washer and it has been determined that the issue was of no fault of the washer itself but instead was due to the location of the washer within Mr***’ homeAs a gesture of goodwill GE has offered him a discount into a comparable model in which Mr*** has accepted and the replacement washer has been processed

I've confirmed that the unit has been repaired and offered her a one-year extension on her warranty beyond the one-year manufacturer's

The business continues to deny that the problem existsThe business also has not addressed the fact that immediately after the first attempted repair, the problem became almost twice as bad
Furthermore, the 3rd party technicians GE has hired under warranty *** *** ***) agree with my assessment that the fridge is functioning poorly and recommend temperature fluctuations within the degree rangeThe A&E technicians also inspected the fridge (which is something the GE technician never did in the scheduled appointments), and identified a potential problem with another part that the GE technician never considered
The repairs have been scheduled for Apr My understanding is that GE will foot the bill for the repairs, as per the warrantyBased on recommendations from A&E, there may be additional follactions
It looks like whoever at GE closed the complaint is unaware of the previously scheduled work with *** (even though it's clearly mentioned both in the complaint and in the customer service ticket I had open with GE)This work is in progress and may or may not lead to a resolutionHowever, the issue is definitely not yet resolved

The consumer has replaced his filter with a new one and it is currently working. If it fails early again he will call me and we will send service out

We have spoken to this consumer and explained we would not agree to exchange this unit. Our service has completed multilple service calls on this unit and found nothing wrong with it. It is working as designed

This is not the answer to my concern. Their service person agreed there is an issue with this machine. Service person had no say in GE's response to him. Service rep did not charge me for visit when he said he would if it was not an GE issue. That proves it is a GE issue. I wanted help with this draining issue, how to avoid my floor flooding out, how often to drain, etc....GE would not help me and their executive rep hung up on me. I still have no answer from them. They refuse to discuss this. They told me to contact their president
