When searching for a *** *** - *** *** *** *** *** and *** *** *** I found that the advertised price for the standard room on my dates were $ more per night than advertised as soon as I pressed "continue booking" I inquired why this price increase was occuring every time I tried to book one of these hotels, and the sales representative stated that this was a system delay and the main page was not updated/correct I repeated my search days in a row and lower prices were always advertised on the main hotel search page versus when I clicked on the hotel and started to book the room
Beware of the rate that you are actually receiving when booking on CheapTickets.com or *** (owner of CheapTickets) due to the "system delay"

Our records reflect on September 20, the customer accessed Orbitz.com and self-booked two Orbitz one way fares for two passengers; for herself and passenger Matthew S ***, departing on December 8, aboard *** Airlines from Orlando, FL to New York, NY. The return one way flight, with J** ***e as the validating carrier is departs from New York, NY to Orlando, FL
Miss *** contacted Orbitiz on November 9, requesting to proves a complete name change, on Mr***’s ticket adding Jennifer ***. She notes that she spoke to J** ***e Airlines who advised Orbitz could make this change for her.
When booking the flights the customer chose to purchase two Orbitz one-way flights. This flight type contains the following information in the booking path, before completing the itinerary, for the customer’s information on how these flights are handled by the airlines:

Your flight is a combination of two one-way fares, each subject to its own rules and restrictions.
If one of your flights is changed or cancelled, it will not automatically alter the other flightChanges to the other flight may incur a charge
While J** ***e’s fare rules, for this ticket, do allow a full name change, *** Airlines terms do not. *** would require the customer to cancel the ticket and rebook with the correct names on the itinerary and pay the cancellation penalty.
The efforts to make the changes Miss *** requested show our agent made the change to the J** ***e tickets, but this caused her *** flights to be cancelled with a penalty in an attempt to make both ticketed passengers match. The customer was upset with the cancel and re-book fees required by ***. The case was escalated to our corporate team, who were able to restore her tickets to the original purchased state for herself and Mr***.
Orbitz serves only as a third party booking intermediary for travel related companies and as such are bound by the terms and conditions, and in the case of airlines, the ticket fare rules the customer agreed to at the time of purchase. At this time, if she would still like to remove Mr*** and add Ms***, she will need to contact our customer service department for assistance and they will only be able to do so according to the fare rules of each one way fare. The *** terms will control the outbound flights, and they will require that she pay the cancel/change fees for the flights. She will need to determine if this is something she is would like to do or look at other options

We understand the customer is requesting a refund.Our records indicate on February 10, 2016, the customer booked rental car reservations – itinerary [redacted] – using the self-service tool on the Cheap Tickets website. Rental car was provided by [redacted] car rental, for pick up in Atlanta, Georgia on February 24, 2016, and drop off on February 28, 2016, for a compact 4/5 door car rental. The car collision damage protection was booked in conjunction with car reservation. The total reservation amount of this booking was $123.36.Upon further research, we were able to confirm on March 10, 2016, the customer contacted Cheap Tickets requesting a refund as they were unable to utilize their car reservations. At that time the assisting representative processed a full refund of $123.36 back to the customer’s original form of payment. The time it takes to process a refund depends on how quickly the customer’s credit card company takes to process refunds.  Regarding [redacted] Car Rentals request to process a credit check; the following terms and conditions were agreed to by the customer at the time of booking:ACCEPTEDFORMSOFPAYMENTUSE OF A DEBIT CARD TO RENT A VEHICLE IS SUBJECT TO A REVIEW OF YOUR CREDIT HISTORY. I purchased a ticket through them from Manila to Houston and when I boarded in Manila Bay said that there was no baggage transfer that I had to claim my bags in my plane transfer in Tokyo to Houston they have the worst customer service in the world I spent a total of 2 hours on the phone with them as well as the two airlines that we are flying cheap tickets kept saying that they do baggage transfer they're both Airlines said they don't so I had to eat incurred more fees at the to airport for transferring the bags they're the worst travel agency I have ever used and I travel a lot

fares are not guaranteed until they are ticketed. CheapTickets is not able to restore a fare once it is sold out or discontinued by the airline.
Airfares and availability change throughout the day, based on demand for the flight and the airlines' right to change them at any time. CheapTickets monitors these changes closely and makes every effort to keep our fare displays as current as possible.
As with any travel agency, we are required to apply the fares and fare rules in effect at the exact moment of your booking. Unfortunately, fares can change very rapidly as the carriers continually adjust their flight loads, especially during peak travel times.
Occasional technical issues our inevitable in the e-commerce industry, but CheapTickets strives to quickly correct any website problems we may have. Although I sincerely apologize for the website problems that affected your booking experience, CheapTickets cannot be held responsible for an increase in fares by the airline during these website issues.

The customer return flights were operated by ** Airways, with flights departing from Paris and returning to Los Angeles, CA on June 15, 2016.After further review of the customer’s account we are able to verify that these flights were booked online by the customer, therefore there was no error created by CheapTickets. Due to this we are unable to refund the customers ticket nor offer any sort of compensation. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and I am willing to confirm that I did finally receive the refund I had requested. However, the wait was not due to a banking issue. I was adamant with the last representative that I spoke to, that I be sent to the next tier. Upon speaking with tier two, I was given the same hassle as the customer service representatives. It was only after explaining that I complained to the Revdex.com and would next contact the corporate office, that I was escalated. The supervisor I spoke to ([redacted]), told me that a manager from the corporate office would allow her to approve my refund, if I email her a picture of the hotel receipt from the hotel I ended up staying in for the duration of my trip. Once I sent the receipt, my refund was issued. In the end, I received my refund, but the process I had to go through to do so was tumultuous. I hope that Cheaptickets does a better job with customer service in the future.

account, I do see that you contacted our office on December 19, 2015 to cancel your airline ticket on [redacted].  CheaptTickets Customer Service connected you to [redacted] to process your cancellation, because [redacted] ticketless reservations need to be cancelled with them directly.  Per [redacted] cancellation policy, cancellations needed to be handled directly by the customer.  I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.   On your behalf, I contacted [redacted] today, and I spoke to Customer Service Agent.  The [redacted] Customer Service agent advised that your ticket was cancelled and the refunded was processed for the full amount of $626.96 on December 18, 2015.  Per [redacted], please allow 7 business days for the refund to process and allow for 2 billing cycles for the refund to appear on your account.   Also, I found that you that you purchased travel assurance with our partner, [redacted] in the amount of $40.26.  Due to insurance laws, the cancellation must be done directly with them by you, the customer.  You can contact [redacted] at [redacted]     [redacted] we certainly regret your disappointment in our services, but we were making every effort to assist with your requests.  Thank you again for the opportunity to address your concerns.  We do appreciate your business, and hope we have a future opportunity to serve you.   Sincerely,   [redacted] CheapTickets Customer Relations Chicago, IL

Please be advised that CheapTickets understands the importance of disclosing and providing the associated terms and conditions with bookings so that our customers' can make informed decisions. During the booking process, you are able to see in full the rules set in place by the airline for the specific ticket you would need. Under the By clicking "Agree and Book," you acknowledge that: section of the booking process, it does state: "You agree to the fare rules and restrictions applicable for this fare." The fare rules and restrictions portion of the sentence is in blue, which when clicked on will take you to the complete rules of the ticket you have selected. By confirming the reservation you did agree to all terms and conditions of the tickets.
With a goal of being fair with all customers, airlines have developed uniform guidelines in applying their tariffs and fare restrictions, and there are generally no exceptions granted to these guidelines. As a travel agency, CheapTickets is required to apply the applicable airline fare rules when performing a ticket exchange or cancellation. Unfortunately, as a distributor of tickets for the airline, we do not have authorization to waive change fees or issue refunds for non-refundable tickets.
Per the fare rules placed on[redacted] and Bryan's tickets by [redacted] the reservation is non-refundable; therefore, they will each have the amount of their ticket to use towards a future [redacted] flight. They have until April 19, 2016 to complete travel using the credit and upon rebooking will be responsible for $200 [redacted] change fee, a $75 CheapTickets fee, plus any difference in the airfare, all per person.
