I am rejecting this response because:Though I received their [redacted] refund, the case is not only about the refund. When I contacted the customer service, different people talked different way. Before I booked the flight, I called in to consult the refund policy, the person told me "everything is refundable within 24 hours", and ensured me worry-free. However the second day when I was about to cancel it, I called in and the person told me the service fee should be charged upon cancellation. This behavior is cheating customers, and I don't know how many customers got cheated by this way. The refund should not be considered as a courtesy credit at all but just normal refund since nowhere in their website stated that "a non-refundable service fee applied, but only free cancellation within 24 hours!" so as informed by some of their customer reps. In addition, the person I talked in the second day was really rude. They cannot just process the refund without any apology, so I request them at least to give me a decent apology. And if no one is going to monitor their business seriously, there will be more people cheated by their grey tricks. No more victims please.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
Oluwabunmi [redacted] Dear Sir, In response to your email, dated June 12th, 2017, with regards to my Complaint ID [redacted]. Cheap Tickets stated in their response that " we can confirm when Mr. [redacted] booked the reservation; the flight was charged and paid directly to the airline"I disagree with this claim, and hereby attached a scanned copy of my "PURCHASE RECEIPT" which was issued to me by Cheap Tickets, via my email on Saturday, July 11th, 2015.Cheap Tickets response of May 20th, 2017, stated in quote "Upon researching the customer"s complaint, we were unable to find a flight itinerary related to the information stated in the complaint provided by Mr. [redacted]. Please provide the full itinerary number or other email address used to book the flight reservation for further research " In my response, dated May 23rd, 2017, I wrote, my quote " Cheap Tickets booking reference number : PBCTIX_206_768_2864, Lufthansa Record Locator : 8RNXJS and email address , [email protected] " this information are exactly the same information I stated in my original submitted complaint of May 5th, 2017. Once you key in this information into the system, it will automatically bring out all the information about the reservation, including the flight itinerary. The claim in Cheap Tickets first response of May, 20th, 2017, that they were unable to find the flight itinerary, with correct and same information for over 2 weeks, raises an eye brown about their sincerity. May 31st, 2017, Cheap Tickets stated in quote " we can confirm on Mr. [redacted] cancelled the reservation directly with the airline, therefore no refund was or could be processed by Cheap Tickets" " The customer was also advised several times by our customer service agents, the airline would need to be contacted directly in order to verify if any refund or future use credit was provided by the airline after the reservation was canceled" It also went further to say that I filed a dispute with credit card company. All the above claims by Cheap Tickets was already addressed in my response, dated June 2nd, 2017.SUMMARY:Therefore, from the above observations, it is obvious that Cheap Tickets's statements and the emails they sent to me are contradictory. In addition, Cheap Tickets had constantly attempted to manipulate the facts and offer misleading statements to cover up their shady deeds with me (as they have no doubt done to many other innocent victims that transact business with them). This raises questions about the Credibility and Integrity of Cheap Tickets. This practice is unethical in a civilized society and should not be condoned in USA. I have attached the scanned copy of the " PURCHASE RECEIPT" that was issued to me by Cheap Tickets, via my email, on Saturday, July 11th, 2015, to your email [email protected] Please see the attached scanned document.Thank so much for yous actions.Yours,Sincerely,Oluwabunmi [redacted].
January 04, 2018 Revdex.com Alaska, Oregon & Western Washington Complaint Department RE: Cheaptickets Case O-[redacted] Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for forwarding the Revdex.com Consumer Rebuttal from Ms. Krystal [redacted]. Cheaptickets, Inc. is once again responding to the consumer complaint from Ms. [redacted]) regarding a refund request. We have once again reviewed all details pertaining to your case. The hotel may waive fees as they see fit, in this case they have denied any type of refund for the reservation. As you may know the hotel is within their right to keep the funds paid to them for the reservation. As previously stated, Cheaptickets.com serves as an independent agent for airlines, car rental companies, and hotels. We are unable to provide a refund for the hotel reservation. Cheaptickets has reviewed all of the customer’s concerns in an attempt to resolve the case to the customer’s satisfaction. We have once again determined no refund will be provided to Ms. [redacted]. At this time we have no other option than to ask the Revdex.com to close this case. We thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address the issues that were brought to our attention. If you have any further questions or concerns regarding this matter, please feel free to contact us. Sincerely, Daniel [redacted] Tier 3 Customer Service
I recently booked a three night stay in Rome, Italy through cheap tickets.com at Star Hotels Michelangelo. I requested and paid for a "superior room with a balcony". When we arrived, we were assigned a standard room - no balcony. I provided a confirmation email to the front desk but they would not accept that as proof and insisted that I call my travel agent. It was a Sunday afternoon but cheap tickets.com was available to take my call. They quickly confirmed my room reservation, called the hotel desk directly and we were moved to another room. Cheap tickets.com did a great job taking care of this unfortunate experience. I would use them again and recommend their services. It's always a good idea to get all reservations in writing and keep contact numbers at your fingertips.

Dear [redacted] The Revdex.com
has shared your recent correspondence with CheapTickets so that we may assist
you further. It is my understanding that you are upset with the issues you
experienced with your seat assignments. I appreciate the opportunity to review
your account, and respond...
to your concerns. On behalf of CheapTickets, I
sincerely apologize for the disappointing experience, and the inconvenience
this has caused. Please know when booking a
reservation via the CheapTickets website, all seats are only on request. We
must receive confirmation from the airlines stating seats are confirmed or
under airport control. When we receive confirmation that seats are under
airport control; this means the airline will provide the seat assignments at
the gate prior to the departure. They will do their best to
accommodate all passengers together, but it always best to arrive a little
earlier, because there are more seats that will open up on the day of travel.
If you have special needs, it is always best to check with the airline directly
so that they may accommodate these needs. Also, some airlines will have seats
that can be purchased. Seat assignments are ultimately the decision of the
airline. Linda, we value you as a
customer, and as a gesture of goodwill, CheapTickets has issued you a $50 USD
future travel voucher to use on your next CheapTickets.com prepaid booking. Our
voucher is meant to emphasize our commitment to you, and we remain hopeful you
will continue using CheapTickets for your travel planning needs. Here are the instructions for
the future travel voucher: When
you make your next booking on CheapTickets.com, please forward a copy of the CheapTickets
Travel Document e-mail to us at travelvoucher[redacted].
Please reference case number [redacted] and my letter offering the $50 future
travel voucher in your request. CheapTickets will then issue a credit to the
card used for the new booking. This offer is valid for one year from the date
of this letter, until November 16, 2016.Linda,
thank you for allowing me to review this with you. We appreciate your business,
and we hope to have an opportunity to serve you in the future with your travel
planning needs.Sincerely, [redacted]CheapTickets Customer

I am rejecting this response because:I demand that the insurance policy remain fully in effect, unless and until the Cardholder authorizes its cancellation. I also demand that the credit charge be immediately refunded as the Cardholder did not authorize this charge transaction to be made. CheapTickets.com is clearly making a desperate grab for revenue they have not earned. AKA, Theft. Buyer Beware...I wonder how many more of their clients have had money stolen from them and if an enterprising attorney would like to know about it.
