Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and I am willing to confirm that I did finally receive the refund I had requestedHowever, the wait was not due to a banking issueI was adamant with the last representative that I spoke to, that I be sent to the next tierUpon speaking with tier two, I was given the same hassle as the customer service representativesIt was only after explaining that I complained to the Revdex.com and would next contact the corporate office, that I was escalatedThe supervisor I spoke to ( [redacted] ), told me that a manager from the corporate office would allow her to approve my refund, if I email her a picture of the hotel receipt from the hotel I ended up staying in for the duration of my tripOnce I sent the receipt, my refund was issuedIn the end, I received my refund, but the process I had to go through to do so was tumultuousI hope that Cheaptickets does a better job with customer service in the future Sincerely, [redacted] ***

December 6, 2016Revdex.comComplaint Department – CheapTickets.comRe: CheapTickets Case #: O- [redacted] Dear Revdex.com,Thank you for taking the time to contact CheapTickets regarding an issue from our customerWe appreciate the Revdex.com allowing us to address the comments and concerns which have been brought to our attentionCheapTickets is disheartened the customer felt their concerns were not resolved adequately by our company prior to seeking further actions from youCheapTickets is responding to the consumer complaint from Esther [redacted] (Revdex.com case number [redacted] ) regarding a flight reservationWe understand from Ms [redacted] complaint she is requesting compensation for an airline schedule change.Our records indicate that on August 02, the customer self-booked a flight reservation for one travelersThe customers flights were operated by [redacted] Airlines, departing from Baltimore, MD to Miami, FL on November 22, and returning on November 27, 2016.From time to time and for a variety of reasons, airlines issue schedule changesWe understand that these changes can be inconvenient, time consuming and not customer friendlyHowever, CheapTickets serves as a third party intermediary with travel providers such as hotels, car rental agencies and airlines and is subject to the rules and restrictions of those providers [redacted] Airlines was the operating carrier and merchant of record (the entity that received the funds and the company that charged the credit card) on this itineraryCheapTickets has no control over when, or how often, airline initiated schedule changes occurCheapTickets cannot provide alternative flight options unless approved by the airline, and must adhere to the airline’s policiesOnly the airlines can make changes to flightsThese changes are not related to the type of ticket purchased or the company it was purchased fromAirlines rarely tell CheapTickets why they make a changeSchedule changes are often due to routing adjustments, severe weather, or staffing or maintenance issuesTo ensure the customer still retains a flight and is able to get to their desired destination CheapTickets must accept certain changes made by the airlinesWe are able to confirm that the schedule change was initiated on August 21, the customers outbound flights time was changedThe same day an email was sent to Ms [redacted] which was acceptedAs a result of the airlines changing the customers departure time we are able to verify that via CheapTickets.com the customers itinerary reflected the changes made.On December 6, CheapTickets contacted [redacted] Airlines to advocate on the behalf of Ms [redacted] in regards to a refundWe were advised that upon arriving at the airport at November 22, the customer was able to exchange the ticket allowing Ms [redacted] to full utilizer the ticketAs the customer was able to fully use the tickets value we are unable to refund the reservation.We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address the issues, brought to our attentionIf you have any further questions or concerns regarding this matter, please feel free to contact us.Sincerely, [redacted] Tier Customer Service

buyer beware!!!DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY!I booked what was suppose a to be a round trip ,nonstop flight, from LAX to RDUWhen I recieved the itinerary I only looked at the departing flight which was exactly the way I booked itA few days later I noticed that the flight back from RDU was not the nonstop flight LEAVING IN THE MORNING that I requestedIt was a stop flight WITH A HOUR LAYOVER IN SFO that left late in the evening and arrived at 1am!!!! This is not what I booked , and is not what I paid for!!! They told me that I would have to pay $to change it when this was there mistake!!! Not only did I not get the flight I paid for but now there telling me I , ME , I would have to pay $to the airline to fix THEIR Mistake!!!! When I asked to speak to a manager the rep told me that her manager would tell me the same thing and when I then insisted to speak to a manager I was placed on hold for over an hour so I eventually hung upDO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!
