Regions Bank placed this account in our office 09/21/2015 to collect $617.52 on their behalf.To date this is the first communication we have received from Ms.[redacted]. us under another name, on which the phone number [redacted] listed in Ms. [redacted] complaint was a contact number. Convergent Outsourcing has called the phone number [redacted] one time on 05/02/2016 at 2:24pm eastern time. We did not speak with anyone on this phone call as there was no answer. On 05/02/2016 at 4:38pm eastern time, Ms. [redacted] called back and stated she has had a missed call. It was discovered that the phone number Ms. [redacted] had received the call to, was listed for another party. The agent marked the phone number bad. Ms. [redacted] also spoke with a supervisor who additionally, added the phone number of [redacted] to our "do not call" list, and we have notified our client to have the phone number added to their "do not call" list. We have no information regarding any calls made to Ms. [redacted] at the number [redacted] before the account on which it was listed was placed with us in April of 2016 and we have not placed any calls to the number since May 2nd, when we were advised it was a wrong phone number. If Ms. [redacted] is receiving calls to any other phone number than the one she has provided in this complaint, to research this matter further Ms. [redacted] may provide dates, times and the phone number(s) to which the calls were placed. We can also have additional numbers added to our "do not call" list. To have phone numbers being called in error removed from our system, Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. has a Do Not Call Line at 1-855-728-9701 or on our website at www.convergentusa.com. Seems like convergent is trying to buy time on this issue. I am certain that there is not many [redacted] that have a claim with convergent that claim Reliant energy as the original debtor. I have provided a copy of the image from my kredit karma. please stop running around in circles and delete this account.

Convergent Outsourcing Inc. has investigated this complaint. Palisades Collection, LLC placed this account in our office to collect a balance of $161.45  on their behalf on 05/20/2011. Convergent Outsourcing only collection on balances placed in our office by our clients, we do not attempt to...

scam consumers.On 01/29/2016, Mr. [redacted]'s, spouse called and spoke with someone in our office and advised that they did not recall this account and requested that we send them proof of the balance owed.On 01/29/2016, the account was placed in a dispute status so that we may request this information from our client.The reason the agent was not able to  provide all the identifying information is, Convergent Outsourcing does not own the account. Therefore we do not have access to see all of the account information only what is provided by our client.In response to receiving this complaint, the account has been closed in our office.We are sorry to hear you may have been a victim of fraud. We have not reported the above referenced account to the credit bureaus. We do not own the account therefore cannot guarantee resolution. We will forward a copy of this complaint and our response to our client. If Mr. [redacted] has any further inquiries please have him contact Palisades Collection, LLC directly at 1-800414-8319, as we are no longer handling the account.
