Collins Comfort Masters

I had a new HVAC system installed on June 1, 2022. (It has a whole house filtration system.) It is now August 16, 2022 and I have had nothing but problems with it since it was installed. They have literally been out every 2 weeks to "fix" the issue. The system freezes up and stops cooling, For weeks ALL I've heard from them was it was the filter is too dirty. THE FILTER! AFTER 2 WEEKS! NO A/C unit on earth needs a filter changed every 2 week! There is something seriously wrong with a unit that needs to have it's filter changed every 2 weeks! My old system would need its whole house filter changed once a year! Why does this system need one changed every 2 weeks.
I am 100% NOT a happy customer and would highly recommend you avoid this company and it's HVAC systems at all costs!
I am left wondering how long will it take before they realize the system is a piece of st and replace it.

John L serviced our 3 units 30 Nov. He was extremely thorough and by checking a 2nd time found a leak that was in one unit-had come from the factory loose. He corrected the problem and refilled the unit. Great service!!

Collins Comfort was very efficient in sending out a service technician within six hours of our original phone call to them. The service tech, Juan B, was extremely professional and helpful in addressing the issue.

Fred was my service guy and has been for.... I guess.... 8-9 years. He even does my brothers in Scottsdale. Like him and his honesty and job performance. Thank you for rescuing my family and my sanity Dan Long and Ryan! Our a/c unit completely broke down in the middle of an AZ June monsoon season and Ted Chacon, CC's sales rep was at our door that same evening. He was able to schedule Dan and Ryan to install a new unit within two days. Ted also helped us get temperary relief until the permanent install! Ted was straight-forward in our unit's assessment and gave us plenty of options for the new unit. He didn't try to nickel and dime us and let my husband and I discuss what was best for our home and finances.

Dan and Ryan worked tirelessly all day to install the furnace in the attic and the unit outside, amid the sweltering conditions! They were nothing short of professional and courteous! I can't thank these guys enough!

We had Collins Comfort Masters replace an aging A/C unit today and both my wife and I were really pleased with the whole experience. From our sales guy (Ted) to the installers (Dan & Ryan), we couldn't have asked for more. Our installers showed up exactly when they said they would and were very professional. They answered my questions and took great pride in their work. I'll say that they have a tough job but it didn't seem to bother them. The quality of their work was better than I could've imagined. In fact, we'll be having Collins Comfort replace the A/C unit at our rental property this month. I'll be requesting Dan & Ryan for this install as well. Everyone knows that having an A/C unit go out makes for a bad day but Collins Comfort Masters made everything so easy. I highly recommend them.

Collins came out to install a new AC unit and we were very pleased with the installers, Angel and Armando. They were friendly, personable and hard workers who were quick to answer a question or find out the answer if they didn't know it.

Though it's painful to spend that kind of money:), Collins and their customer service from top to bottom made it tolerable.

We first used Collins for a new AC in April of 2016 and they were excellent!!!! When we discovered a leak at our kitchen sink we knew we would only call Collins. Cameron was out the same day. He is excellent!!!! Beyond quality work and very professional. We would never consider calling anyone but Collins Comfort Masters. We recommend them to everyone!!!!

They reported on time, were very well organized, hard working, professional, knew what they were doing and did it efficiently, predictably, happily and cleanly. I'm told the team leader was Dan L and the team members were Jose V, Lujandro B and Armando G. I'm very pleased and saved... I thought I would die from the heat (thank goodness that one of our old units still worked)... I would give them A+++++ but there was an empty gatorade bottle left in mom's closet which 'spooked' her a bit... I purchased a new Lennox Heating and Cooling system a year ago through Home Depot, Collins was the company Home Depot worked with for the new system, during the install the install team found damage to the unit after it was unpacked, to their credit they informed and showed me the damage. They contacted the shop an requested another unit be brought out. Being they didn't have one just like it they sent out a better unit! A couple of days ago the system stopped cooling. I did the normal checks and then called Collins, they sent out a Service Tech who arrived within the hour. It was a very simple issue where the drain plugged up causing the float interlock to trip. David D. explained what the issue was & showed me, He explained that the condensation drain needs to be cleaned at least once a year to prevent this from occurring. This is a normal function of an annual service and that by having this service preformed every year it keeps my warranty in force. Best part no charge for the service call! I have been pleased with Collins, everyone I have dealt with from the Sales rep, Install team, Dispatcher and Service rep.

As you can see from the complaint, the homeowners issues appear to be with the manufacturer,[redacted], and not Collins Comfort Masters. We have already contacted[redacted] and we are setting up a site visit with [redacted] and[redacted].

Collins comfort master came out yesterday for my annual ac tuneup. Bill did a great job, was honest and very informative. I highly recommend Collins Comfort masters.

Great company, and great service.

We have been doing business with this outfit for about 10 years. They are reliable, the work is priced fairly and they are very honest. On September 23, 2016 we had to have our A/C air handler and coil replaced. Anthony and Alex, the techs who did the work were professional, the work was thorough and the job was left clean.

I am a retired general contractor and I know how work should be priced and I know the difference between quality and krap. This company gets a 10 out of 10. Great job!
