Review: I began the adventure week July 14 to pay off some of my bills with midnight velvet, Swiss colony, & country door.

7/14/14 I spoke to a very nice lady and she gave me the total balance for the accounts listed below:

Swiss Colony$26.64

Midnight Velvet $19.20

Country Door$164.76

I notified the credit agents that I wanted to pay off these bills and she told me which ones they were handling and which were sent to collection agencies. I gave my credit card info and paid the Swiss Colony amount listed below. I was told that Midnight Velvet was with the collection agency but she checked with her manager and they authorized her to take the payment from me over the phone. She gave me her initials as verification. I expressed the importance of getting a faxed receipt of payoff. She assured me I would get it within 24-48 hours. I hung up feeling good about paying 1 bill off & then decided I should pay Midnight Velvet also. So I called back and I somehow ended up with a manager with the initials LZS. She gave me her initials to verify payment which by the end of the week it didn’t mean anything. This experience turned to a nightmare because she was very nasty on the phone and I gave her my CC# anyway to pay off $19.20.

7/15/14 I called back to see if the payments had processed and I was told it was processing and to call back tomorrow

7/16/14 I called back 5-6 times and no one could find the payments that I made on Monday, or verify that I had even called into the office. Every time I called I went directly to the credit department but there were no notations and everyone I spoke to was very rude. It almost seemed that after the dispute with manager LZS there were bad notes about me and everyone attitude changed after they pulled up my account & read notes. The 2 charges were fully posted onto my account (not pending) but no one knew where the money went. I asked to speak with manager LZS or suggested they find her and check with her; since she’s the one who took the money. They said they would look into and have someone call me back. So I proceeded like a fool trying to pay my bills another which was Country Door (see amount above) and expressed also I wanted a faxed copy of the payoff letter also.

7/17/14 I called back very upset and pleading that I didn’t want to give anyone a hard time but just wanted to pay my bills and told them that if they couldn’t find the payments I paid on Monday I would call my bank and file fraud charges. That didn’t seem to matter to anyone. They wanted me to go through the trouble and have my bank send them a copy of my bank statement showing the debited charges from my account and I told them I didn’t have time for that. Country Door took the payment and should have some type of record of it in their system.

7/18/14 I pleaded one last time and the last manager said she was faxing my letter for the Country Door payment. It is now 7/21 and I still haven’t received a letter. I personally don’t believe the request for that has been sent. So I called my bank and filed 2 fraud charges for the payments I made on Monday. The bank agreed that the phone number of the company and all processing information for the charges applied to my account fully on Wednesday. I then called Country Door back and asked if I could be postal mailed a copy of my payoff letter. She told me she saw my previous requests but they were never put through to anyone. After a week long battle of phone calls I was tired and decided to contact Revdex.com.

**Everyone give their initials but in the end it means nothing because when I called back with these people initials no one tried to find that person to see what went on. Out of the entire week I called a total of 21 times!!! This is highly unacceptable for anyone who is trying to give money and pay bills. It shouldn’t have been this hard to give someone money to pay a bill. I have never experienced that in my life when trying to give money. I hunted them down and this is the treatment I get! I have shared this with my family & friends and told them when the catalogs come in the mail DON’T ORDER because almost everyone in the credit department is rude except for a few I spoke with. All of the credit managers are not in the business of credit counseling or helping people pay off their bills. They will take your money and it never applies to your account!!!Desired Settlement: 1. Explain where the money went for charges on my account

3. Pay-off letter for country door account & bad notes removed from my account (if any)

4. Complentary gift would be nice from all the time wasted from work calling their company and getting nothing solved and having to get my bank involved

two Six Drawer Chests/Oak 8/19/2013. At the time of the call, our representative

requested replacement parts for scratched drawers. The parts were sent out

9/3/2013. On 11/23/2013 we received a call notifying us of further defects on

the items. Replacement Chests and UPS return labels were requested. The

replacement items were delivered via UPS 12/2/2013 and 12/9/2013. Two Chests

were expected back in return. Only one was received. The last correspondence on

this order took place 2/14/2014 at which time our representative offered a 25%

discount of $44.75 to keep one of the Chests. Records show this offer was

accepted.

Review: I have Never has an account with this company, however they have put on my credit report as a collection account. I called customer service to ask about what documentation they had, and they had NOTHING! Please have them remove there information from my credit report. Also, have them send me a letter verifying they are removing my information as well.

Recently they asked me to fill out a blank affidavit. As I'm sure you're aware, this is wrong. It is up to MIDNIGHT VELVET to prove that this account is mine. Ms. [redacted] is disputing information that appears on her consumer credit report. Such a dispute is governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”). The FCRA does not include any of the requirements cited by Ms. [redacted]. The FCRA requires a furnisher of information to conduct a reasonable investigation of a dispute received from a consumer or a consumer reporting agency. Midnight Velvet is required to establish a reasonable basis for believing that the account belongs to the individual who filed the dispute.

Review: Items were returned to Monroe and Main because some of the items were too small or defective i.e., skirt too long on one side, button fell off pants or the item may have been too small or too big so they were returned with the return mailing label provided and taken to the post office. Spoke to a Monroe and Main representative who told me that I would be charged for all of the items that I returned to them. I was on my last payment to this company and they then added on a fee for all of the items that were returned to them. I previously filed a claim online about this company several months ago and have heard no response from anyone regarding this matter.Desired Settlement: If due I would like an apology from this company and a billing adjustment. Also if they have negatively affected by credit in anyway I would like that corrected also.

returns were promptly credited upon processing at various times. Shipping and

processing is not automatically credited, which is a common practice in the

catalog industry when a product is returned because the customer didn’t like the

product or changed his or her mind, or the item did not fit. As a courtesy,

10/29/2014 credit was issued for shipping and processing on two orders.

Additionally, twice, items were returned using

the Smart Label option at a cost of $7.95 to be applied to your account when

returned. This information is clearly disclosed on the label prior to its

removal. Your account balance was as low as $43.10 on June 7, 2014, but the

subsequent increase was not caused by any fees assessed by Monroe and Main. The

balance increased to $356.78 due to two purchases made on June 11 and June 20,

2014. NOTE: All purchases, charges and credits are reflected on your monthly

statement. Please review your records if you believe you have not received

credit for a returned item.

Our

records indicate the last date of a zero account balance was 7/18/13. Since

that date you have incurred charges totaling $747.16 on your account and

received credits for returns totaling $472.52, creating a principal balance of $274.64.

You have also incurred finance charges and late fees totaling $42.78.Payment on

your account total $182.86, leaving a total unpaid balance of $134.56.

Review: Midnight Velvet send me a pre-approved catolog and when I called to place an order the person took my order and stated if I paid the fee for three day delivery it would be there by 12/17/14. After the end of the call I asked if there was anything elese I had to do and at no time did the person tell me they had to do a credit check first are did any call me to let me know I was not approved. I feel this put in in a uncomfortable situtation and my gift was not delivered.Desired Settlement: I feel my order should be make as a complimentary service.

The merchandise was shipped to Ms. [redacted] in March of 2012. Ms. [redacted] made a payment on her account in May of 2012 before apparently deciding that she had not received the merchandise. Ginny's continued to send billing statements and past due notices to Ms. [redacted]'s home address and made repeated attempts to contact her by telephone until the account was charged off as a loss in November of 2012 . Despite these efforts, Ginny's records do not reflect any contact from Ms. [redacted] alleging she did not receive the merchandise until December of 2013, when she was provided with the tracking number for the shipment. Ms. [redacted] Ms. [redacted] disputed the account through one of the consumer reporting agencies in July of 2015, alleging that the account was not hers. Ginny's believes the information it has furnished to the consumer reporting agencies accurately reflects the payment history and current status of Ms. [redacted]'s account.

Review: Ashro sent a pre approved catalog to old address in ohio, once I saw the charge on my credit Report, I Connected Ashro abd they agreed to have it removed Fun my credit reports when I paid the balance. I paid the full bill. Ashro agreed to have this derogatory record removed from the credit bureaus. It is still showing on my reports. I no longer live in ohio at the above address.Desired Settlement: Remove this Ashro record from my credit reports with Transunion, equifax and experian

Review: I purchase Super Plush Convertible Storage Sofa which got broke once and they exchange for me. I was hopping that I will receive better one after I had bad experience with one already. My new sofa was even worse. Wooden box frame began separating in the middle (nails are visible) resultung in the metal futon frame to be in curved shape. I paid $599.95 plus shipping $70.00. Review: Hello, I previously had a Monroe & Main account. The account was closed out and I did not realize there was still a remaining balance. The account was forwarded to the credit bureaus and created negative reporting. Review: I ordered a rocking horse,a rocking chair and four stockings for Christmas. I ordered them the beginning of November and was told I would have to send a check. I did and the check cleared on Nov. 17th. I was told it would take 15 days to process. I waited as these were presents for my new grandson for Christmas (his first). So I called on dec. 7th and the man on th phone told me my ordered was being processed that day. It is now Dec. 14th and still no presents... So I called customer service and the supervisor told me the rocking chair will be shipped today but the horse and the stockings are no longer available. No one called to tell me they were no longer available and I was counting on those for Christmas presents. All the supervisor could say was she was sorry . I spent nearly three hundred dollars on that order and now no gifts two weeks before Christmas . Review: I bought a sofa bed from this company. This was a large product. Once rec'd it had many wrong peices in thi box. This product was not as described in the book or online. It came two diffferent colors and did not work. I had to use glue. They said it was made with real wood but was not real wood. When I called they refused to take responsiblity for their product and after throwing the box away wanted me to go find a box or pay for a box to ship the broken sofa back. I did not feel I was compensated for my money or my time regarding this. I want this company reported for false advertising and horrible customer service. I will never shop from them again.Desired Settlement: I want another one shipped out free of charge. I'm very upset that Seventh ave could not give good customer satisfaction.

Review: this company charged me in the amount of $33.00 for something back in December. I have no knowledge of this company and have never done business with them. The only reason I found out about this charge is because I ran my credit report. I spoke with a billing account specialist who told me back on june 23 2015 that the amounts were $33 and if it were paid it would be removed. Since the amount was so low I figured it would be worth it just to pay the amount so it is not reflecting on my reports. the account rep gave me a collection number and I contacted, made payment same day. This item just reported on my credit report again.Desired Settlement: Removal of the account of my credit reports.

Ms. [redacted] first communication with Seventh Avenue occurred on July 16, 2015, after she paid the balance on her account. In light of the small balance, Seventh Avenue agreed to delete the account information from Ms. [redacted] credit file. This change may take 30 days or more to appear on a consumer credit report.

Review: The Country Door, Seventh Avenue, Ginny's, Monroe and Main, Midnight Velvet and Swiss Colony are a partnership company, all located at 1112 7th Avenue Monroe, WI 53566, that distributes credit through a Choose 'n Charge form of credit. I began receiving collection notice from several different credit agencies in early October 2013. I ran my credit reports for all 3 credit bureaus and found The Country Door/ SKO Brenner for $311.00. Seventh Avenue/Merchants Credit for $542.00, Ginny's/ Retrieval Master Credit Bureau for $$347.28, Monroe and Main/Allied Data Services for $287.00, Midnight Velvet/Merchants Credit for $516.00 and Swiss Colony/ SKO Brenner for $590.00. All of these original companies appear on my credit report as do the credit agencies they were placed with. From the information I found, these companies are all mail-order businesses. I have no records of any purchases from any of these businesses so, I sent 6 Validation letters certified mail to the credit companies that currently hold these accounts on October 20th, 2013. I received a letter from Retrieval Masters Credit Bureau dated Nov. 11, 2013 stating since I had not disputed this debt they are assuming it is valid and they are looking to collect $347.28 for Ginny's on behalf of The Swiss Colony. I immediately called the collection agency in regards to the dispute and request for Validation I sent certified to their office on Oct. 20, 2013. I stated I received the #[redacted] form back signed by [redacted] dated Oct. 24th 2013. I was then informed it was never received and I could send out another request for validation but, since it has been over 30 days they are not obligated to reply. I am beginning to think these 6 partnered companies are a scam. I now have 6 delinquent accounts that have been charged off and either sold or put into collections and 6 collection accounts on my 3 credit reports. These accounts are being treated as 12 separate delinquent accounts and have destroyed my credit. It has been 25 days since I spent $50.00 to send all of these validation requests. In the validation requests I asked that I be sent a copy of my signature a contract with the alleged original account holder and verification these debts were assigned or sold to the collectors. I also stated if Validation could not be provided I would like all reference to the accounts be deleted and completely removed from the 3 credit bureaus and a copy of the request for deletion requests be sent to me.Desired Settlement: I would like all record of the 6 original creditors and the 6 credit agencies deleted/removed from all 3 credit bureaus ([redacted]), I have #3811 forms signed and dated and returned to me by all 6 credit agencies as proof of my attempts for validation and would be happy to provide them as proof of my attempts.

Payments received in response to billing statements mailed to her attention indicate her acceptance of the account balance and the terms and conditions of the account. It shoudl be furhter noted that none of the companies received a notice of dispute under the Fair Credit Billing Act while her accounts were open and active. The balances on Ms. [redacted] accounts are accurate and correct and the debts are properly due and payable.

Absent any substantive dispute regarding specific information furnished to a consumer reporting agency on one of her accounts, the companies will consider any future disputes from Ms. [redacted] to be frivolous and irrelevant under Section 1681s-2(a)(8)(F) of the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THESE DAMN PEOPLE WOULD RISK MY PERFECT CREDIT HISTORY OVER $32.00. THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD ENOUGH BRAINS TO KNOW THAT IF I OWED YOU ANOTHER $32.00 THAT I WOULD PROBABLY PAY YOU IF I PAID YOU $181.47. BUT THAT WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THEM, THEY PLACED A CHARGEOFF ON MY PERSONAL CREDIT HISTORY OUT OF SPITE AND IT STILL REMAINS ON MY PERSONAL CREDIT REPORTS CURRENTLY.

DIANA ADVISED ME THAT SHE WAS GOING TO PUT IN A REQUEST FOR IT TO BE REMOVED BUT TO DATE IT STILL REMAINS ON MY PERSONAL CREDIT HISTORY. I ASKED FOR A LETTER, I ASKED FOR SOMETHING IN WRITING AND THE ONLY THING THEY OFFERED WAS A STATEMENT PRINTOUT THAT SHOWED THAT I PAID THE $181.47. THESE PEOPLE ARE CRYING OVER $32.00 THAT I NEVER EVEN KNEW I OWED THEM, AND YET THEY MAKE AN ATTEMPT TO FILE A CHARGEOFF ON ME ON MY PERSONAL CREDIT REPORT AT THE SAME TIME THEY RECEIVED MY PAYMENT. THE CHARGEOFF WAS PLACED ON MY PERSONAL CREDIT REPORT ON 08/21/2013. I PAID THESE LUNES ON 08/14/2013 AND THE CHECK CLEARED ON THE 20TH OF AUGUST SO WHY DO A CHARGEOFF THE VERY NEXT DAY??????

THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AND SHUTDOWN AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAVE A CREDIT REPORTING ACCOUNT. HOW DARE THEY DO THIS TO ME WHEN THE PAYMENT WAS THERE, IT WAS CLEARED, THEY WERE PAID AND THE NEXT DAY AFTER BEING PAID THEY TURN AROUND A FILE A CHARGEOFF????????????????? Seventh Avenue received a written order from Ms. [redacted] on February 12, 2013. The information on the order, including the name, address, telephone number and e-mail address, matches the information provided by Ms. [redacted] on her complaint. The order also included Ms. [redacted]’s social security number. After reviewing her credit history, Seventh Avenue requested a down payment of $42.95 before the order would be released and the balance charged to a credit account. The request for a down payment was sent to Ms. [redacted] at the address on the order. Remittance of the down payment was made on February 14 by credit card. On February 15, 2013 an e-mail was sent to Ms. [redacted]’s e-mail address, explaining that one of the items she ordered was on back order.

Review: I purchased a Grill from Seventh Avenue but my son purchased another one for. I called a week after I purchased from 7th avenue but they wanted me to pay for sending it back. Although representative told it would not be an issue to send it back, they still want me to pay for shipping after 5 months of calling several times. I called today and told them to closed the account because anything else I order requires 50% down. I do not need an account that will not authorize shipping labels.Desired Settlement: Since the box hasn't been opened and in original packaging, I want a prepaid shipping label to return the Grill

Review: I have an account with Ashro, Seventh Avenue, Montgomery Ward Midnight Velvet and Monroe and Main. Last year I stop paying these companies with my Bank Card because they took out more money from my accounts. Now I pay with Western Union Money Orders. All the other companies get their money orders and post them to my accounts, but Ashro get my money orders payments cash them and than do not post them to my account. Later in the month they start calling me harassing me telling me that they have not got their payments. Ashro say from 9/2014 until 01/2015 they have not received a payment from me. I buy my money orders from Kroger Grocery Store and they keep records of the date they sell the money orders. The money order for 12-3-2014 I paid for and sent to Ashro was cash on 12-11-2014, but Ashro say they do not have a record of the money order. My first and only account that I open up have a balance of over $700.00 for it, but when I order two catfans on 12-21-2014 a new account was open up and Ashro will not fix it. When I am on the phone with them they say they have fix the problem, but I keep getting nasty calls saying "pay up your account and we will stop bother you. I have never miss a payment to Ashro. Last year in 8/2014 I got scam so when I found out that Ashro did not get their payments for 8/2014 and now it was the middle of 9/2014 I borrow the money and sent them two payment total $70.00 each payment is $35.00/mo.Desired Settlement: Tell Ashro to stop stealing customers money. I want them to go back to the first time I order and item from them and put the due date that they say is 30 days when the item is ship out. Such my records for my money orders payments and see who cash them. Because Kroger and Western Union say these money orders have been cash and I have to send them $30.00 for a copy each money order that show who cash the money orders.

A second Ashro account was inadvertently opened in Ms. [redacted] name in December of 2014. Ashro regrets this error, however, all activity from the duplicate account was transferred to Ms. [redacted] original account on January 7, 2015. Ms. [redacted] continues to allege that she made a payment on her Ashro account in December that is not reflected on her account. Ashro has no record of receiving a payment in December (although a payment on the duplicate account was received on January 7, 2015 and subsequently transferred to her existing account) and has asked Ms. [redacted] to provide documentation indicating the payment was received and processed by Ashro. Ms. [redacted] has not provided such documentation as of the date of this response. Nonetheless, in the interest of resolving this complaint, Ashro has credited Ms. [redacted]'s account in the amount of $35. This credit should appear on her next monthly billing statement.

Review: I placed an order online for 4 items on 12-6-14. Was told I need to put a deposit down. So I paid $30.69 which was taken out of my bank account on 12-10-14. The items were no longer available and Swiss Colony has not credited my account. I have called 3 times and was told there would be a credit bank to my account, which has not happen. Third call was on hold for 20 minutes and still no answer.Desired Settlement: I would like my money refunded immediately.

Seventh Avenue will not, and cannot, discuss Ms. [redacted] account with a third party. More importantly, if Ms. [redacted] allowed someone to use her account to make a purchase she remains responsible for payment of the account. Seventh Avenue's records reflect three payments received since the account was opened in September of 2014. If Ms. [redacted] has documentation of additional payments (front and back of the payment, showing the date the payment was deposited), Seventh Avenue will make any and all necessary adjustments to the account balance. Seventh Avenue has placed the account on hold for 30 days pending receipt of documentation from Ms. [redacted].

Review: I made a gift purchase in sept, of 2013 the person who sent the merchandise to returned it the numbers on the box where: [redacted], I was paying on this purchase and when I found out it was returned I contacted the company and they were to refund the money I had already paid, but instead charged-off my account and put it in collections.Desired Settlement: Refund money paid and take out of collections and remove from credit report
