I decided to try Al Coronado Plumbing on the spur of the moment a few months ago when my water heater starting leaking on a Saturday afternoon. It was an emergency and it was a few hours before a U of A football game. The plumbers I used on the past were usually slow to respond and typically the plumber who responded generally did not have the supplies to fix the problem and would charge me to diagnosis the issue and then leave to go find parts and charge for for that as well. Emergency or weekend calls cost more.

I called Al Coronado to see how they would respond and I was quickly connected with [redacted] who came to my house within the hour. He stabilized the problem before more damage occurred and contacted a restoration company right away without any obligation. He diagnosed the various code infractions and other issues that needed to be addressed as part of the replacement process and scheduled the replacement with a high quality water heater within hours. The plumber, [redacted] did an beautiful job and corrected a number of problems that the original installer created years before. The water heater was replaced and the restoration people were on the job before the game started. [redacted] then handled the paperwork and coordinated the City inspection and the inspector commented on the quality of he work.

A few months later my other water heater also starting spewing water into the house as we were packing to leave on vacation. I called [redacted] again because I needed it fixed ASAP and there was more damage this time. [redacted] dropped everything and was at my house within the hour. [redacted] replaced the water heater by that afternoon and the restoration company was in removing drywall and repairing damage in time for us to leave town with everything under control.

I don't mind paying for prompt, professional and quality work and that's what Al Coronado provided. [redacted] and [redacted] were great to work with.

Had a water leak that I was trying to locate the source, had another plumbing company come out and they said the leak was the main water line and gave a estimate for 1,800$to replace. Then I called to get another an called Al Coronado and in two hrs. had a person here to look at my problem. In less than 10 min [redacted] had the problem found and solved with out having to dig or replace anything to stop the leak. It is in our irrigation system which I have never used so we just turned off the valve to the system... Thank you [redacted]!!! Great Service!

On April 30, 2014 I submitted a review of Al Coronado Plumbing about the "excessive" charges (over $6,000) for replacing a galvanized pipe and installing shut-off valves. I have since had a conversation with Mr. Coronado and he refunded the excessive charges over and above what the job was actually worth. I have received the refund, and am satisfied that the matter was resolved.

Our whole experience with Al Coronado was excellent! We came back to Tucson after a long vacation and the Water main outside of our home had burst. My husband called Al Coronado and [redacted] came right away and gave us an estimate. The work began immediately, and within a week the patio had been dug up...And the water main was replaced with a superior product. [redacted] was a superb technician. He worked diligently and also installed a new hose bib, which brought our 30-year-old property up to code. Recently we had a problem with the water pressure to our house, since our house was over 15 years old we made a call to Al Coronado Plumbing. Our service advisor called before he came out and identified himself, which is very important in our senior community. After arriving he was like a surgeon and checked out our water pressure using the latest in technology. After going over what needed to be done to fix we were promised about a 24-48 hour turnaround. The technician came out the following day, which was [redacted] and he was so professional from the time he rang the doorbell to let us know he was starting the work until he finished in seemingly record time. This is the second time we have used this company for work in our home and both times they nothing less than efficient and super professional. I would use this company again and again if necessary.

On Friday July 3rd., I found I had a leak under my kitchen sink and went on line to find a plummer. Al Coronado was one of the ones that had a direct person I could speak to , instead of the call centers other plummers use. They had someone at my house the same day. They gave me an estimate for replacing my faucet the next day (after I went to store to buy a new one.) The plummer , [redacted] showed up on the 4th, right when he said he was going to be there and replaced my faucet right away. NO hidden or unexpected extra charges [redacted] was very courtious, clean and knowlegable. I will call Al Coronado for any future plumbing problems. FOR SURE!

I called Al's Coronado Plumbing and was greated with a very friendly hello. Their customer service was impeccable and the assistant on the phone was very helpful. They were able to send a plumber named [redacted] that day, and he even came early. He explained what could be going on and gave a fair extimate. He got straight to work and found that the job was going to have to be tackled from the roof level. He was very courteous and kept my bathrooms clean and did so with the upmost respect. This past Saturday, August 27th, our hot water heater developed a leak; we called our heating & cooling provider, [redacted] but his company did not handle water heaters, He recommended Al Coronado Plumbing.

We called and contacted [redacted] who came to our home as advertised, and analyzed our problem in an efficient professional manner. Laid out cost options, and made it relatively easy to make a decision without shopping around.

The next day, again as advertised, [redacted] proceeded to do the heavy lifting so to speak, as he installed a new hot water heating unit. Once again, most impressive!

We would like to thank Al Coronado Plumbing for the excellent job they did on our plumbing for us. A year ago this month our water line burst while I was at church. My wife was at home working on her school work and called me. She was able to shut the water off and save a lot of damage. I raced home and called Al. We had a man on site in a couple of houres and he was able to determine the damage, the cost, and the completion date. As promised everything was completed on time and is still running smoothly. It is nice to have a company that leaves no guess work when they are done. A big thanks to ** and his crew.

Took two weeks to correctly install a water heater. For the amount charged I expect expert service. It was installed backwards and had to be redone, including the plumbing to it. Overall not satisfied except that we did get hot water and it eventually got corrected.

These folks are great. Arrived within 2 hours.....finished in one hour and very reasonable in cost. I would use them again in a minute
