThis is the most unprofessional company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing withAfter reading these reviews it seems I'm not the only one who has had trouble out of this dysfunctional mess of a companyIf I had the option I would give this company a star rating and advise anyone looking for a carport to find another company

I ordered a carport in June of and am still waiting delivery and installation Every time I call I am told weeks and was promised it was on the truck and ready for delivery December 1st I had to call them to confirm a delivery time - the did not contact me I was told I "may" get it before Christmas Now receiving it before Christmas depends on the weather - my address is central Pennsylvania what do they expect for December weather? They do not contact me, they do not have any reasons for delays, they simply say more weeks This is very unacceptable business practices

They cut the back bottom of the back of the garage it has gap and leaksWe made the purchase from a site in Roanoke, Virgina on *** Avenue in MarchWe have called and they have called a lot to change the date to make the repairsThey have broken so many appointments I have lost countIt rained a lot that was initially the excuse for the cancellation for the crew coming from North CarolinaRecently the last appointments last one 6//and several priorThey had us waiting not to show up againWhen you call they have lied several times stating the truck is on the way as of yet no repairs have been madeWe have called several times to escalate this to management only to get the same results no shows with no apology or compensationThe customer service and management avoid making any restitution in getting the matter resolved in hopes you will go away so they can walk away from the sloppy job that was done for the thousands of dollars paid for sub standard garage struct

I just had a Carolina Carport installed, and they were the best I have hadThe crew was from Dallas, Tx, came early and gave great serviceAlso, EVERYTIME I TALKED TO CAROLINA CARPORTS, THEY WERE VERY HELPLFULL I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS, BECAUSE THESE FOLKS ARE GREAT

Stay away from buying their productThey lie to their authorized dealers on delivery times, told me 4-week, it has now been months, got a call finally on a Friday for a Monday install, got everything moved and ready, only to have installers not show up or callI called the company the next day to be told a story about the installer and they would set it up for days later, always late afternoon, which I am told is between 6-pm ? Again, no one shows up or callsWorst company I have ever dealt withI am ready to lose my deposit and find a reputable company that actually cares about their customers
