For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI have been a loyal GE customer for the last yearsI have purchased all my refrigerators and freezers from GEIf GE does not reverse what I feel is a misinterpretation of it's disclaimer it will mean the refrigerator which I bought, trusting GE, will have cost me over $a year to ownI feel they have betrayed my trust for the following reasons:
The disclaimers in the GE warranty, basically states that warranty work will be provided through the GE service center when I request it, I did not request warranty work for this emergency rechargeNo where in the warranty does it say that if I request non warranty work, the warranty is voidA reasonable person would not read that into the warranty
The servicer who charged my unit is authorized to service most high end appliances, *** *** *** *** ***GE's arbitrary decision that he is not qualified will cost me $I deserve an explanation as to why a mere recharge, by a qualified technician, authorized by most of the other high end manufactures would damage a GE refrigeratorIn the future, I would prefer to deal with GE in writing through the Revdex.com in this matter

GE knows full well that this part is and has been recalled, my appliance as shown on the "control board", was installed and tested in March of 2006, which falls into the recall per GE. Even though my appliance was completely put together later in the year, I think GE said it was Oct of 2006, it should stand to reason that the "control board" installed in March of 2006, should suffice to be included in the recall that GE is fully aware ofIt is a total shame that GE would treat their customers like thisGE you know well and good that this part is defective, (it is caused by cheap Chinese made capacitors used on the "control board".) Ge should stand behind their products especially if there is a known recall.
GE, feels that their products are cheap and will not last for over a few yearsThat in of itself should make consumers aware that GE doesn't expect their over priced, cheap, not reliable, will not last very long lasting appliances, to take your hard earned money and leave the consumer out in the cold.
I will not spend one penny towards any part that I know has been recalled
GE YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!
Maybe it won't bother GE much for loosing my business, but I will tell everybody I can over the internet how lousy and cheap GE really isLets see how well my comments are over at AMAZON, where I bought a new "control board", for less than your dollar plus shipping, deal&n

I spoke with Mr.*** yesterday and apologized for the trouble he's had with his garbage disposal
Although we couldn't confirm the model and serial number at the time, he did agree that it was purchased in 2009.
I
explained our warranty on these types of appliances and informed him that it was well beyond the one-year manufacturer's warranty. I am not able to assist with his request for a refund

I have spoken with Mrs*** and apologized for the trouble she's had with her GE cooktop.
Due to the backordered part that is needed for repair, we have agreed to exchange for the same model number which will come
with a brand new one-year warranty from the date it's installed
I have left Mrs*** a voicemail message with this resolution. The new order number is *** and should be delivered in approximately 3-business days

I have tried reaching out to the *** on 4/29, 5/and 5/12. I have left voicemails each time. I have not heard anything back
I believe the offer to mail her one Agitator Assembly is fair. She can
call me back directly to schedule a repairman to install it at no charge to her as long as it's within the one-year warranty

Good Morning and thank you for contacting me. I was not dealing with a warranty company but rather directly with GE. I called them at ###-###-#### (800GECARES) to set up the service visit. I purchased the refrigerator in March 26,2010 (it was not delivered until May) and I
was told that I would be charged $just for the technician to come to my home. Their warranty states that certain parts are warrantied for five years from date of purchase. The sexually inappropriate technician never bothered to look at anything so it is possible that whatever is broken could fall under their warranty I don't know if this answers your question properly. Please let me know. Also, I have all email correspondence that occurred between myself and the customer advocate, *** **.
