Dear BBB,I received your email today indicating that you were marking my complaint as closed. I wanted to let you know that I had received a phone call from Chase which resulted in a voice mail saying that they would not be reimbursing me for my expenses as I had not form of proof that they had received the tax bills I sent them. They indicated that they would be sending a letter which I could share with BBB but as of yet I have not received that letter. Once I receive the letter I will be sure to forward it on to BBB.I am asking that you not close this complaint out.I am not happy or satisfied with their response as I did not sent all my tax bills to them using tracking information. They basically indicated that without proof they could not accept my word. I find it odd that they received all of the original tax bills as those were paid by Chase but for some reason they cannot account for any of the interim bills I sent them. How can I send all of the bills to the same address and for some reason only the interim ones cannot be located or they have no record of receiving them. My guess is that if they were not in my files then they were thrown out or destroyed rather than notifying me that I should not have sent them to Chase.I go back to my original complaint that this could have all been avoided had they practiced good customer service and given me the courtesy of a phone call or a form letter notifying me that I was responsible for the interim bills and that they would be taking care of the original bills but not the interim ones. They are the mortgage experts and should not assume that customers understand how real estate taxes and interim bills work. Very poor customer service. I am an excellent customer who pays all their bills on time and this is how they treat you. I did not ask for anything other than the penalties I incurred when I paid all of my interim real estate taxes after their due date. To them $783.78 is not a lot to keep a loyal customer happy but to that loyal customer that $783.78 hurts.I would caution anyone looking for a mortgage to not deal with Chase as they do not care about their loyal customers. One more time Chase refused to provide one of the following things:receipt signed by myself where I acknowledge the automatic paymentform with Chase information signed by myself where I ask to setup the automatic paymentthe three double payments that Chase charged me (for about $10.000) in since they cashed the check and then they triggered the automatic payment that I never authorized Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com,I was out of town for weeks and my job moved to a different city I attempted to log in to reply, however your routing system does not allow for a direct reply? I was attempting to answer via my mobile and was not having any luck.I have several hundred pages of documentation and phone records to send Since my complaint is about a refinance, however, the documentation has my ss#, my spouses ss# and all of our private information Should I really upload all of this, or do I need to redact all the sensitive documentation?I was sent a letter from Chase while I was out of town dated 12/30/ I have evidence of having to send records multiple times, in addition my phone conversations with the agents clarified immediately such questions as the ownership of other properties (this is NOT the case, they were pulling properties that belong to my Father-in-law, who has a completely different name, dob, ss#), They request w-2s multiple times, then requested complete tax returns as well, which we had to obtain from our accountant as our records are in storage The w-were submitted within hours of each request, and the fully executed tax return did not take more than days There was not a loan in our paystubs What Chase is looking at is my husband’s retirement plan We pulled out money to help pay down the debt, but this is not a loan Clearly a financial institution should be aware of the difference Also, this was never a question that was posed to me The letter dated 12/30/is the first I have heard of this “loan” The “employment discrepencies” they are siting are that I work for a company that was acquired by other companies within a year period I was asked to write a simple letter explaining the chain of ownership, which I did on the same day the request was made.The “property approval” Chase Bank is alleging is the item that took weeks This “property approval” was information they were requesting from the HOA Apparently, another homeowner, across town, is in a dispute with the HOA regarding a landscaping project and tree removal that was not authorized Chase made me pay the HOA $to obtain a copy of the legal papers for a property across town, and confirmation that the tarp that was used in the landscape project was not due to structural defects of the other person’s home!In every instance I replied quickly to the person asking for the information I always put my loan number on every fax to the company The problem with Chase is that the information is shuffled along in some sort of production line There are so many different departments involved, and then no one is allowed to speak to the underwriters The information has to go thru so many intermediaries that details are lost and time is wasted There is absolutely no reason why my refinance should have taken over months In addition to that, the reason for the refinance was debt consolidation The interest rates are killing us When I initially started the loan process on 6/24/2016, I was told it would be done by end of August, early September at the latest I was worried about falling behind on payments The loan representative I spoke to, Scott S*** NMLIS ID#***, said I shouldn’t worry, just make sure I don’t fall behind in the Mortgage and HOA payments and I’ll be good My credit was so good on 6/24/2016, that Scott was able to get me a better rate than he had originally anticipated Due to Chase’s mismanagement, we fell behind on payments and our credit rating fell THEN they denied the loan after months! My husband and I have been employed every day of every year with the same jobs for over years We have only had INCREASES in income Our home has INCREASED in value over the years We have not moved, nor have we purchased a new car in over years This decision by CHASE is completely ridiculous and now we are in a very bad financial position because they wasted our time for months.Please let me know if I need to upload the documents with my and my husband’s personal identifying and banking information, or if I need to redact the sensitive information.Thank you
