Collins Comfort Masters

Collins comfort master came out yesterday for my annual ac tuneup. Bill did a great job, was honest and very informative. I highly recommend Collins Comfort masters.

As you can see from the complaint, the homeowners issues appear to be with the manufacturer,[redacted], and not Collins Comfort Masters. We have already contacted[redacted] and we are setting up a site visit with [redacted] and[redacted].

It was a good, fast service. The person who helped me, Juan, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommend.

I had two separate people from Collins come look at my AC unit. Not only did they tell us completely different things were wrong, both wrote down on their official report something totally different than what they told us. They seemed to be fundamentally dishonest.
The second guy wouldn't even consider making repairs (which he priced at about $1600), insisting that we had to get a new entire AC unit. We had another company come out the next day and he made the repairs for less than $800. My AC now blows ice cold, no thanks to Collins.
Finally, they had the gall to ask me to post a review for them. Here is my review: dishonest and overpriced.

Our two A/C units were 19 years old and it was time to replace them. We signed up for a quote, from Collins, at Costco. From that point on, all scheduled phone calls and appointments were on-time, and with professional service.
It started with Max providing a clear/detailed quote. We purchased two A/C systems and to our surprise, were told one system was not available, so they upgraded to the next model at no additional cost. Costco/Collins was offering a substantial discount which made their purchase price very competitive.
Installation was performed by Jose, Armando, Chris G., and Gilbert. They were on-time, clean, courteous, and worked closely with me to ensure all my needs and concerns were met. They covered the floors and furniture as needed and left with the house being very clean. I could not have asked for a better group of professional installers.
My overall experience was 5-star all the way. Thank You Collins Comfort Masters!

Great experience! Randy did a job with getting our house and family the right system at a great price. Justin G, Daniel A and Angel did a wonderful job removing and installing 2 new air conditioning units. Everyone was professional and timely. Very happy, would recommend! (And we are happy that they are a local business!!!)

My experience with Collins Comfort Masters started at Costco. The first appointment I made for an estimate resulted in a no show, but when I called to inquire it appeared that somehow my appointment had been scheduled for 2017. We rescheduled for the following day and Neil C[redacted] came and was punctual, professional, informative and easy to work and communicate with. The team that came to install did a fantastic job, they had a hurdle when the handler that was to be placed in the attic, did not fit through the opening and a few other challenges. They worked through the problems and ultimately got everything installed and working properly. The crew that did our install was Chris W., Chris B., Carlos, and Armando G. Specifically, Armando was the one in the attic all day with Carlos down below handing up pieces of equipment that was then being reassembled by Armando. Two small pieces of constructive criticism, shortly after the guys arrived, I noticed that drinks had been placed on an antique cedar chest, I offered a coaster and the situation was resolved, but probably, they shouldn't have been put there to begin with. The second thing was, after the crew left, I noticed that there was a spill or something wet on the carpet outside the upstairs bathroom. As it has dried, it is a dark, sticky spot. I know that accidents happen and I'm not worried about it, fortunately I'm having new carpet installed in a couple weeks, but I would have liked to have been told that there was a spill and what it was so that I would know how to treat it. That's all. The whole crew was really amazing, helpful, worked well together, answered a lot of questions and did a great job. Thanks!

I had the most positive experience with the Collins Team who installed my new AC unit. Boomer, Daniel and Chris G. were very courteous and thorough in their work. I would highly recommend this team and company to anyone looking for a new AC unit.

Armando and Angel from Collins Comfort Masters were professional hard working from time of arrival until leaving and my house was as clean as when they arrived in fact my garage was probably cleaner being all swept out.

It was a very hot day and I felt bad how hot the attic had to be for them. Before leaving they made sure I understood how to operate thermostat and explained how yearly inspections would work. Thank them both for representing your company superior!!!!

Originally I had my ducts sealed by Carlos & Derek who both talked highly of Collins Comfort Masters - my main reason to have my ducts sealed was the SRP rebate for which Collins submitted the necessary forms to SRP. I had Carlos have their sales folks talk to and Randy came out and we discussed heat pumps at length and I decided to replace my 17 year old system with one of their Lennox high SEER variable speed systems. A few days later their crew (Anthony, Javier and Trevor) showed up and replaced my old system with their new Lennox system and they also handled the paperwork for the SRP rebate on the new system. They did a GREAT job and cleaned up really well when they were finished and Anthony explained the ins and outs of my new wi-fi touchscreen thermostat - it's REALLY AMAZING for a thermostat. All in all I'd definitely recommend Collins for any A/C work as they did an outstanding job for me.

I have been associated with Collins Comfort Masters for four years. They do the annual inspection of my Trane heat pump and I have used them for repair of the Clean Effects module. In all cases, the technician has been polite and professional and usually finds ways to give a little extra (above and beyond) service. I am a happy customer! If a contractor's work ethic is important to you, consider this company.

We had a new Collins Comfort Masters Air Conditioner/Furnace installed on the first of August. We had Jose V., Chris B. and Gilbert in our home for about 7 hours. They all were very professional, hard working and polite employees. They cleaned up after they were finished working and left our home as they found it. They all were willing to listen to our questions and all gave us complete answers. One of our returns was making a new noise due to the difference in the power of the old unit verses the new unit. They did not leave until they had fixed the problem and explained the new equipment to us. We would recommend Collins Comfort Masters to everyone looking for a new air conditioner and as a added bonus , if you go through Costco you get even more cash back and credits. I want to say it was a true pleasure having Collins Comfort Masters install our new AC unit. I was fortunate enough to have Jose V and Gilbert do the installation as they are true professionals. I was extremely impressed with the quality of their work and how AWESOME they were. I am a 1st time customer and with this experience I will certainly be giving them my business going forward. Bill B[redacted] is an outstanding, honest, and knowledgeable service tech. He knows my Lennox system and takes the time to explain his procedures in plain English!!!

Collins did a GREAT job installing a mini-split system with 3 air handlers into our historic home. I appreciate their respect for our 102 year old home - inside and out. They put tarps down and cleaned as they went inside and actually improved the look of the outside lines - painting the tin cover to match our house!

When Collins Comfort Masters found they could not deliver my service call, they found another technician. The temperature outside was 112 and inside was 97.

Fred M[redacted] showed up at 7:30PM after working all day. He stayed until our problem was solved, working outside in the heat, using a flashlight, after spending many hours in hot attics that day. He made time to sit down and talk to us about our AC units and was very personable and professional. Thank you Fred. [redacted] and [redacted]

It is now 1 month since Collins installed a new a/c-furnace unit in our Chandler home. Our 14 year old a/c was running and running and not cooling down below 83 degrees. We had a number of quotes with Collins being the last. Since we had contacted them through Costco, we decided to go with them and several Costco credits involved along with feeling that Costco would stand behind the job also.

We also qualified for an SRP rebate and we received the check in 2 weeks.

The came the next day and 5 hours later the crew, Daniel, Chris B, Carl and Carlos, were finished and the A/C was cooling great! The unit is much quieter than the old unit both inside and outdoors. In addition, our SRP electric bill came down steadily for the last month, which saved us our 1st $100.

What a great experience! I just replaced 2 a/c units, 2 heat pumps and insulation. The installation team lead by Jose and supported by Gilbert, Dan and Karl got all the work done in a day and a half. It was so professionally done, I really appreciate their diligence to get things right the first time! Thanks so much gentlemen!!! John H.
