discuss this experience.  Mr. XXX contacted us again on 7/17/2015 but our Representative handling the case was away from her desk and missed the call.  When trying to return the call shortly after, we received Mr. XXXX's voicemail.We have investigated this matter with the Hurstbourne, KY Dick's Sporting Goods.  Mr. XXX was interested in purchasing "Beats by Dr. Dre".  We have this merchandise in a glass case with several different varieties. The sign in the case advertising "Beats" for $199.00 were for a specific wireless tower Beats item and not the Wireless Studio Beats Mr. XXXX took to the register.  The sign most likely got shuffled around from associates grabbing merchandise from the case but it clearly stated the product that was on sale.  Once the correct pricing was confirmed the manager assisted by offering 10% on the item and the whole transaction for the confusion.  The customer did not accept in the store the day of visit.  We are very sorry that it appeared the sign was advertising the wireless studio beats.  In an effort to assist we will still honor a 10% discount on the wireless studio beats or a future purchase. We also understand Mr. XXX was viewing shoes on our website and was told that the shoes were in stock and able to be picked up the same day.  We were unable to find an order placed through our Buy Online, Pick -Up in store ordering system but would like to obtain additional information regarding the item so we can check inventory for Mr. XXX and also identify if we have a website issue.We suggest Mr. XXXX contacting us directly at ###-###-#### between 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. EST. Sincerely,Dick's Sporting Goods

These brands are very competitive and do not allow licensed retailers of their merchandise to discount their products.  We carry their products under the agreement that we will not sell their merchandise at a discount and the items Mr. [redacted] wanted to buy unfortunately fell into this category. from the company had it not been for the intervention of Revdex.com. There are still unanswered questions in this process as to how can they advertise a item at a price and after someone purchases the item cancel their order and not honor the sale price in the store and online. I think they have demonstrated very unethical bushiness practices and I hope anyone else who was harmed by this or similar sale adds that Dick's failed to honor have made their dissatisfaction known professionally through the appropriate ways.

Dick's Sporting Goods manager and I have spoken on two occasions. Once they offered to...

credit the installation cost and committed to having the installation completed properly.The installation company came to my home and leveled the rim. While here at my home the person adjusting the rim advised me of a defect in the product that was installed. According to the installation agent (employee of the installing company) the two piece pole system has a creased running from the bottom to the top (on both pieces of the pole system). I was contacted by the installing company June 5 @ 3:35pm  asking additional questions about this defect in the product. I was advised they would be in contact with me to get the pole system replaced and properly installed. I contacted a member of the local stores leadership via text on June 5th advising him on the status. He responded,advising me that he was not in the office but would be calling me the following day at noon. He did not contact me the following day. I made another attempt to update Dick's Sporting Goods local store leader ship that as of June 15th absolutely no response or progress in replacing the defective pole system. There is absolutely no commitment to correcting the install of what I have  been told is a defective pole system,making he entire basketball goal system unstable  and wobbling after simple short range  shot attempt. Dick's Sporting Goods and the Installing company are both aware that the issue is not resolved and have been aware of this since June 5, 2017.

reviewed her experience and researched the matter with the store manager. The interaction with the associate was addressed and Ms. [redacted] was reassured of this, but she was also advised that disciplinary action is not shared externally. We offered our sincere apologies for the interaction on behalf of the store and the associate.
Furthermore, per the terms and conditions of our return policy (listed on the back of all receipts), "Returns with a gift receipt will be offered a gift card or exchange." With that said, we will not be able to honor Ms. [redacted]'s request for a cash refund; however, our gift cards can be used both online or in-store at any of our chains, they do not depreciate in value and do not expire.

Lastly, we offered our customer service phone number to call us directly to discuss this matter in more detail. However, all options to assist and resolve this matter were declined by Ms. [redacted].
