Problem:There are anywhere from 30 to 40 loans listed with late payments on my credit report. My loan has gone from Sallie Mae to Navient/Dept of Education and now, since I am a teacher, FEDLoans will be managing my loan as part of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. I no longer have any understanding or control of my credit or a signed contract to reference all that is happening to my credit as a result of my students loans completely overwhelming my credit profile and the poor servicer management of it; however, the Fair Credit Reporting Act prorects me and allows me to know exactly why something is being reported on my credit. As a result, I am demanding that Sallie Mae/Navient/Department of Education send me VERIFIABLE PROOF as to every single late that is being reported on my credit profile. If this cannot be provided, as afforded by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, every single loan on my profile must show as current. As a 50 year old teacher approaching an early retirement to care for my sick mother, I need this completed immediately.Translate Desired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution:Correction to a credit reportselectDesired Outcome:All lates should report as current.

Problem:Second complaint. Navient listed to all voice recordings of my calls the past few months and reversed the negative credit information to all three bureaus. What was not addressed was my many calls TO Navient, all the lies I was fed with the different dollar amounts I was told I'd pay to include ALL of my loans, and yet I was billed a different amount for my monthly auto debit and now they are telling me (1), it does NOT cover all of my loans, and (2), the new total monthly amount due on my loans is MUCH more than I was quoted in all of the phone calls the past couple of months. AGAIN, SCREWING WITH ME! This issue needs resolved NOW!TranslateDesired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution:Contact by the businessselectDesired Outcome:Needs fixed, Navient, contact me.

I...

have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I spoke with [redacted] of Navient today.  He says he will mail payment history on loans concerning [redacted] He stated she had 2 loans 521.00 and 2979.00 = 3700.00; Parent Loan was 2859.00; which makes total 6559.00. Payments were made totaling 4,349.28 plus 471.48 = 4,820.76 6559.00 – 4820.76 = 1,738.24 left Now [redacted] said Parent Loan paid off in April 2013 and Student had deferred payment till January 2015. [redacted] claims no interest would have been put on till January because of student loan.   Do not see any notification to anyone at that time of any other payment due.  So of course Navient who took over Sallie Mae added interest which they say is now total of 2300.00 due. There is 2 years of no notification listed and now says the above is due. Seems like a scam to me to get more money. I guess though I have no other option other than to make payments but would like the amount to be stated 1,738.24.  Do I have any other options?  Can I do anything on my end?  Do not want our credit nor daughter’s credit bad.  Please advise. Thanks.  Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com:I...

received a response stating that my request to decrease the amount of my monthly payment was denied. I did receive a phone number to call and I plan to do so today. I am really attempting to work with Navient on this issue but they are not making any attempts to try to work with me.
Therefore, I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have recieved a letter from Navient, Office of the Customer Advocate, regarding my complaint to your bureau.  I absolutely do not except their reasons for not applying my student loan payments to principle.  The letter says they first apply to "fees (if applicable) and then to unpaid interest.  When I went to their website, there was not a breakdown of any moneys.  The only information showing was payments.  That's it.  I had no idea that there were any outside "fees" connected with my student loan account.  Why  did I have to pay as much interest as I did  for 3 - 3 and half years?  Their letter states:  "If the payment is insufficient to satisfy the current amount due, you will need to pay any past due amount to remain current."  (?)  No one could tell me what the "past amount" was.  The website does not breakdown any other information except that the borrower made a payment.    Their saying in the letter that I was not making "monthly double payments."  Well, I was paying $116.92 per month through automatic debit from my checking account.  If there was any extra fees owed, I had no knowledge. In any event,  my loans have been consolidated and I no longer have to deal with Navient.  I am greatful for that.  Their letter states that I am paid in full so I hope that I do not receive any more correspondence regarding loans from Navient.  Thank You.
