I have spoken with Mr*** and apologized for the trouble he's had with his GE Profile refrigerator
I offered to set up another service call for him and agreed to follow up after the repair
As an additional good will
gesture, I agreed to provide him with a 12-month warranty on his refrigerator
He has accepted this as a fair and reasonable resolution to his complaint

I agreed to either send a different authorized servicer as a second opinion or a prorated exchange to be processed directly through

Service people were here yesterday and, once again, tried to repair the wall oven Two highly qualified courteous technicians were hereThey had to remove the oven from the wall and make replacements in the back of the unit The ovens are still not holding the correct temperaturesLet me say, once again, this is a brand new oven which was defective from the startWhy then, according to GE Is it only covered for repairs and not replacement? I am saddened that GE is not standing behind its once known brand of highest quality products.
No one should be buying a refrigerator that will only last years According to my online estimate, I would need at least $in parts alone, with no guarantee that unit will function properly after said parts are installed
At this point, I do not believe that I should spend a single cent on a product that should last way more than years
The unit is defective and GE should handle it properly, and not send me a on wild goose chase in finding parts, installing parts and paying for it all out of my pocket
GE should stand by its name and cover repairs associated with its defective materials and poor workmanship in full

GE has explained to her that per the recall guidelines the Consumer Product Safety Commission has approved a repairGE has offered to schedule service to complete the recall repairHowever, Ms*** refuses the repairGE has advised her to discontinue using the units until the repair has been completedShould she wish to schedule service on the units she is welcome to call the recall hotline at *** and they would be happy to schedule the service call to complete the repair

Our consumer relations department has offered a prorated exchange for this consumer and is waiting for a decision. I called on 1/and left a voice mail but to date have no heard back

I just spoke to the consumer this morning. We completed warranty service on Friday 1/and the refrigerator has been repaired

Thank you for the opportunity to review the concern of Mr*** ***. Please be advised that I have contacted Mr*** to discuss the issues he has had thus far with the unit. He advised that the unit is now repaired, and we agreed that he would call me, should this unit fail
