I signed up for the $trial subscription and never authorized for my account to be charged $for a full subscription accountI only signed up for the $because I had to to be able to read the messages in the inboxThere was no disclosure stating that my account would auto renew for $after the days was upI have already contacted their "customer support" online team AND ALL I GET IS SAME RESPOND THAT I DID AND I NEVER SUSCRIBE FOR THIS OTHER THAN A DAY TRIALI want someone to contact me about my refund immediately RIGHT NOW

I signed up for a 30-day trial subscription on I just found out they charged my credit card $n 9/**, 10/ [redacted] and 11/ [redacted] without my consent I notified the company within days of the initial trial that I was cancelling my trial subscription They did not have my consent to charge my credit card for three more months of service beyond the initial trial

Roomster falsely advertises their productThey claim to be a roommate/housing connection serviceTo gain access to their "product" (i.emessages from potential roommates), you must purchase a subscription to their serviceI was initially notified that I had three messages from potential roommates, after joining the site and emailing three housing adsAfter purchasing a subscription, it became apparent that the other "users" of the website were spam For one, the users I were contacted by all stated they were looking for roommates in the state of "California," provided no details on the city of residence, and had images off of google, rather than the city I was specifically searching forThey were clearly spam accounts Most significantly, I initially found Roomster through several [redacted] ads, where a potential housing ad or roommate would contact me, telling me that they had housing that fit my needs (as I had a [redacted] ad up), but that for further correspondence, we

My apartment was burglarized the late night of August **, I lost my phone, jewelry, computer, my rent and savings etcI no longer felt safe in my homeIt took over a week to get a new phone, and I did not have access to a computer for some timeI started looking for a new place, so I could once again feel safeI signed up with roomster looking for a roommate situation, I was having no luck since you cannot view messages from peopleI decided to go ahead an pay $for a day trial just to read the messages I had sitting in my inboxEvery one of them was a dudThe next day, I found a wonderful lady outside of roomster who was willing to help me get in to her apartment and work with me given my situationThat day I tried canceling my subscription with roomster, but I kept getting an error via the appBeing locked out of all of my emails, up until yesterday, 816, I could not send them an official request to cancel by emailI am a bookkeeper by trade, and I prefer t

Charged me $after I cancelled my accountI do not give them permission to charge meI want a FULL refund

This corporation started charging me $a week ever since I stopped using itNow I cannot cancel my subscription through [redacted] because it's an automatic renewal service

I was told online that my trial subscription ended on 11/ [redacted] and that I would be charged on that date I went online and cancelled my trial on 11/ [redacted] and was still charged on 11/** I went back on the site and saw that it said that I never cancelled (absolutely not true) I cancelled again and reached out to the company I have been arguing with them for days I have tried the phone number listed but it directs you back to the site and hangs up on you The messages I keep receiving from "support" do not make sense and do not address the issue I'm so upset and need to be refunded for $ This is infuriating

This company has an unscrupulous way of tricking people into paying for an expensive monthly charge- in order to use the service for only a couple daysSo I paid for the couple days, forgot to cancel, and it charged me around $I noticed the charge and understood it was my fault for not cancelingI immediately unsubscribed which I have a photo to proveNow my account was charged $AGAIN! So I've paid them $for almost zero service and they leave no phone number to call and complainSo I am left to file this complaint

I made a post on [redacted]  about an hour ago and have already been contacted times with Roomster spammers trying to get me to use their siteOn top of it being a poorly run site, they are going about the wrong way to build a customer baseEven if they had a good website, I wouldn't use it

I signed up for a three day subscription on [redacted] at a cost of $I was just charged $45.95, I have reached out to customer service and had zero responseOnly by reading other Revdex.com complaints have I discovered that my "automatic" renewal was most likely done at the full month subscription priceThe "renewal" price is in no way made clear when you initially sign up for the service For use by the company in locating my account my [redacted] information is: [redacted] Thank you for the help [redacted] ***

Negative experience--same sort of thing that others have mentioned hereI sign up for a 5-day subscription (which requires you to also say, "yes, you can charge me for the next month when that subscription ends")I forget about that subscription, call the day after I am charged for the month-long subscription, and I am told repeatedly that they only offer refunds if "there have been no Services rendered to the User" I eventually got a prorated refund--but only after a lot of time wasted going back and forth with a rather frustrating customer service agent on their website (they offer no phone number to call)I had to specify that I wanted the subscription to end immediately and to not use any of their services for the duration of the new subscription (the remaining days in the month-long subscription)It took a while (I count messages between me and the customer service rep), but they at least get stars because I did eventually get a partial refundUnfortunately, they even charge a 15% "handling fee" on all refunds The company has described their refund policy in press releases and on their website as a "no questions asked" policyThat was not at all the experience I had

I signed up for a day trial which their company clearly states is a trial [redacted] I have a snapshot of their ad on their website to prove itI started my trial on 7/ [redacted] at 6:18pm and I canceled my trial on 7/ [redacted] at 11:amI canceled my account before I completed my HOUR trialHowever, my account was charged a reoccurring charge of before my trial was technically upHad they not posted the hours of the duration of the trial then I would not complain about the charge However, since they do state that it is a hour trial then I should not be charged until my "time trail" expiresI have electronic receipts with time stamps to prove the said aboveThis has happened to various other costumers as wellI have tried to contact them via their online help, however, they are very little help

I ordered day subscription for $ on 12.**which proved to be completely useless as no one has replied to my ad and messages (looks like the people are not real!)Then I received a “message” (which was later removed once I paid !!!) but could not open it as my subscription had expired, so I bought another day subscription on [redacted] for $ Then on [redacted] I was charged $for the subscription I never ordered, did not authorize and simply don’t need! I contacted the customer support regarding this issue but they were not helpful This site is a complete scam, I did not have person from there to view the room (and I had around from another website), the profiles are not real, and they send fake messages to trick you into buying the subscription! And in addition they keep charging once the subscription you ordered is over?!

This company Sucks, DO NOT USE THIS APP ROOMSTER THEY TOOK MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT AFTER I WAS ASSURED MY ACCOUNT I HAD FOR ONE HOUR , I REALIZED I DID NOT WANT THEIR CRUMMY SERVICES BECAUSE PEOPLE I KNOW VERY WELL TOLD ME HOW THEY ALL GOT THEIR MONEY TAKEN FROM THEM ALSO:( THIS SUCKS AND NOW AFTER CANCELLING A DAY TRIAL THAT I ONLY HAD FOR ONE HOUR THEN CANCELLED HAS NOW CHARGED MY ACCOUNT DAYS LATER OUT OF THE BLUE ??? WHO DOES THAT?? IM PISSED OFF!!

Began a 5-day trial subscription on 1218, after which point I would be charged more moneyNo problem with that, was all set and ready to cancel before Sadly I did not take a screenshot of the account stating 12/ [redacted] so I have no proof (the dates have since changed because of my new, unwanted, subscription)

9/ [redacted] if you respond to a room posting on Craigslist, it's a bot telling you to sign up at Roomster and pay for an account to do business thereIt's deceptive advertising with absolutely no disclosure ahead of time

Roomster is a scamThey deleted my account after dayTheir contact links only work if you have an accountSince they deleted my account, I was unable to log in and use their Contact Us linkThis alerted me to search Revdex.com100% negative reviewsFurther research online, they are auto billing consumers that sign upI had to change my credit card number to ensure I didn't fall into the same trapHow horrible that Roomster was and is an app that is approved and available on [redacted] downloadable apps for iPhoneRoomster is fraudulent

Roomster's business seems to subsist on newcomers to its platformYou will be asked to pay for a free trial period in order to be able to use Roomster's messaging service and when you do finally see "all" the messages you've received in reply to your advertisement for either a roommate or room, you'll find nothing of useyou will find that Roomster has simply forwarded you another Roomster user's advertisementThankfully, I remembered to cancel my trial subscription before I was charged full priceTruly a waste of my time and money using their "services"

DO NOT USE THIS SITE! I purchased the day subscription and at no point I was told that I would be charged $the second my days was up! The only phone number available just sends you to an operator saying " [redacted] " I tried the [redacted] helpit does not lead you to help, it simply takes you to your profileI also did the refund for which I only am supposed to get $back when I only had the account for days after my days endedComplete crap of a companyI think it is sad that the operator automatically tells you that a refund is available, shows that they are completely aware of the disgusting scam they created

I signed up for a three day trial with Roomster and gave them permission to charge my debit card through Landmark Credit Union on 9/*/ This company then used my account info to charge me for a $one month fee I would like my money bank and the Revdex.com to look into finding out if this is illegal and pressing charges against this company so that this doesn't happen to others potential customers
