Champion received a signed contract through our broker [redacted] agreed to a month term ( [redacted] ) with a fixed energy rate of 0.0890kWhThe effective start date was [redacted] [redacted] contacted Champion [redacted] and requested to cancel services *** was advised that her contract was months and if she choose to cancel she would be assessed an Early Termination Fee On [redacted] Champion received a drop request from the utility with an effective date of [redacted] [redacted] cancelled their service prior to the contract end date [redacted] Champion assessed an Early Termination Fee of $1,per the customer Terms of Service Section All charges are valid and due If you require anything further please feel free to contact me directly Regards, [redacted] ###-###-####

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint The contract they are referring to was done on a deceptive act on behalf of the company, Real Energy Solutions and their representative, [redacted] , that approached me about changing companiesI was told as I have been by other companies that I what I was signing for, which was only the first page, was giving him ( [redacted] ), permission to look for a better rate on a contract that was going to expire in [redacted] of the following yearThe other pages with, what appear to be, my initials I never signedAs a matter of fact I never saw those papers until I was approached by ChampionThe initials are all identical in every area, which all my initials are never the same and have a period after each set of initials that I do not accustom when I write themI believe that they were forged and I did not agree to this contractThe rate that is on the contract is higher than the one I had and doesn't make sense to me that I would have agreed on a higher rate instead of a lower one Regards,

The customer [redacted] completed a [redacted] enrollment on 7/30/15, for a month term at a fixed rate of 0.129240/kWhChampion submitted an enrollment transaction per the customer agreement on 8/12/15, with an effective start date of 9/29/ On 8/18/Champion received a drop request on 8/18/15, prior to the effective start date of service Champion assessed an Early Termination Fee in the amount of $1,due to the customer cancelling prior to the contract end date The rescission period to cancel is business days from the date of the ***Although the customer is outside of the rescission period Champion will release the customer with no penalty as we received notification they did not want to be with Champion on 8/18/ If you require anything further please feel free to contact me directly Regards, Anita L [redacted] 281-653-

On 1/23/the customer completed an enrollment via ***They affirmatively consented to switch their service to Champion effective 9/During the enrollment the customer affirmatively acknowledge she was authorized to make changes to the accountOn 10/12/the customer contacted Champion and advised they would be switching to another providerChampion advised the customer they would be assessed an Early Termination Fee as they were cancelling the contract prior to the contract end dateOn 11/3/Champion assessed an Early Termination Fee in the amount of $1,per the Agreement Terms of ServiceOn 1/25/Champion turned the account over to our third party collection agency as payment for the outstanding balance was not received.All charges are valid and due.If you require anything further please feel free to contact me directly.Regards, [redacted]
