Convergent Outsourcing only collects on balances placed in our office by our clients.We do not attempt to...

scam consumers.On 04/22/2016, Mr. [redacted] spoke with an agent in our office and requested we send documentation of the balance owed on the account.The account was placedin a disputed status and the collection activity was suspended. On 04/26/2016 we requested documentation on Mr. [redacted]'s behalf from our client Comcast.In responseto this communication, we have closedthe account in our office and returned it to our client,Comcast. We do not own the accountand therefore cannot guarantee a resolution. We will forward a copy of this complaintand our response to our client. Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. has investigated this  complaint. Sprint placed this  account in our office02/24/2011,to collect a balance of $306.59 on their behalf. On 01/11/2016, we did send an offer to settle the account for $61.32  if paid by 3/11/2016. Convergent Outsourcing only...

collects on balances placed in our office by our clients.We do not attempt to scam consumers.To date, this is the first communication that we have received from Mr. [redacted], requesting for validation of the balance. The following information has been provided from Sprint:Account reflects the balance  of $306.59; acct was cancelled01/05/09 for nonpayment; charges are for usage and overage for phone numbers [redacted] and [redacted] for bill period Sep 01-Sep30 billed 10/04/08;plus late fees and taxes; last payment of $270.50 posted on 03/17/09In response to this complaint, we have requested statements be mailed to Mr. [redacted] at the address we  have  on file validating  the balance. The account  has been placed in a cease  communication status.Our information was requested to be removed from the credit bureaus on 06/06/2015.We appreciate the opportunity to respond.

Convergent Outsourcing has closed the account in our office and returned it to T-Mobile. We did not report our information to the credit bureaus for this account. A copy of this information has bene sent to T-Mobile. We do not own the account and therefore we cannot guarantee resolution. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  Jason W[redacted] LIED LIED LIED.  He REMOVED me from the system BEFORE Ms. Sarah investigated this complaint.  Jason W[redacted] did in fact email me a copy of a report sent to Experian and TransUnion indicating REMOVAL of a collection that was ACTUALLY PAID IN FULL to the Medical Provider:  Cora Health Services. I have a copy of the FORM Jason W[redacted] emailed me; however, due to COMPROMISING my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, I do NOT NOW OR EVER send my Social Security Number via email in an unencrypted and unsecured email.  To ask me to send Ms. Sarah my Social Security Number would FURTHER jeopardize my identity and compromise my person, which is the original basis for the complaint with Revdex.com.  Commercial Recovery Services has absolutely ZERO (0) concern for ID THEFT, simply by asking me to send them my SS# again in an email.  To ask me to provide my SS# to Revdex.com is unconscienably ignorant, which would leave me totally open to ID THEFT once AGAIN.  This company has low ratings, and is NOT ever to be Trusted.

We apologize Ms. [redacted] did not receive our communication as we did not receive any information returned in the mail.In response to receiving this communication, Convergent Outsourcing has not reported our information to the credit bureaus. Convergent Outsourcing has received Ms. [redacted]'s additional information. This account was placedin our office by T-Mobile on 08/05/2016, to collect a balance of $1207.89 on their behalf.On 09/08/2016, a payment was submitted to our online payment system in the amount of $400.00.To date, no further payments have been received by Convergent Outsourcing, on behalf of thisaccount.On 04/10/2017, this account was closed in our office and returned to T-Mobile per their request. On04/17 /2017, we received an emailed request from Ms. [redacted]; requesting the account be removedfrom her credit bureau.Ms. [redacted] has been provided a copy of our e-Oscar request to have our information removedfrom the credit bureaus. This request does not say sample; this is the printed version of theelectronic request Convergent Outsourcing has sent.We appreciate the opportunity to respond.

I am rejecting this response because: While I am not rejecting the response in its entirety I am wanting to provide clarity. Convergent Outsourcing received the letter on 04/18/17 per the attached certified mail number. This means they would have needed to provide a notice of dispute to the credit reporting agencies on or after that date. Convergent Outsourcing still continued to provide updates to the credit reporting agencies with the last one dated 05/07/2017 which is a violation. I will continue to watch my reports to ensure this account is removed from the credit bureaus. Thank you.
