RevDex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Navient was neither open to or willing to work on finding a solution. In so many words, I was told "it was their way or no way." During the times that I requested a forbearance on this Parent Plus loan, it was due to financial difficulties. I was my mother's caregiver and the sole source of income for both of us for more than yearsI, too, returned to school and am repaying my student loan. During my many calls to Navient, never did their 'rude' service representatives suggest I refinance my loan with Direct Loan. Now, that there is more than $50K in interest, Karen, the service representative, makes the suggestion. When my Parent Plus loan was transferred from Regions Bank to Navient, it was $73KI would like the interest and the monthly fees renegotiated. I have never dealt with a 'reputable' business that does not work with you when you have extenuating circumstancesAs well, Karen stated they could charge these fees because it is what the federal government does. Really!! Navient is operating a loan company, not a steward for reputable banks.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I received Navient's letter in the mailIt did not address ANY of my concerns My main concern was inconsistent reporting of my loansSome of my loans reports 'in forebearance' while others report 'late' for the exact same monthsThey offered no explanation for this They dont even address the conflicting reportingI have even sent proof showing the discrepancyThey just keep saying 'the accounts are reporting correctly

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID
10770976, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. They finally contacted us after you contacted them, but they have not given us any answer and definitely haven't allocated the payments we made to our loans Nothing has been resolved at all Quite opposite, the inaccurate loan is still accruing interest It is clear to us, that they allocated our payment to a loan that had already been paid off They keep saying they will look into things, but nothing is happening It is unbelievable of them to say that they are working with us to resolve the issue Yes, they assigned it to someone named Justin, but unfortunately nothing has happened We also paid off the remaining real balance of a little over $to see/show how this would be allocated, and again, some of the money was allocated to the loan that had already been paid off!!

Nothing in the Reply letter says anything about the mailed statements breaking down the "amount owed" and the back balance of the "late fees"So they basically admit they are deceiving the consumerUnless the consumer goes online to find out the breakdownI do not do too much billing online and the last thing I want is these crooks taking money out of my account every monthThey still would only take the Payment due and send me an E-mail saying I owe something for Late feesMost Kids nowadays just get their bill and pay it without lookingBut Navient has the notices set up with Minimal info and you have to pay by a certain dateNothing at all about late feesSo this was a shot in the dark, I was really hoping for some action from this agency to make them list what is on the online account right on the billing statements tooThey will just keep on deceiving consumersWhat happened to "No unfair Lending Practices"?
