I booked a trip for May through your website in January - I also purchased the "insurance" for the ticket at the same timeA very good friend of mine happens to be getting married on the same day as my return flightWhen I realized I would not be back in time for her wedding I contacted your company to change my flight to an earlier timeI was told that it would be an additional $PLUS the flightWhen I asked why I had to pay an additional $I was told that it was [redacted] that is charging the feeWhen I contact [redacted] to try and work directly with them, I was told that it was "Cheap Tickets" who was charging me the feeWhich is it? YOUR COMPANY or **? I have never been so disappointed with a booking agency than yoursWhen I contact the insurance company (at the suggestion of your team) I got no whereThis has been the worse experience and frankly your policies are unfairI literally want to change a flight from evening to morning and you expect me to pay a change fee of $200?! It's ridiculousThe flight is not for another monthI would expect a change fee of that amount in the mount that I was flying but not weeks out! I will never use your services EVER again and I will be sure no one I know ever does either

Complaint: 11676988I appreciate the response by the Cheap Tickets staffI request the cheap tickets staff to please review my complaint carefully along with my previous complaint through Revdex.com with a similar issueIf you look at the screenshot they are referring to with the date of Aug 19th, it shows a Payment Method with the last digits of my credit card listed, indicating a full purchaseI had to make a complete purchase to be able to provide CheapTickets with a screenshot with complete details of the flights in order for them to be able to compare the flight detailsThe screenshot I have from Aug or 11th with the cheaper price I found at another website, was not able to show the complete flight detailsAs I have mentioned before, I repeatedly tried to submit this screenshot through your website on those dates and was unable to do so due to an error on your website and finally submitted the updated screenshot with all the details once your website finally allowed for the submissionHad the cheaptickets website allowed for the submission in a timely manner (without an error) when I first attempted to submit on Aug 10th or 11th, they would have been able to verify the screenshots with live pricesThe same error occurred when I filed complaint # [redacted] with Revdex.com in the pastDespite being notified of this similar error in the past, it has occurred again and once again CheapTickets phone staff has been unable to help meI am humbly requesting a refund in the difference before proceeding with legal authorities Sincerely, Varnita [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Though I received their [redacted] refund, the case is not only about the refundWhen I contacted the customer service, different people talked different wayBefore I booked the flight, I called in to consult the refund policy, the person told me "everything is refundable within hours", and ensured me worry-freeHowever the second day when I was about to cancel it, I called in and the person told me the service fee should be charged upon cancellationThis behavior is cheating customers, and I don't know how many customers got cheated by this wayThe refund should not be considered as a courtesy credit at all but just refund since nowhere in their website stated that "a non-refundable service fee applied, but only free cancellation within hours!" so as informed by some of their customer repsIn addition, the person I talked in the second day was really rudeThey cannot just process the refund without any apology, so I request them at least to give me a decent apologyAnd if no one is going to monitor their business seriously, there will be more people cheated by their grey tricksNo more victims please Sincerely, [redacted] ***

I had to go to the Philippines from Knoxville TNI went last Winter and used [redacted] A round trip ticket was $thenThis fall, I went to book again only this time wanted just a one way ticket [redacted] and [redacted] both wanted $for one way and $round tripI tried other sites with the same quotesI finally found Cheaptickets and not only was the fare just $but the route was much better with half the layover times!! I looked for bad reviews at different sites and forums and the only bad reviews I really saw were is posting that it "looks shady"I guess the word "Cheap" scares peopleMost reviews I read where the people actually tried the service were of a positive natureI booked the flight and right away had my confirmation numbersThe trip went well and I now have my fiance here with me in the statesI am posting this review because I only saw one posted and it was negativeThank you for helping me get my fiance, I hope this post helps someone else in need!!

This company is horrible to work withI purchased my tickets online and the total came up to $for airline tickets, when I hit "Book Now" it said the trip had been booked and the total was $2043.60!! Nowhere did it ever say there would be more fees! So I immediately called them and they cancelled it for meThe representative told me several times that the money would be available immediately (because I needed to purchase the tickets that night) Well, guess what? It won't be available for 3-business days! So now, I don't have money to book my tripI've been on the phone with them for hours and counting nowThey have hung up on me once, and now I am on hold because there is an hour wait for a supervisor and there is absolutely nobody in the office that is above these repsI don't know what to do nowI've never had this much frustration dealing with a companyeverI will NEVER use cheaptickets.com again
