What a great experience! I just replaced 2 a/c units, 2 heat pumps and insulation. The installation team lead by Jose and supported by Gilbert, Dan and Karl got all the work done in a day and a half. It was so professionally done, I really appreciate their diligence to get things right the first time! Thanks so much gentlemen!!! John H.

It is now 1 month since Collins installed a new a/c-furnace unit in our Chandler home. Our 14 year old a/c was running and running and not cooling down below 83 degrees. We had a number of quotes with Collins being the last. Since we had contacted them through Costco, we decided to go with them and several Costco credits involved along with feeling that Costco would stand behind the job also.

We also qualified for an SRP rebate and we received the check in 2 weeks.

The came the next day and 5 hours later the crew, Daniel, Chris B, Carl and Carlos, were finished and the A/C was cooling great! The unit is much quieter than the old unit both inside and outdoors. In addition, our SRP electric bill came down steadily for the last month, which saved us our 1st $100.

On 7/22/2015, we went out to diagnose a unit that was not cooling for [redacted] and [redacted]. Our technician found a failed blower motor on the unit that had to be ordered from the manufacturer. We ordered the motor and returned later that day to install the part...

because we did not want to leave our customer without cooling that day. Unfortunately, our technician did quote the wrong price on this repair because there was still a parts warranty on this unit. Labor was not covered. Our technician charged $583 for the total call including the diagnostic fee of $72. I finally talked to Mr. [redacted] on 7/28 and told him that we would be refunding him $253 back to his credit card. I told him that this would take a few days to show up on his card but I did email him a receipt of the refund. At this time, Mr. [redacted] told me that he also had a coupon to waive the diagnostic fee on the call. Now, normally we do not accept coupons of any sort after a job has been done, but we wanted to accommodate Mr. [redacted] for the trouble with the original price of the repair. I did tell him that I would have to talk to our office manager to see if it would better to refund the $72 back on his card or send him a check since we had already done a refund on his card. On 8/6 we refunded an additional $72 back on his credit card.  His total charge for his repair of a failed variable speed blower motor was $258.     As far as our technician going on their roof when they were not home, he just wanted to get them cooling since it was a hot day. If we didn’t do the work at that time, there was a good chance that they would have had to wait until the next day. Since the unit was on the roof, we figured there wouldn’t be a problem if we did the work especially since we had prior approval to fix the unit from the homeowners.  [redacted]Service ManagerCollins Comfort Masters

We cannot be more pleased with the complete service that Collins Comfort Masters provided us. From Neil our sales representative to Armando and Alex who did the installation and Rick who repaired a necessary ceiling opening. This company is absolutely amazing, from Ted Chacon who met with me and gave me a quote and set up all the financing and appointment time; to Chris W and Armando G who installed my unit. They were all very professional and all my questions answered. I'm very demanding when it comes to service and all three of these individuals were quality employees, representing Collins very well.

We had Collins Comfort Masters install our new heat pump and we were thrilled with the service we received. Upon getting in the attic they found that the previous unit had not been connected correctly and was a mess. Management had them correct the mistakes even though it required two trips out and extra materials. Both crews that came out were conscientious and made sure we were satisfied before they left. A special thank you to Justin G and Angel and also Chris W. and his assistant.

Had new AC and heating system installed by Justin G., Jacob, and Dan L. from Collins Comfort Masters. Arrived on time and finished before lunch time. Answered all questions I had about the new system. Installation went very smooth and they checked all functions before leaving. Made sure everything was cleaned up.

Armando, Chris W., and Chris B., did a good job they were very hard workers and completed the job as quickly as possible. Very hard workers.

This was my first experience with Collins Comfort Masters but it won't be the last. Derek, the serviceman who checked my cooling system was polite, knowledgeable, and explained everything he was doing and everything he found during the service call. He explained financial alternatives and I chose to purchase a yearlong plan mostly because of his service and because of the company's 24 hour emergency service. In Arizona summer, that is "comforting" (Pun intended.) I was very happy with Derek and plan to ask for him next service call.
I learned about this company at Costco and I expected reliable service because of their endorsement. The experience went above and beyond my expectations.

I have been a customer of Collins Comfort Masters since 2001. During a recent semi-annual check-up of my HVAC system, I got to meet Rob L. for the first time. I found Rob to be a very personable and competent service tech. He did his work in a very professional and timely manner, then explained his findings to me in clear and understandable terms. He presents himself as a definite asset of Collins Comfort Masters. Then given my years of experience with the company, I would expect nothing less from any representative of Collins Comfort Masters!

We needed to replace our 20 year old AC/Furnace. We decided to go through Costco. They steered us to Collins Comfort Masters. We are very happy. Neil (our salesperson) was friendly and knowledgeable. He told us options and rebates and explained the whole process. A week later Justin G and Angel arrived on time as promised. They too where very friendly and knowledgeable. Our house provided a couple of challenges put the guys came through. We could not be happier with our new unit. Justin and Angel where very good and I would ask for them again.

Collins Comfort Masters did a great job overall. Our 15 year old AC unit died (requiring a new compressor) in the heat of the Phoenix summer. We have a 9 month old baby, so we were keen on getting the issue resolved immediately. The people at Collins quickly reacted once they discovered that we had a baby in the home. They even squeezed our install in the day after our initial meeting, and at a fair price (we shopped around). They provided a positive experience from the initial meeting through the installation. Warner and Carols were our install technicians. They did a great and efficient job getting the old unit out and the new unit it. By the evening our house was down from 90 degrees to a nice cool 73. Thanks!

I just got a new Air Conditioner from Collins Comfort Masters. Jose, Gilbert and Javier were the guys that installed it. They did an exceptional job! They were very professional and answered any questions that we had. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else.

     To the best of our knowledge, this matter has been resolved and we now have a satisfied customer.  The following steps were taken to make this resolve:

     Our General Manager, [redacted]...

[redacted], called Mr [redacted] on Friday 3/7/2014 and scheduled a meeting at his home.  The agenda was to discuss the concerns the [redacted]’s had with their installation. 

     At the above mentioned meeting it was discovered that the [redacted]’s main concern was the sizing of their new A/C system and its’ ability to maintain comfort during the hot summer. We measured the home on site and did a heat gain analysis of their home. We found that the original heat gain analysis was correct;  the home needs a 3 ton system.  HOWEVER,  our salesman wrote down a 2.5 ton air conditioner on the proposal instead of a three (3) ton air conditioner that the home required. 

     The [redacted]s stated that if we would change the equipment to 3 tons capacity from 2.5, it would erase their concerns and would be satisfied with the installation.

     Mr [redacted] commented that if he were installing the system he would have re-routed the gas line in the attic instead of on the roof as we did. Re-routing the gas line on the roof is an approved and standard practice, therefore this change is not necessary.

     We are replacing the original air conditioner with a new 3 ton air conditioner today (March 18, 2014), at no cost to the customer. 

     Also, during our  conversation they agreed the filtration system they purchased was something they wanted to keep. It will be re-installed in the new package unit.

     Upon his own research Mr. [redacted] understands that the [redacted] name is simply another trade name [redacted] uses on some of their gas systems.

Great experience with the installation of our new Lennox system by Collins. Jose V and Lujandro were very professional, arrived on time and extremely courteous. We will gladly recommend Collins to our friends and neighbors.

I was in need of a new AC unit and contacted several companies for price and service comparisons. I immediately knew that I would not do business with a few, but Garrett from Collins Comfort came out and immediately asked how he could help, climbed into the attic and told me what all the others said :you definitely need a new unit (20 years old). He then sat down and explained how the different units work, and why I did not need the most expensive. He was AMAZING!. The installation crew, lead by Anthony were outstanding, very clean and attentive to my house by using drop clothes and booties. What a great experience!!

Finally, I also needed a hose bib and two gate valves replaced outside, so they sent out Paul G. and Cameron who were lightening fast and REALLY reasonable.

I had such an awesome experience all the way around and will NEVER use anyone else for plumbing or AC again. I have already referred them to several friends and recommend you to do the same!

We have used Collins Comfort Masters (CCM) several times for service, and have been ok with their customer service and technical knowledge, but when one of our HVAC units went out, ( we have three), we got several estimates, but the one we kept comparing to was CCM, the thoroughness and detail they described the install and quality of the new unit was notably advanced compared to the other estimates/companies we spoke to.

Upon choosing CCM, we were promptly given an install date, and on that day three cleancut and polite guys Justin, Angel and Daniel came out and each one went to work on a separate job description. Angel started by putting down covers and drop clothes all over the area they would be working inside the house, and taping off the closet where they had to go through to reach the attic where the funace/air handler is. Very impressive, never had that done, and we have been through a previous install of two other units four years ago, didn't do anything like that! Daniel and Justin were busy outside, and started looking at the compressor and access to it. It took 5-6 hrs, but I am very pleased with the quality of the work, and the communication during the install. Now they want to schedule a follow up visit to make sure everything is ok AFTER the install! Who does that? Very pleased with the install, and the follow up, great attention to detail, and will use them again, so should YOU!

We had the best experience with John. He was very knowledgable and thorough. Never had such a great experience with a service call. Thank you!
