the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I have already scheduled to have a second company make the repairs that have asked for since this project began.  I want no further action from Empire.  We had two phone calls from Empire representatives attempting to send more subcontractors to our house.  When we asked about a manager coming the reps had no further information; then out of the blue - yesterday we received a call from a person calling himself a manager.  He arrived 30 minutes after the call.  He offered to send another subcontractor to our house to repair the tile, but would not remove baseboards.  I have no desire to continue to drag this process out.  I am moving on.  The trend will continue with this company as long as a customer will allow it - there will be no more Empire  subcontractors at my house.

We thank the customer for their feedback, however the carpet is well out of warranty (installed six years ago.) The local office has left messages for the customer to discuss the cost of the service without a return call.

The General Manager ended up coming and looking at our floors himself and he agreed that we needed new floors that the first installers did it wrong.

We have been advised that inspection is scheduled for Tuesday, January 9th.

jobs so our repair was cancelled for today- even though we took yet another day off of work. The only option that was offered to us was to reschedule, for a 3rd time, for another weekday next week. We are not taking any more days off of work after we have been very flexible with Empire- we have taken 5 days off of work, had 2 installation crews not show up, had one shoddy repair with a promise to order more carpet and repair it correctly only to find they lied and said they repair was done, and now Empire is kicking the can further down the road cancelling the appointment last minute because they are not able to perform basic scheduling. I have spent countless hours on the phone with general customer service, sent pictures and measurements, and we have gotten no where. This company has earned a rating of F with this family.

We inspected the blinds and they were found to be defective by manufacturer error.  We have ordered the blinds, and have ordered an additional three blinds as a courtesy.

I am rejecting this response because the business promised repairs at the cost of the companies and a monetary credit. There has been no communication regarding monetary reimbursement nor repairs. It seems the only way this will get rectified will be in court proceedings as this was installed leds than a year ago.

We appreciate the customer contacting us regarding their concerns. The local office has inspected and contacted the customer regarding an offer to service, including replacement of the carpet on the stairs, under the warranty at no cost to the customer.

Per the customer’s requested settlement, we have offered to replace the kitchen floor. They have now refused replacement. We are happy to move forward at the customer’s earliest convenience. If the customer would like to select another product for replacement, we would be happy to do that for the difference in the cost.

We have been a full service flooring provider for over 50 years. Our pricing is all-inclusive and unfortunately we are not able to break it out line by line. During your in-home appointment, our goal is to inform you of the total cost of your job. Since most stores are not alike in their complex pricing information, our customers typically find the simplicity in an all-inclusive price to be convenient and easier for making purchase decisions. We regret you do not. We thank the customer for their feedback.

Service to the transitions was completed on May 27th. Additionally, we have offered to refund the service fee for the repairs out of warranty.

I spoke with Ms. [redacted] twice today to confirm agreement.  Said she would email and regular settlement paperwork for full refund of $1825.00. I am to return paperwork and a check will be sent to me. I was also told to keep the blinds without any warranty.As of this hour 11:05pm Tuesday Sept, 12th I do not have the agreement papers by email.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted],  Per my conversation with [redacted] a   Executive director of empire today, they still cannot honor the $3900, but they are willing to possibly do it for $4100,  which the lowest competitive price I received was $4120. Per our conversation I am to fax that  Competitors price over to him next week and we will go from there.  I will continue to update Revdex.com and all of my social media pages about Empire today and they willingness to either make a customer happy or not.
